Jan 01,2022Had a call today 1st Jan 2022 from Dr Patrick Lennon this was to get advice on our new Cavapoo, "Olly" Patrick was fantastic he put us at ease and assured us that our dog would be OK. I was asked if I had some pictures I coukd send for assessment which I did and was asked to show Olly playing and I checked his gums and gave feedback to Patrick I was reassured he was not dehydrated by carrying out a simple test whilst Patrick monitored this I would highly recommend this service. Dec 31,2021I had to book an appointment on Mon 27/12/21 with Dr Lopez. My dog had been suffering from a gastroIntestinal upset and was poorly. Dr Lopez was amazing, during a face time call she diagnosed Barney’s symptoms and pointed me in the right direction to get his medication which I purchased within an hour. Remember, 27/12 was a bank holiday and most places closed. Barney improved immediately; fantastic service and thank you! Catherine Boles

Dec 25,2021Første juledag og kun dyrelæger tilgængelig på et stinkende dyrt tillæg på et par tusinde kr. Har firstvet igennem forsikringen og tænkte at give det et skud. 8 min senere havde jeg en dygtig flink dyrlæge igennem der svarede på alle spørgsmål og beroligede os det sagtens kunne vente til en hverdag. Absolut ikke sidste gang vi bruger tjenesten 👍

Nov 14,2021Vad är detta för låssas tjänst? Bortkastad tid att ringa för att få råd att ”åk till veterinären”!du kommer inte få recept via denna tjänst oavsett vad! Detta är en tjänst som inte behövs i Sverige. Ta kontakt med veterinär direkt i stället, spara tid/pengar och lidande!

Nov 13,2021Spild af penge. Jeg snakkede med Firstvet i går aftes da min hund havde fået øjnbetændelse. Lidt i ti skrev jeg, og jeg kunne få en tid kl 22:30, men inden jeg fik tilmeldt min hund var jeg blevet rykket til kl 22:45. Da jeg har ventet de 45 min og kommer igennem, snakke jeg med en dyrlæge 5-7 min. Og får lige så lidt ud af det, som før vi havde snakket. Hun kunne jo ligesom ikke sige hvad det var, eftersom hun ikke kunne kigge ordentligt i hans øjne, kun kunne sige hvad der muligvis kunne være galt, når en hunds øjne er røde og hævet. (Det var det sammen som jeg kunne læse mig til på deres hjemmeside,og mange andres hjemmeside) Og så kunne hun sige, at jeg kunne jo vælge at kører til dyrlægen med han, eller jeg kunne lade være og håber det var bedre i morgen.... Okay, den havde jeg nok også regnet ud. Så spurgte hun hvor jeg boede så hun kunne finde et nr til en dyrlæge hvis jeg valgte den løsning, det var så et af de nr jeg selv havde fundet i de 45 min jeg var i kø til video opkaldet. Da samtalen var færdig stod jeg ligeså uvinden, forvirret og frustreret som før jeg snakkede med dem, bare 450 kr fattigere. Kunne aldrig finde på at anbefale Firstvet til nogen.

Nov 09,2021Firstvet is fantastic. I didn't have to pick my dog up and take him to the vet. The vet managed to see him on the video call and diagnose him properly. She was really kind and lovely. Saved me a lot of time and worry. Thank you!

Nov 02,2021I've had 2 consultations via video through Waggel, and both were really helpful and saved me paying for my normal vet. I thought a video call would be very basic but both times I hung up feeling like the consultation was very thorough and satisfied with the advice given. A perfect alternative to going out to the vet clinic and can also advise if this is necessary which is really useful to have.

Oct 27,2021Kan slet slet ikke anbefale jer nok. Det er en fantastisk mulighed altid at have en dyrlæge ved hånden når man er bekymret for sine dyr. Kan lige give ro i sindet når man er bekymret ( og redde børnenes nattesøvn 😉 ) De sidste par gange har vi talt med Karen. Yderst sympatisk, sød og dygtig. Vores varmeste anbefalinger

Oct 17,2021This service is a life changer! It came free with my insurance and I was sceptical to say the least. I’ve had a few issues with my pup whereby I have called the vets immediately but in this case on a Saturday at 9pm I thought I’d give FirstVet a go. I had a call back within 30 minutes, I spoke to Dr Cathy who was amazing, so personable and lovely. She had a good look at my pups eye (as well as you can over a video call) and gave a few differential diagnosis’ and suggested that unfortunately I should attend the out of hours vet practice for further investigation. She was very calm (I’m not sure I was) and reassured me that eye problems are very common in pugs and that it’s best to get it seen to ASAP. I attended the practice who diagnosed him with a corneal injury - Dr Cathy’s diagnosis was spot on! I cannot thank you enough, realistically if I hadn’t have called I probably would have waited until I could get an appointment in the week (my little boy didn’t look unwell just had a few odd symptoms) and things could have been so much worse! This service is honestly worth it’s weight in gold! Out of hours it’s £30 to call firstvet for advice/to put your mind at rest and it’s at least 5 times that to see a vet in person! Thank you so much for your help!

Aug 29,2021Really happy, actually able to really spend time working out when symptoms appeared, where/ environment etc. Due to covid and dogs getting handed over at the door, Im just not getting the time with a vet at my local surgery to look at real cause of problems and ended up with antibiotics that wernt necessary, the FirstVet I spoke was really brilliant, and happy to go into detail and properly diagnose an allergy. Very happy and relieved. Very happy my pet insurance Bought by Many pays for this service as part od my cover. Excellent combo :):)

Aug 27,2021I just paid 65.00 for a vet consultation. It first showed 7:45 today and then it changed to 6:45. And I have not received any phone call. Do I have to file a claim with the attorney general to get my money back!!!!!!! I am in the United States I need an answer tonight!!!!!!!!

Aug 08,2021Ich schreibe sehr selten Bewertungen, aber hier muss ich einfach. Wir waren zwar mit unserer Katze schon beim Tierarzt, aber das ist immer ein Trauma fuer Tier und Mensch. Die Unterhaltung mit Fr. Buhlig war sehr angenehm und sehr freundlich. Wir konnten alle unsere Fragen stellen und bekamen Antworten, die es im schnellen Tierklinikbetrieb selten gibt, auch tips und tricks. Wir, Katze und Menschen, sind sehr sehr froh ueber das Gespraech und werden sicher “wiederkommen”. Nur zu empfehlen. Ganz vielen Dank.

Jul 26,2021We have an 11 week old pup who was extremely lethargic and wasn’t eating/drinking... we were very concerned but equally didn’t want to waste anyone’s time! However, we get free vet calls with our insurance and were so lucky to have a video call with Dr Cindy who helped us thoroughly check Maisie and most importantly reassured us that we had done the right thing and she is absolutely fine. Dr Cindy gave us some advice which has worked and Maisie is back (about 80%) to her normal, playful puppy self! Dr Cindy is so lovely, kind and genuine. Couldn't recommend this service enough as well as this particular vet. Outstanding service.

Jan 10,2022We have the use of First Vet for free as part of our dogs insurance. We've used it a couple of times and always had a great experience. It gives peace of mind and helps us to know whether we can manage a situation ourselves or whether we need to consult our vets in person. Excellent.
