Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.
Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

Dec 09,2024We got a great deal on our new sofa set, they do say that the more you pay the more comfortable, well not in this case. The recliner we bought is fantastic and comfortable. And the colour is great. Delivery was also very good and very prompt.

Dec 08,2024I brought a sofa back in April time. I ordered due to the fast delivery time, and it came around 2 weeks later which was ideal. However, once unpacked the footstall had a stain on. I was given money off due to this, which I was happy with. However, now we are in December and the sofa really is not the best quality. The cushions sag and feel like you’re just sat on the base of the sofa. The base of the sofa also makes a noise when you sit on it, which shows it’s not the most sturdy. Which you wouldn’t expect after 8 months of light use. I had a second hand DFS sofa of a similar sort and it was still so comfy 3 years later! I wish I’d of waited the longer wait time from another company. If you are looking for something quick then this company is ideal, but it’s not really a great investment as I am probably going to have to get a new sofa at some point next year :( I brought the U Carnaby sofa.

Dec 07,2024Great deal on 3 and 2 seater Orlando recliner sofas, and they look amazing in my new cinema room. No instructions but easy to assemble and all looks to be very high quality and comfortable. Helpful customer service too, so happy to recommend.

Dec 04,2024The sofa is lovely. But the scheduled delivery date didn't happen which had meant I have lost 2 days wages as I had to take more time off to wait for it to come. Also I understand the feet not being already fitted onto the sofa but there are no holes to guide where to put the feet. Other than that I'm happy with it.

Dec 03,2024The company are dismissive and DO NOT take accountability for errors made A charge of £49.99 was made just to 'click' the two pieces of the furniture together, just like 'Lego' It was a windy delivery day and some of the protective wrapping was left to blow around the street and pieces were left in my home

Dec 03,2024One star is generous. Waited in all day for delivery of two sofas. Received email conformation that my sofas have been delivered. Looked on proof and shows a bed (not at my house) and a signature/ name of what I presume is another customer. (This isnt allowed for data protection). Tried to contact customer servies just to be told they will look into it. Contacted the 3rd part courier who said nothing can do as its signed for. Sofas finally delivered at 2030, crazy time for a sofa. Courier just carried sofas in and left. Did not unpack either of the sofas. Couriers were rude as well. I suggest you use a different courier. Will add furniture direct did try to sort the delivery confusion out

The sofa it’s self is fantastic the only let down is the delivery team I believe a third party don’t seem to care but as to furniture direct brilliant I would give them an overall rate of 95% change the delivery team to someone who cares and it’s an easy 100%
