Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.

Jan 05,2025Having to write a second review after failed attempts at a reply from customer service bought the Sloane corner sofa and arm chair roughly 8 weeks ago one of the arms on the chair has dropped inside corner sofa one arm also has made a cracking sound with very little pressure used to get up of the sofa corner sofa had also made a cracking sound when my 12 year old daughter sat on it did get one reply asking for photos tried to explain that the sofa is black you can’t see the damage but can feel the dip when you run your hand over the affected arms haven’t heard back since poor quality sofa poorly made lovely to look at but overall cheap quality for the £1400 and odd price paid for it …..if someone would like to contact me back from customer service to resolve the issues I would be grateful thanks

Jan 05,2025After ordering what i thought was going to be the tech 8 sofa from another supplier and then they turn up trying to fob me off with something that was nothing like it as you can expect i was very disappointed. I didnt accept the sofa and had another look around and found furniture online stocked the tech 8 so i gave it another try and the whole service was second to none, they dropped the correct sofa off in as new condition in the room I requested too. Highly recommend

Dec 28,2024Was kept up to date with delivery time, as there had been a cancellation they checked to make sure it could be delivered earlier than expected. Product arrived without assembly instructions, however I sent a quick message and a youtube video was sent through showing what needed to be done.

Dec 24,2024I got a 2+3+1 recliners, the 2 recliner started to crack AFTER my years warranty ran out, it got worse and then the button to move recliner up came out of position so we have to hold it in to move it up, only 3 adults live in house and 3 people that work everyday including weekends and this happens, so contacted them and they weren't interested in helping even though it was JUST over the year, the 3+ 1 are fine so it must have been a flaw in the 2, but nope not interested in helping, I mean come on a recliner breaking just after a year really!!! I know where i won't be shopping ever again so make sure you all take insurance out cause I wish I did after just a YEAR!!! terrible service from this place! Got their money so that's it.

Quality in the sofa is top class comfortable sturdy.there is other companies selling dearer and less Quality as a frend used another company was £200 more and the quality was poor. I'm in Glasgow and was told a few weeks for delivery and came when said it would be hear. Great customer service called me a few times.my first sofa was 3 years ago and still good condition. Great company all together very impressed

I was skeptical when ordering a sofa online but I needed it quickly and this was the best website I came across with decent quality looking products and great reviews. Very glad I chose to order from furniture direct. Sofa came on the day quoted and the driver called 30 mins ahead of arriving at the house.

Dec 19,2024First I spoke to a representative on WhatsApp regarding delivery and was extremely helpful. Ordered online and was delivered perfectly a few days later when I requested. The 3 seater cinema sofa is excellent, looks and feels quality. Everything works heated seats, electric recliner and vibration. Very happy and recommend to everyone.
