Very interesting content including a lot of helpful info on the current situation. The content on Sections 21 and 8 gave a good insight into the possible situation post legislation - however it is of necessity rather speculative when there is not even a draft bill as yet. As was said several times - don’t panic!

Kind of new a lot of the information myself however am surprised that there view of 2.5 yrs for these changes to then be made live as I think politically this will be brought in much sooner following various consultations and before the next General Election. There were a deluge of questions in chat that need to be answered and shared amongst all attendees, I do hope these are circulated asap as I managed to take a quick copy of them before the host ended the webinar.

Great programme and good information from Paul as usual. As a Welsh landlord we do have additional concerns with how the Welsh government are tackling landlords which could be featured in future programmes. In our case this has meant selling some of our portfolio having been landlords for over 20 years!

I work for National Energy Action, I am a welfare benefits advisor, I have also worked for councils and housing associations and like to keep up to date. My reason for attending this webinar is because there may be many tenants who will not be able to pay their gas and electricity bills this coming winter. Will they pay their rent or pay their energy bill? I need to know how section 21 and section 8 differ, to advise customers to get help, where to sign post or refer to but to also speak to their landlords about the situation. Excellent webinar, thank you

Thanks for a very clear explanation of what the changes to section 21 are all about and how section 8 may be amended, and also for the general quality advice about letting. I use an agent for my 4 properties, but still good to hear your advice.
