May 16,2021Went to guitar village again today , purchased a lag acoustic served by Richard very funny guy excellent banter ,great service in my opinion the best guitar around , highly recommend can't wait to go again,thanks Ian.

May 14,2021made a mistake of purchasing a guitar that did not meet a very particular requirement on size. The guitar itself was faultless and I not already have a had a superb guitar would have kept it. So to cut a long story short, GV were great. I drove down to return the guitar and spent the morning choosing a suitable replacement with the guidance of Richard. In summary great customer service, beautiful guitar shop full of tempting electric and acoustic guitars. Would thoroughly recommend.....

May 12,2021Absolutely superb service. After being lay down several times by a major high street music store. I found the same guitar at the same price with Guitar Village. Included was free 24 hour courier. And the guitar has a check list attached completed on the day of dispatch. Couldn’t be happier. Will definitely recommend.

May 10,2021I was initially wary of buying an acoustic guitar online as there can be many faults even on new guitars, however i read the reviews for Guitar Village and decided to take the plunge..!!...It was a wise move...the guitar arrived very promptly and the guitar itself is amazing...neck relief, action and finish were absolutely spot on...best two grand ive ever spent..!!... from my experience I can highly recommend this company and would definitely buy from them again...once ive saved up..!!.. The photos of the actual guitars on the website is a great tool so you can see exactly what you are purchasing. Bought and arrived the next day - free delivery. Would highly recommend this company

May 02,2021Purchased Gibson G-45. The order (including financing request and approval) took 5 min. Guitar delivered the following day. Same one from pictures. Perfect set up. Everything absolutely perfect! I think the guitar is going to stay with me so I guess I will not be able to review return process!! :-) About the guitar: I already have a Lakewood D-1dreadnought and a Martin 000-15S. Sound is completely different. Super powerful and bright. It doesn’t has the bass response of the Lakewood or the Woody tone of the Martin but this gives me a wider range of tonalities. It’s great for strumming and also fingerpicking and great for open tunings. It’s true that initially it sounded super bright and with huge trebles to me but once I get used I realized it’s quite balanced but really really bright. Also a note for the woods: that walnut looks simply amazing. It’s really beautiful. My only “cons” are actually visuals: the tuners work perfect but I’m not a fan of the kidney style buttons. And thinking about replacing the pickguard by a J-50 style one.

Apr 30,2021Quick delivery and well packaged. I chose Guitar Village because they set up their guitars whereas most guitar suppliers don't even take them out of the box to inspect them. I have ordered guitars online on previous occasions and sent them straight back. This one isn't going anywhere. Straight out of the box, plugged in, quick tune, perfect. I definitely recommend Guitar Village and will buy from from there again 👍👍👍

Richard was excellent in getting back to me quickly with the offer and was very professional, he made it a smooth and pleasant transaction during lock down. I was able to pop in to collect my pride and joy and to drop off my pieces, super service would highly recommend GV.

Apr 24,2021I bought the best guitar I have even owned here, a Fender Custom Shop '60 Heavy Relic. I was left alone with a few guitars and an amp in one of the timbered rooms and took my time, all the time in the world, and found my guitar. I asked for something to be tweaked to the action, and it was done, and then I bought it for what was a bargain price. Not only is it still the best guitar I have ever owned, it is still the best guitar I have ever played. We've all been to guitar shops where there are lots of people trying out gear, the usual Saturday morning cacophony, but this isn't that, this is grown up top end premises, top end range of instruments, top end service, at prices that compete with box-shifters. Several years later I still remember the day, simply because it was so professional in every respect. I doubt there is a better guitar shop in the UK, and if it wasn't 70 miles from my home, I'd be in here most weekends. Exceptional shop, exceptional service, and I say this with 40 years experience of roving guitar shops with GAS both in the UK and the USA. I have a Gibson Custom Shop '58 Les Paul, but it didn't come from here, and it isn't 'the one'. If I was ever to find 'the one', then I know that I'll find it here.

Apr 22,2021I have never purchased a Guitar online. I was a bit apprehensive. I phoned the shop and consulted with Mark. I wanted an Ovation and he was very informative professional and so helpful. Cheers Mark I decided to buy online and got it the next day UPS I was impressed. It was well packed no issues and is beautiful to look at and play. I got a price match over the phone and they sent me a free set of strings. I have to admit I have never given a review on here before but credit where it is due. Their web site is easy to navigate and when I rang them someone answered straight away. I only wish I was a better player than I am Thanks Derick (Manager ) Your staff do you credit. KC
