Jul 21,2021Great service. Friendly and good contact. A bit of a hassle s I wanted the guitar shipped to a different address but i can understand their reasons for security. They were helpful with it though. Guitar arrived in excellent package/Gibson box. No complaints and would use again.

Jul 17,2021Guitar Village 5 stars Delivery company 0 stars Guitar arrived one day late with no contact until 19:30 on the arranged day when the tracking simply changed from "Before end of day" to "Tomorrow, before end of day" I had been looking forward to my new Gibson, the whole experience ruined and the only way to recapture that "buying a new guitar Buzz" was to reset and start again so I rejected the delivery mostly through anger. I found out from the delivery driver who tried to get me to accept delivery the next day that the delivery company routinely load onto the van more units than the driver can possibly get delivered in a day. So not the drivers fault, not Guitar Villages fault but definitely something that needs to be stopped. If you happen to live at the back end of the route it's always going to be you and this has indeed happened to me before more than once though I can't remember whether it was the same company. I have decided that on expensive items if they fail delivery without contact I will reject the delivery when it finally arrives. You see it's not so much the failed delivery as the failure to notify. I believe that they must have known before 19:30 that they couldn't get to me, a simple email saying sorry, we can't get your package to you until tomorrow would do. I'd still be po'd but not anywhere near so angry! In any case I will never buy a guitar online again because of this experience ! I will not go through that again. When you spend in access of £1500 you expect it to be right and rather than use a cheap delivery firm I think the option to pay for a better one yourself could be offered. On a positive note Guitar Village did not quibble and accepted the return and my money was back in my account within 48hrs. So I thank them for that and if I were in their area I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again but no online guitar buying for me any more.

Jul 02,2021Electro-Harmonix Double Muff - Great Fuzz effects pedal! - Very small footprint, not much in the way of controls but sounds great and easy to use. I expected it to sound good with my Valve amps, but was surprised how good it sounds with my Roland Micro Cube and a friends 30W Orange Crush Combo (which doesn't have a very good distortion channel IMO). Delivery was longer than stated, but it did arrive undamaged. 5 stars for the Muff, 3 stars for delivery.

Jun 18,2021Guitar was 1 day late on delivery but I was told of this. Arrived in perfect condition. Not sure when strings added but string layout very poor. Had to restring to get it right. Due to a design fault in string holes that I was not aware of. Godin at fault on this. Guitar Village all good. Many thanks.
