Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.
Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

Nov 28,2024TERRIBLE!! Absolutely appalling, Firstly the driver damaged our 3 month old brand new house due to them not complying with the “two man lift” health & safety for a heavy product. After raising this with Furniture Direct Online and being promised a resolution 2 weeks later and over 50 emails being passed from pilar to post we still have no solution. The company are dismissive and DO NOT take accountability for errors made. Multiple false promises of a solution and multiple promises of updates and all of these failed. The company refuse to give me the details or hand me over to a “manager” it’s completely dismissive and unacceptable. I have over £200 worth of damage to my home right before Christmas it’s shocking. I have never in my life dealt with such an unprofessional company, i am shocked of all the positive reviews (I imagine staff have created accounts to post fake reviews) if your looking for your home to be damaged, false promises to be made then I absolutely recommend this company. I work for a multi million pound logistic company and I would never expect my customers to chase a resolution that’s not down to the customer. The impact this has had on my mental health is real I cannot express how angry and dissatisfied I am after a £2000 order. In response to the comment I chased you everyday for a response, I liaised with the courier and ultimately you refunded the delivery fee back to the finance company and the courier provided a gift card.

Nov 22,2024Editing to add I have been asked by the company to remove this review and give them chance to resolve. Even though this has been ongoing for 2 weeks. Edit 2, they are now trying to remove my review through trust pilot for defamatory comments. Luckily I have all the proof to show I am not lying with the 50+ email thread we have. I must say the quality of items are good. When you actually get them. But the delivery? Absolutely appalling, the items all arrived later than stated. The courier companies they use to deliver are shocking and a reflection of the standards of furniture direct. They have damaged our property, they couldn’t figure out which delivery company they had used, they have left us to do all the chasing and are now ignoring calls made by us. If you want professionalism and competence this company is a straight up avoid. They don’t know they’re a**e from their elbow. Customer relations are just empty promises

Initially contacted them by email with some questions on the Thursday evening, they replied first thing Friday, ordered by lunchtime, delivered on Tuesday morning. Fantastic sofas and perfect for our limited space. 3rd party courier was polite, prompt and totally respective to our property. So far our experience has been excellent and would recommend Furniture Direct Online.
