Aug 06,2019It was straight forward to sign up with Emoov and to get the property listed. The photographs taken of the property were well done and presented the property well. The online booking system worked well and it was easy to arrange viewings. The portal could be made clearer to notify when an offer had been made and how to proceed from this stage. Some feedback we had from some of the people viewing the property was that they struggled to get hold of Emoov on the phone to confirm details of the property when visiting for a viewing. The Emoov staff we engaged with were helpful and easy to contact.

Aug 05,2019Queries dealt with very quickly by Abi, and the whole process was very slick. Jason Burke is a superstar and handled the latter stages of the sale incredibly well. If I had one criticism it would be the quality of call handing when Abi was unavailable. The call centre staff that answered the phone weren't very good. In my case the easiest solution was to email Abi ask her to call me back when she was free, which she was very prompt at doing.

Aug 04,2019Not particularly available or responsive on the phone - takes a long time to get through to someone, and then can be a very long wait to hear back from your client person. Sense of high turnover of staff? Inconsistent in quality of insight into housing market website would benefit from additions - eg making it easy to contact the seller directly for last minute cancellations or changes; or to arrange an appointment. sometimes it isn't as straightforward as just requesting different time slots. *****THIS IS A RESPONSE TO THE EMMOV REPLY*** as i'm not sure how t leave a reply to theirs.... We did use direct phone numbers. The calls went to answer messages or we would be told they would call back and never did. We were left with no option than to use the main emmov number. I must also add we did sell our house. So generally happy with not having to pay fees etc to a regular estate agent, I just wanted to give you our feedback, as you asked for it via email. Just some things to iron out and all will be perfect. Thank you x

The photographs that were taken were amazing so much so that we had 12 visitors in the first week. Within 8 weeks we had had 3 offers and finally got the price we wanted. Easy process, seamless and definitely recommended.

She was prompt and efficient with all our enquiries and easy to get a hold of and called weekly, sometimes more often with updates. Once we received our offer we moved under Jason’s remit. Thankfully our sale has progressed easily and we are about to complete but we have never heard from Jason again

Jul 26,2019This is a review of purchasing a property via Griffin Residential as a buyer. Whilst the costs of advertising a property as a seller is cheap, you get what you pay for as a buyer. We were recently purchasing a property in East Barnet Village advertised on the site as a 4 Bedroom Semi with a garage. It turned out that the loft did not have building regs approval and the garage did not belong to the seller, both false advertising, thereby mis-leading buyers. A good estate agent would have done their due diligence to ensure that the property was accurately marketed. The photos were not high quality and the house was not dressed for sale to appeal to buyers, it was really dirty when we viewed it which was quite a put off! Again, a good estate agent would have advised clueless sellers how to market a property! After months of having to deal directly with sellers who led us on to believe they were committed to sale, they finally pulled out for no reason 2 weeks before agreed exchange, costing us 2.5k in legal and survey fees and letting everyone in the sale down. There needs to be an objective party in the process and dealing directly with vendors directly who wasted our time on endless phone calls, not having a clue about the fundamentals of selling a house really burnt us. The property description was misleading as the house was in bad condition and needed complete refurbishment. We believe a good estate agent would have done due diligence on the vendor and would have managed communication effectively. Whilst it’s not Griffin’s liability that the sellers advertising on their site were complete time wasters and had no clue about the house selling process or any integrity at all, there is a level of due diligence you get from dealing with estate agents. We would never purchase a property through an online portal again! Beware of vendors selling their properties through these portals as there seems to be no due diligence and in our case, they were complete time wasters.

Jul 25,2019To be honest, I was expecting a basic ‘no frills’ service...but how shocked was I!!! My contact was Jason - whom I can only say took my house sale as a personal mission, true attention to detail and sooo helpful from start to finish. He really exceeded all my expectations in every way. There were a few minor technical issues to start with, but Jason dealt with them professionally and promptly - and with a lovely well placed sense of humour. Nothing seemed too much trouble for him and he always returned phone calls and responded to emails very quickly. In all I certainly and honestly believe I got far more than I paid for - I doubt I would ever use a High Street estate agent ever again. If I could give Emoov more than 5 stars.... I would!

Jul 22,2019Griffin have provided an excellent service for the fee charged. I can't fault this estate agent and definitely reccomend them. Very competitively priced, it's easy to manage your own viewings through the Internet portal they provide and are readily available via phone and email.

Jul 18,2019I went with Emoov because I believed everything I read online. When we finally got a buyer I was unimpressed with their lack of commitment or customer service at trying to move the day forward. Then one day they just disappeared without a word, I then found out just under a week later that they had gone into administration and there was no way of getting in touch with them. What made it worse is that they had not passed on my buyers details so we had no way of directly contacting the buyers. Our sale fell through which meant that our new house which we had hoped to buy also fell through. The icing on the cake was we still had to pay the money for it as I had gone for the option where with an interest free loan I had paid upfront, so had to pay the loan back. Trust me, it’s not worth the stress and disappointment

Jul 13,2019“WE” completed our sale yesterday and received an email congratulating us on our exchange… we did that 3 weeks ago, I`m still waiting for our Sales Negotiator Jason Burke to call be back with a response of our exchange and completion dates, a question which was asked 4 weeks ago!. I have given them 1 star and that is for their politeness when speaking to them on the telephone. We sold a property 3 years ago through Emoov and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish, we couldn’t fault their communication and their ability to make us feel valued customers, we had 11 viewings on that property and I made a point of asking them if their experience booking the viewing was ok and they were more than happy, so, on the market we are going again and we booked Emoov with no hesitation, not realising they are a different company!!! Because we paid before we were ready for the photographer, by a couple of weeks “I” had to keep phoning Jason to see if their system would allow him to book it in… Although we didn’t want a sales board the system always stated one had been ordered… We hit Rightmove and had a booking to view within 2 hours, this was not convenient and the only way to change this was by cancelling NOT re scheduling which meant the prospective purchaser had to book again, this seemed to be an issue, another booking was made too close to the one before and again we had to cancel, I asked Jason to call them and his response was they`ll probably be thinking when they want to book it again, in fact they were telephoning Emoov and being told we were not on the market. Fortunately they were persistent and managed to make the appointment. The following day they were struggling to make an appointment for a second viewing, fortunately when I asked Jason to call them he did. Once Jason had confirmed funds, it appears that is the end of his job, thankfully the estate agent of the property we purchased Yopa, were fantastic, they were speaking to the other agents in the chain and keeping us informed every step of the way, I would highly recommend them, to the point of congratulating us when we exchanged and keeping in touch until completion. So, as you would expect I would not use or recommend Emoov in any way shape or form, there were other issues, but it really would feel like war and peace as the experience was terrible for 3 viewings and 3 months to completion.

Jason worked hard to get my buyer on the market and there property sold in days. My property sold in 7 days can't fault Emoov from the photographs to the floor plan, to there professional attitude towards there work. Like to say thanks to Jason in his hard work and being there for advice and guidance,and to Abi for being there at the beginning and helping with any questions. I recommend Emoov to every one used them once many years ago and we're fantastic then and even more professional and dynamic now well done Emoov team.
