Nov 11,2024ESE are your old fashioned style company in respect they go above and beyond to ensure all your needs are fulfilled. But they are also a company that has its finger on the latest technology. ESE took over the maintenance on my solar panels when my previous company went bust. So ESE now ensure all the panels perform to maximum capacity. This includes the inverter and meter. Currently I don’t have batteries (my choice), but ESE have given me a competitive price and when installed, the extra batteries on my system won’t increase the monthly maintenance fee.

Nov 11,2024I have edited this review to reflect the fact that ESE have now resolved the issue with the electrical installation of our system. It has been rectified to a high standard and this has restored my confidence, not only in our solar system, but also ESE. In brief, the installation of our system, which was unfortunately done by sub-contractors, recently almost caused a fire. It was confirmed by a fully certified electrician (independent of ESE or their contractor), that the installation was not fit for purpose, posed significant safety risks and was the direct cause of the fault. ESE's Quality Surveyor has been to our home since the incident and had to re-wire a significant part of the system again as there were other issues with the original installation. The standard of the work done by ESE's installer was a massive improvement to that which was done by their subcontractor. They have now sent all the installation certificates etc for the new works and they have sincerely apologised for what happened. I have made the regulatory body (NAPIT), aware of the standard of work left by the subcontractor. They are currently still investigating. I hope action is taken as I wouldn't wish this to happen to anyone else. Overall, despite a little hump in the road, I would recommend ESE. All the equipment provided is good quality, they are nice people to deal with and I'm sure the system will be a good investment for my property for (hopefully), many years to come.

Nov 09,2024The call came out of the blue to renew the insurance on my solar system. I was happy to do this but then I was offered choices of time lengths with discounts and felt under pressure to make an instant decision where I would have liked time to think about it and discuss it with my husband. An email with the information and giving forewarning of the phone call would be very helpful

Nov 07,2024The ESE engineer arrived for the appointment on time, introduced himself by name and with ID. He politely placed overshoes over his outdoor shoes and explained exactly what duties he would be carrying out. On completion of the annual service check he explained what had been carried out and helped with advice on the operation of the app.
