Bought a house with one of these smoke alarms installed. In 2019 it started crackling. Called and got a replacement out no problem. Fantastic! Cut to this month, the alarm starts going off full blast every night. We try blowing dust out of the censors to no avail. Today I called to get a replacement but was told we couldn't have one unless we have paperwork to prove that the alarm was in the house when we bought it. How on God's green Earth are we supposed to do that? Funnily enough the homeowner didn't leave a fire alarm receipt with all the legal documents. So now we need to buy a new one but I won't be buying a FireAngel one because replacing a smoke detector twice in 5 years is not normal. Looking at other reviews (be them positive or negative) it seems like a lot of other people have had to send off for replacements too.
Herr Christoph Pfaff hat unmittelbar auf meine E-Mail geantwortet und technischen Support angeboten. Der Feuermelder war innerhalb der Garantiezeit ausgefallen. Inzwischen wurde der Fall ohne große Probleme reguliert.

alarm came with a 10 year warranty even got the date of expiry on the back which is October 2028 !! and batteries have failed contacted them they asked for original receipt who keeps a receipt for that long for a smoke alarm!! the date is on back what more do you need big con will buy battery ones in future

A replacement smoke alarm had started continuously going off after only 6 months since the original one broke (and no amount of vacuuming, blowing through with a hairdryer etc would fix it). I called customer service and was asked to email a copy of my original proof of purchase and photo of the unit. Nikkita immediately authorised a replacement which I received a few days later. I might not have had much luck with the smoke alarms themselves but Fire Angel’s customer service is excellent.

I moved into a flat with a Fireangel smoke alarm - complete with bespoke fitting - already in. When the battery alarm starting going off, I saw that it said you could not replace the battery, So I called "customer services" who could not have been less helpful. They said I needed a proof of installation (apparantly the fact that it was in my flat wasn't enough!) and that the warranty had expired so there was nothing they could do. Meanwhile I've got a beeping alarm that I can't just throw away and they could not care less. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.
This is the second time I have had to contact FireAngel, for different products, and both times I have received 5 star customer service. Sophie was extremely helpful and resolved my problem very quickly.

Après avoir acheté deux détecteurs de fumée FireAngel dans un magasin de bricolage près de chez moi, j'ai dû faire jouer la garantie, suite à des piles usées prématurément. Après plusieurs échanges par mail (qui ont un peu duré du fait d'un problème a priori dû au transporteur), j'ai finalement réussi à obtenir l'envoi de deux nouveaux détecteurs grâce à Madjid, du support technique.
