Jul 01,2024Had solar panels installed in May 2024- more than 6weeks ago. The sales/ installation etc all ok, no particular issues. A few issues since - the installation team got the app sorted on our phones etc ok, but at the time it is difficult to know what issues/ questions we may have. Ever since we have been trying to get in touch with them- the only way to contact is through ESE website and raising a ticket if the AI generated chat cannot give the information! Even then, all correspondence is through emails. Cannot get a person to talk to / ask questions which is very frustrating! Response time for emails although it states within 72hrs, is usually about 5-7days! Tried the sales people- no use. Advised contact head office -0151 665 0498, no option to chose technical team to speak to - directs you to the website again! Things ESE don't tell you when you get solar installed- The Flexiorb(which was sorted very quickly for us) and DNO(Direct Network Operator) letter needed to get paid for exporting power to grid can take anything up to 3-4months I am told- it is beyond the control of ESE! I have no way as a customer of checking if ESE have submitted the forms necessary to DNO or where we are with it- you just have to wait! More than 6 weeks since installation, we are still waiting. We export plenty of power during these summer days to the grid with no return! Would be useful to know if anyone else had similar issues.

Jun 28,2024Very pleased with prompt installation, and we got more than the initial survey indicated. I noticed a discrepancy which indicated that one of our batteries was not charging, and to be fair, ESE did come and sort it out - a small miswire on installation apparently. Very happy with our system and their follow up.

Jun 27,202427/06/2024 Great service, quick and clean job. Very pleased with everything Update 29/08/2024 Sadly I need to update my review that was originally 100% positive. I had my solar panels done the 2nd of June and everything have been easy and precise until the time I had to get the paperwork to apply for SEG (to be paid for energy production). I am still waiting and chased a week ago with no response. I am saving money with the daily production and the batteries in summer, but I wouldn’t have proceeded if I knew I couldn’t get registered for SEG, without it is not worth it.
