Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.
Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

Dec 17,2024Had my lounge suite delivered, very happy with it however one part of the set was black instead of grey, contacted customer service and lovely person called Rachel was incredibly helpful. She sorted everything out for me with no hassle and my grey part of the suite was delivered and the other collected. Story does not end there however, I had left my iPad and two kindles in the console of the returned sofa. Rachel was immediately on the case and again managed to get my tech items returned to me. Rachel went above and beyond to help me and spent a lot of time making calls on my behalf to have my items returned. Thanks to all her effort I have my items back with me. I cannot praise Rachel and Customer Service enough, best customer service I have ever dealt with. Truly excellent, delighted customer

Dec 15,2024I love my sofa! So I can’t lie and say I was not worried about ordering and ending up with a rubbish sofa due to the prices being so cheap. So I went down to the showroom to see the quality first and the staff was fine with this and was very helpful. I was NOT disappointed. All the sofas were amazing quality which gave me confidence in ordering mine and I am glad that I did! 1- I have I saved myself hundreds of pounds. 2- I was told delivery would be week commencing the 16th December but it was delivered a week early on the 11th and was placed in my livingroom by the delivery drivers. 3- the customer service is amazing as I had been messaging via what’s app before even visiting the showroom and they always replied. 4- sofa was delivered, was unsure on where legs went as no instructions or pre drilled holes so I messaged on what’s app and they sent me the instructions on a photo straight away. I have had so many compliments on my sofa and I would definitely recommend furniture direct online to anyone wanting a good quality sofa that’s affordable, because let’s face it them 2/3/4grand ones from the big sofa places are way over priced! Thank you so much and when I want a new sofa I will be a returning customer ☺️

Dec 14,2024I had my Belgravia sofa delivered this morning. I am very happy with the sofa, it is stunning. It fits my home perfectly. Customer services were always happy to help if needed. I was worried buying a sofa ‘blind’. But it has come just as expected. Only downfall was the delivery, when ordering it did state ‘delivery within 5 working days’ however, it turn out that my sofa would not be available for 4 weeks. I was happy to wait and it was worth the wait. I would just advise if you are ordering a sofa in a hurry, check delivery times! I would 100% recommend this company! :)

Dec 13,2024I'll start with the one thing I wasn't happy with and that was the 1 month delay. I was told week commencing 12th Nov however in that week I was told it was delayed and would now be week commencing 9th December. However from the minute it reached their warehouse house the service was very quick and efficient and it was delivered by 9am the very next day. The sofa itself is massive, great quality and in perfect condition. All in all I would recommend this service but I would be a little wary about waiting times if I needed something in a hurry.

Dec 11,2024Would 100% recommend this company. We bought one of the U shaped velvet plush sofas and I am over the moon with it. Super fast delivery, I received it in a week and a half from Ordering. The delivery men were fantastic and polite. Quality of the sofa is amazing.
