The engineer Oualid who installed grain was really friendly and made sure I was happy at each point of the installation and was very efficient. Such a lovely person and a credit to the company.

All contact with this company has been positive throughout. From the opening enquiry through to final installation, the process has been faultless. It's been a pleasure to make telephone calls to a company who appreciate the benefit of UK call centres with regard to their customers. All calls have been backed up with clear text confirmation particularly beneficial when discussing financial details. With regard to the actual installation of the replacement WiFi, the engineer was exceptional in every respect. I can thoroughly recommend Grain Connect.

Had it installed yesterday by Christopher, he was absolutely lovely. Arrived on time, was happy to accommodate our wishes on where the cable went and tidied up after him. Very patient with us on our complicated demands and kept his sense of humour. He was a joy. So far so good with the instal. Grain have kept us up to date with e mails through the whole process.

Just had our installation. Installation guy was amazing and kind. Very quick compared to our previous net. Internet was working instantly our last one we had to wait 3 hours for our old provider to turn it on. Our old provider charged us over double grains prices for less Internet and 9 time out of 10 it didn't work. So far my experience with grain has be a very good experience.

Appalling service we had the 1gb package installed on 5th nov within hours of the engineer leaving we had issues wifi no where near strong enough just wouldn't reach a few rooms away we have had other providers with the router in the same place with no issues at all speeds so low you couldn't get on youtube called the office tried a few things to solve which didn't really work. Then at 11pm the internet cut off we had to manually turn it back on off at 7am to get it on !called the office was told we could purchase wifi extension for £30 which i didn't believe was fair as we had existing providers who reached those areas and they said they had no idea why the broadband was turning off .We asked to cancel as this really wasn’t Upto scratch and were told there would be £40 charge within the cooling off period 2 days later on the 7th again the broadband went off at 10pm we had to go down turn it on off again abysmal service We will be reporting to ombudsman as this is unfair not the service anyone would expect at all !

Asking for an upgrade got a good price the customer service was second to none the engineer arrived promptly at 0920 helder P was his name. The things that matter is customer service.they should send some of the staff from my previous internet company being virgin media how to speak to customers.lastly I would like to thank everyone at grain who listened to my sadness thank you again

I've had a very good experience with Grain. The full fibre gigabit connection is extremely fast and stable with low latency, and the engineer that installed it at my home was efficient and did a tidy job with no mess. Customer support is top notch. If you just need nice fast Internet for streaming, etc., it's great. I use a CAT6 Ethernet cable for the best experience. My only gripe would be lack of IPv6. The FAQ says Grain are working on adding IPv6, but it has said that for years, so it doesn't seem true. You're on a CG-NAT IPv4 only, meaning you share one IP with your neighbours and you cannot port forward. This gives me a lot less control than I used to have with other ISPs. I understand with the amount of IP address space left that this has to be done, but to some degree it defeats the purpose of having a nice fast upload speed when you cannot host servers. IPv6 would alleviate this and should be a priority, as I got IPv6 with other providers years ago when I needed it much less. (So I got IPv6 back then with Sky and Be There before that, even though I had a much slower upload speed, and had NAT controlled by my router at the time, with ability to port forward, not behind a CG-NAT like Grain.)

Customer service good to deal with - quick, efficient and knowledgeable staff. Installation engineer arrived on time, very friendly, neat work and tidied up when finished. Internet was connected instantly. Very happy so far!
