Dec 24,2021We are very pleased with Good Life Loans and Dave Schulte. When we first started the process, I was nervous and thought do I have the right loan company. Can I trust them? I didn't know anything about them. I'd called 3 banks and a loan company in my city just to learn there wasn't anyone here who did reverse mortgages and I didn't know where to go next. So I turned to the internet and started looking for companies that did reverse mortgages. I contacted one company but they put me on hold for 4 days.. During that time Dave Shulte contacted me and the process began. He put me at ease with the whole process. He was very kind, and patient with me. He was very informed and was able to answer all my questions and never made me feel as though they weren't important. No matter how many times a day I called him I was encouraged to call and ask. He would always return my calls quickly. Dave is very knowledgeable, respectful and able to answer all my questions Today we closed on our loan. We are so excited and happy. From the first phone call to the loan's completion has been much quicker than I thought it would be. It's taken about a month, and we attribute that to Dave Shulte.

Dec 18,2021I have contacted Good life and Dave Schulte was referred to me by a friend, he has explain to me every question that I have, He is very good in returning my calls, and he very prompt in sending me an e-mail for a paper works to be sign, and in just a month not even a month my Reverse Mtg. got closed. I am very please with the way it went. Thank you very much Dave No doubt I can refer him to some senior Citizen friends who want to do the Reverse Mtg.

Dec 17,2021My loan is a Refinance, so I have been through the process before. Ken was very postive all the way, however I started to become anxious when my file went to another department in the Home Office. They seemed to want to find ways to "not do" my loan, even after the apprasial came in over projection! I believe a reverse mortagage is to make life better for seniors, not more difficult. All's well that end's well, thanks to Ken holding my hand.

Dec 17,2021Today we closed on our Reverse Mortgage only two and a half months after contacting Goodlife! We had previously started the application process for a reverse with AAG last March and the nightmare began! For seven months we were given the run around, calls and emails weren't returned and we were contacted repeatedly to confirm information for which we had provided documentation months earlier. It appeared that AAG did not have enough experienced agents and the ones they had were always rushed and not paying attention. After cancelling our application with AAG we had the extremely good fortune to find Dave Schulte. Not only is he very professional and conscientious he answered all our questions immediately, with no pressure, all the while giving us his personalized attention. Dave made us feel like we were his only clients! We heartily recommend Dave Schulte's kind and considerate attention for anyone considering a Reverse Mortgage! You won't be disappointed!

Dec 08,2021If we could give 100 stars we would! We first decided about three years ago to try and obtain a reverse mortgage on our home. After many hours of research, it looked like it would be a good fit for us. Now we needed to figure out who best could help us with this process. Again, after much research, we reached out to a lady named Janette Heyl, who at the time worked for another company, It quickly became apparent that Janette was not only knowledgeable in her field, but also able to explain the entire process to us in terms that we could understand. On top of that she has a super personality and provides exceptional customer service. By the time we closed, we knew we had a new friend in Janette. Fast forward to 2021 when we decided , because of rising home values, that we would refinance again into a new reverse mortgage. We quickly realized that Janette no longer worked with the other company, Oh no, what are we going to do?! After a lot of online searching, we were able to find Janette with GoodLife Home Loans. We contacted her and realized that the time spent searching for her had paid off. Again, she handled everything in a prompt and professional manner. I had the good fortune to be connected to Mr. Kenneth Craynon, and he quickly began assisting me in beginning the process. My situation presented him with quite a few challenges, but he very patiently continued to help me, and he was always very supportive. He always promptly returned my many calls, and he maintained a positive and optimistic attitude. I found that Mr. Craynon was very knowledgeable about the reverse mortgage process, and he carefully gave me guidance as I progressed through the many steps that were required. I was very happy to actually be approved for this reverse mortgage, and I feel certain that I might never have gotten it without Mr. Craynon's much-needed help! I'm very grateful to Mr. Craynon and to GoodLife Home Loans. I would happily recommend Mr. Craynon (and GoodLife) to anyone who's seeking to get a reverse mortgage. Dec 02,2021I am a senior citizen age of 75 and widow, I faced the most terrible experience in the refinance of reverse mortgage service provided by the agent ( Jeanette Trudell ) California, I hustle four months with her to complete the process, she was rude, unpolite, even had the courage to hang up the telephone on me three times when I tried to understand what she exactly want. I end up cancelling the refinance with Goodlife Home Loans, after I signed the final closing documents, because of her and the game she played by sticking in the final documents a term and a condition in the interest rate and the available fund quite different than her proposal and against our will. I believe the upper management of the company should monitor her practice, because she might used same tricks with other senior people and that will hurt company reputation.

Dec 01,2021Short and sweet of the whole experience. Working with Janette Heyl has been nothing short of professional and more than pleasant. Janette was more than patient with my lack of knowledge in reverse mortgages and took the time to explain all that I questioned, that is not an easy task with me.... she pulled it off. She is most honest and upfront. I've had less than pleasant dealings with other RM lenders at the same time working with Goodlife. Ms. Heyl stood out above and beyond other lender representatives.
