Directors Oliver Bush and Adam Shaw wanted to create an Estate Agency that offers clients a personal, face to face service with creative marketing whilst still offering good value for money. Promising to personally deal with all aspects of selling your home from start to finish.
Adam and Oliver have worked within Estate Agency for over 25 years, covering the east Reading area, with the last 12 years primarily concentrating on Twyford and the surrounding Berkshire villages.
Grapevine believe by offering fair fees, that include FREE professional photography as standard across all properties, clients finally have an alternative, affordable option when selling their home.
Grapevine are also members of the Property Ombudsman Scheme, whereby a code of practice for Residential Sales must be adhered to.

Dec 05,2020We chose to place our house sale with Grapevine because they offered us the most professional, convenient and sales-oriented pitch for our property - and then they went above and beyond! I said they'd set themselves a high bar by valuing the house higher than other local agents - but they were confident, and they delivered. We had a constant stream of viewers and a few offers (which started off as not very realistic and Grapevine were keen to advise that they could achieve more). Then, after we accepted an offer STC, they stayed involved along every step of what proved to be a long and complex sale (because of huge solicitor problems). During an exceptionally busy time for them, they provided us with every reassurance and assistance, and all worked out very well in the end. Seriously, Adam, Ollie and Holly were so much better than we could even have imagined, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend them.

They kept us fully updated with progress and we’re very effective in all aspects. We had a number of estate agents to choose from and had been unsuccessful with previous attempts. Even during a very difficult time (Covid pandemic) the grapevine team remained positive and it made little difference to their ability to make successful sale. They are positive and enthusiastic to deal with , calls are returned and I was kept informed of developments as they happened and by a weekly update call. Once my house had sold, their communications with all parties helped smooth things to completion. Grapevine are very good at selling houses.

Dec 01,2020This should have been a very quick and easy transaction with a very small simple chain, unfortunately this was not the case. The biggest praise I can give to the team at Grapevine is that without them this would not have proceeded to exchange. Many times I was ready to throw in the towel but the guys keep me going and eventually we exchanged. Their communication really is second to none. If you are looking to sell then use these guys

Grapevine were also selling the house we were purchasing and they were very honest and helpful especially when at times there were difficulties. Communication was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend Grapevine to anyone selling their home.

Nov 16,2020I would highly recommend Grapevine as an Estate Agent having just completed on my purchase. Ollie was my main point of contact and great throughout. Excellent communication throughout and always on hand and quick to respond to queries or sort any issues. He has a great knowledge of the property market which gives you confidence. Additionally he is not a typical "hard salesman". He is very personable and consultative. In addition where I dealt with other members of the team, I found the same high standards - Holly was friendly and knowledgeable and Adam again was friendly, knowledgeable and rapid at responding. There is no doubt that with all the hurdles of Covid and ups and downs of the process, that this would purchase would not have happened if it wasnt for the team at Grapevine. 5 star service!!

From the outset Oliver at Grapevine was fantastic. His advice was sound and his enthusiasm knew no bounds. . Holly took amazing pictures of the place and no surprises .. it was sold within a week. Amazing! An outstanding job by the team! Knowledgable and reassuring Oliver makes you feel at ease with the process and between himself and Adam they manage everything for you... including your wobbles, nerves and frustration because let's face it.. it's one of the most scary but exciting times in anyone's life. They were very on the ball with every stage, they kept us updated and seemed to have excellent communication when needed with the mortgage provider and both sets of solicitors which resulted in a smooth sale and very little stress on our part. We wouldn’t think twice in calling upon them if we were ever selling our property.

Oct 17,2020We started our move before Christmas and were approaching a move date when COVID hit! The guys at Grapevine couldn’t have done more to make sure the move went ahead, even providing guidance to the guy at the bottom of the chain who’s own estate agents appeared to have abandoned him! We eventually moved mid May and I’m not convinced that would have happened had we used anyone else. On the more normal side of moving the entire team at Grapevine were always polite, professional and helpful. They did everything they could to ensure realistic expectations were set on costs and worked hard to achieve those expectations. At the end of the day we sold our house and bought our dream house during a very challenging time so I really can’t fault the service we received. I would have no problem recommending their services to anyone who is selling and/or buying in the area - a great bunch of guys and girl with a very friendly approach. Thank you all.

The house was put on the market with speed and the photographs were of excellent quality. Oliver kept me informed of every viewing and gave clear and constructive feedback each time. After the house was sold Adam kept me fully informed of the sale progress.
