Terrible company. Useless. Promised us weekly updates on the market. Never came. Promised us details that we updated about our property would be transferred to the website. Never happened. Had to be chased every time to make updates. We had our property on the market with them for 5 months, not ONE viewing. Avoid. I have sent the property details to emoov in response to their request. The reason that they can't find my details is that my wife commissioned them. This is a genuine review from a deeply unhappy ex-customer.
Emoov are the WORST company I have EVER dealt with . Very helpful up to the point of securing your money, then have absolutely no interest in what happens next. I was advised by my local contact to get my daughter to refer me as a friend so she would get £100 reward and I would get £100 fee discount. She did this, we have proof, as I have kept every item of correspondence we have exchanged. 5 days after the reward was due to be paid they sent an email saying unpaid rewards needed to be claimed by the end of the month as they were changing the scheme. After countless emails, phone calls and requests for an online chat session ( promised callbacks never received) they claimed never to have received the referral, despite the proof we had. Then having been fobbed off for over 3 weeks, and passed from one department to another, we finally get told that it's now too late to claim the reward that we should have received automatically. Their fault, not mine. But they won't pay up, despite my mention of Watchdog. I've ended up using them as a platform to access Rightmove, to get a decent photographer and to book viewings online. I wrote the full description myself as theirs was a two sentence generic joke. Absolutely disgusted by the way they have treated me as a customer, and upon selling I have bypassed them completely for fear they would lose me my buyers and delay the sale. They are a bunch of greedy cowboys, who basically take your money and run. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. UPDATE: I received a same day response from Emoov about this review asking me to contact customer enquiries with my details. I did this immediately. 7 days later I'm still awaiting a response. Don't be fooled into thinking they are trying to make amends. They obviously aren't.
They sold me a arm and leg about their service and how helpful they can be. To be honest, you also know that you would have to do a bit of chasing, but Emoov have been a joke of a service company. You can't get hold of anyone to take a call to help or sort anything out. I've chased and chased with maybe 30-40 calls a week and no return calls from the office. Then they say we are happy to refund 1/5 of your fees and close the account. I feel we have lost two sales, maybe due to Emoov's lack of service and also we lost to buy a few properties, plus wasted money on their fees. They are not sure of the package they have sold you, so you need to chase them for any extra paid for. I had ask for a single person to do all the viewing for us and paid the extra. Still had to do the viewings at the beginning as nothing was sorted. Half way down the line they changed the viewing person without telling us. my wife with our 3 year old son were terrified when a men came to the door, trying to enter for a viewing at 1800 at night, even when we said no viewing after 1700 on weekdays. This was not acceptable, to have to let a stranger into your house without any details from Emoov. After a few calls, she was able confirm the identity of the man, but even then it took a while as Emoov didn't know what was going on. We have tried and tried to chase to sort this service out, but get a closed door all the time. Not one member would like to talk about the issue over the phone, we get as far as leaving a message and no return call back. STICK TO LOCAL AGENTS, I KNOW I WILL FROM NOW ON.
I was apprehensive about using an on line agency but having researched many options I choose Emoov. Navjeet explained the process and gave us the confidence to proceed with our sale. The photographs presented the property in a very good light.The team were professional and efficient responding to queries and viewings in a timely fashion as was the sales negotiater. We sold in the first week to our second viewer.
Shocking level of service from the point of view of a buyer, would give 0 stars if I could. Complete and utter lack of communication and professionalism. Arranged a second viewing of a property we are in the process of purchasing only to find out after having spent time and money travelling to the property that the vendor was not expecting us and had told emoov to cancel the viewing a few days before. The only communication from emoov was an email at 10.01am on the day of the viewing which was arranged for 10am to say that the viewing would not be going ahead. Completely unacceptable!
We booked Emoov to manage our sale and booked the pay on completion package of £1495 Communication was ok they sent a (professional photographer) ? which in fact was an ex estate agent Ok so pics not so bad but had to return to take more because the bathroom was forgotten!! We had a number of visits which was good no communication from Emoov, one of the viewers made an offer and was informed by Emoov we accepted after a second visit which we arranged ourself with the prospective buyer because the could not do it with Emoov switchboard workers only so had no idea what was going on,however the sale was made,and communication was re-established to say an offer was made,we accepted and now they want to charge me their revised price of £1995 NOT GOOD PRACTICE to offer one price and change it when someone has signed NASTY GREEDY USELESS COMPANY.
