The Technical customer service has given me the details as to why I am not getting full speed? It was the ethernet cable which is cat 5 only which I used to link with rest of the house network. Just tested a cat 5e which enabled the speed I was looking for. Just got a call from Grain customer service and I have informed them that by doing this I have the speed but setting other systems in the house to see if I can get the full speed. It's a pity that TV manufacturer like Hisense don't do gigabit wired connection. I've only been with Grain for almost a fortnight and yhey called to ask and I know if I call they would be at the end of the line and not like my previous provider. Who do it on an app. So far So Good. Hopefully I'll be able to get the full speed all the time. 🤞
Appointment was between 9/1 h came just before 9 which I was really happy about as it means you're not sitting about waiting.pleasant lad cleaned up after himself.

Great wifi company ! The wifi works around the whole house which I’ve never had before with any other wifi company.
Worst Internet supplier I've ever been with.Considering all the wiring is outside my house, the WiFi is always dropping and there's no signal upstairs.My son has to use the ethernet to be able to connect to his pc upstairs otherwise he can't access it. 'm constantly using mobile data at home because Grain is useless.Cant wait for my contract to end with them,I will never be going back.
I am shocked hav fas wifi but the signal is no good up stairs so or in my back room hence I am cancelling it on Monday morning

Temporary trying grain after an absolute nightmare with EE. So far so good. Really fast speed, every piece of kit is able to connect. Grain you need to train up EE to your standards. By the way did Masi ever get that raise?
Was connected today with no issues and all is up and running, the engineer Oualid was very professional and respectful of my home, very nice guy who did an excellent job inside and out, thanks Oualid.
Since I moved home and was told that this Internet provider would be who I was dealing with, I hadn't heard of them before. Since I have with my wireless connection, I have to say, I have only had minor flaws, that was quickly resolved and both customer services and IT support was very helpful and fixed those problems out for me. Otherwise I also have been warned when there is going to be updates to their systems and when this would take place through the night, which was helpful knowing when they would maybe, be down. Would recommend them.

We've had Grain for about 8 months now, I think, and it's been superb. We've probably only had one drop in service, and we were notified straight away by text, and kept updated. My son works from home, so it's crucial that we have a fast and reliable Internet. We've got that and we're very happy.

Dec 09,2024Installation was relatively quick and easy, connection is probably better than my Virgin one was especially on uploading. I have had two questions for customer care and the first one was answered immediately, the second is a little more complicated and I’m still waiting for an answer (question asked 2 hours ago).