Do not care if you sell or not. Terrible customer service. Once they have your money, they ignore you. Wish I hadn't chose them to sell my property.
My experience to this point has been excellent. After having met with a couple of High Street Estate Agents for valuations i booked one online with emoov. I was contacted promptly the following day and met with Andrew VOS. Andrew was very impressive and took considerably more interest in the property and local area then any High Street Agent i had met. He even recommended minor cosmetic changes (advice that i have since taken). I was given an honest and informed valuation that i trust, even though it was the lowest. Andrew followed up with a media visit and took excellent photo's that i am delighted with. He has also been available by text or phone, often into the evening with any questions. Having such a motivated and professional person behind the sale feels like a real plus. He has left me feeling completely confident that i am in safe hands and that i made the right decision. We met with our agent on Saturday and chose the upfront payment package. We had some concerns that by paying upfront we would not get the level of service we may need afterwards. These concerns, however, were unfounded. The photos and floor plans were completed on the following Tuesday, we were listed on Zoopla/Rightmove by the Friday. Three viewings in 4 days and a purchaser who offered full asking price. What else can you ask for? It was easy to control your viewing times, the text messages to fix a viewing appointments were easy to manage. Our agent Maz was available out of hours and more than willing to help with any questions we had. I have no regrets with going with Emoov and have saved up to £11,000 by using them.
The experience was overall extremely efficient and we sold in days ! Sarah-Jane our sales progressor was friendly and very helpful, a real pleasure working with her. Less can be said about the people around her who don’t pass on messages.
The simple fact is these friendly people are contactable out of office hours. I can't tell how wonderful and reassuring that they are. I felt very well looked after by Diane Bainbridge, Estate Agent, and Sarah, from my DEDICATED house selling team. Sarah was in contact with me every week to tell me how things were going from her end and I could tell her how things were at my end. Fantastic, helpful! We have had a positive experience using emoov so far (we are still going through the selling and buying process). Mark Higgins has been excellent, and has made the process very easy to sell our home. He completed everything that was required for our property to be listed in a very quick timescale, and soon after being on the market we sold. Mark has always been on hand and has been very easily contactable with any queries we have had throughout the whole process so far. We have been very pleased with the level of service and the user friendly website.
I have bought and sold 6 houses over the last few years and always used a high street agent until this move. I can honestly say that I will never used a high street agent again. The process has been smooth and we have had lots of viewers and the email/text booking system is excellent. Simple to use and to confirm or change appointments etc. Sure, you have to do a bit of the process yourself,chasing up and showing the viewers around but I have always had to do that with any agent I have used. I would recommend Emoov to anybody but one thing I would suggest is do not use the in-house conveyancer. They have recently merged with Tepilo and adopted the PPL conveyances. My daughter used them and it was an absolute nightmare! Emoov as a company are fantastic and if you have any niggles along the way, remember you would have them with a high street agent but you are saving so much money,in our case the saving compared to using a high street agent was just over £7000!

Great service and very efficient portal, easy to use and a great idea.
Waste time and money... No viewing, no active communications on market feedbacks, etc, since I paid the service fee. I guess that they don't give much effort as they have any additional incentives on selling the property. I asked to return the keys of my property and they told me that they were unable to contact the person who got the key of my property. It would have been better if I use a big and reliable property agency in such tough market situation.
Abi has been great keeping track of our sale and keeping me in the loop of what is going on. The emoov dashboard gives you control around your advert and is easy to update and see performance on Rightmove etc

Nov 17,2018Myself and my partner were selling our houses at the same time to move in together. He used the traditional route of a local estate agent and solicitor, I used Emoov and their dreadful legal company, PCS legal. It took me 1 year to sell and complete (17 weeks to complete with PCS legal, freehold and no chain on either side) it took my partner 6 months. It was twice as stressful to sell my property than his. You do have to do everything yourself unless you kick up about it. I was promised on numerous occasions that specialists would get in touch to chat about why I wasn’t getting viewings but didn’t get the calls. I started getting a lot more interest once I took my own pictures of the property. Ryan Smith was a godsend to me and someone I could contact and rely on getting a response and results. I would give him 5 stars but the overall experience wasn’t great. DO NOT USE PCS LEGAL.
