May 24,2024First of all, I am a student nurse I had an ethnic rhinoplasty 9 months ago with this clinic. I felt that I experienced racism during my experience with the clinic. I experienced severe bleeding after the rhinoplasty and yet I was discharged improperly without correct dressing care on a Sunday when they know very well all pharmacies are closed. This could have led to me developing a serious infection such as sepsis because I had to use toilet paper to dress the wound, or even fatality if I didn’t use the toilet paper to suppress the bleeding. (For those who don’t know this is a big no no because toilet paper is not kept in a sterile or clean environment and also because toilet paper separates into tiny particles when wet and these can attach to surgical sites and bacteria can fester causing infection) It was incredibly unkind of them, I was not treated as a human. I had to threaten to take them to court before they re admitted me. Interestingly enough, when I asked for my medical notes I didn’t see an accurate reflection of my health deterioration in the notes. They made it appear as if I was fine for discharge and then the prefuse bleeding started in the hotel but no the nurses were aware of the prefuse bleeding at the time of discharge and they discharged me anyway. Then when the surgeon came to London and I had a review I experienced racism again. I have an Asian friend who also had rhinoplasty with the surgeon and we went together for our review appointment. Even though I arrived on time ahead of my friend she completely ignored me, focusing on her giving her a huge hug asking so many questions about her nose. She didn’t even remember me. This was incredibly hurtful to me because I was so happy to see her and it reminded me of the first time I met her and I was so happy to see her and she didn’t smile to greet me it made me feel like an inconvenience. The fact that she couldn’t remember me when she doesn’t do a lot of ethnic rhinoplasties and I had complications after is disturbing to me. I was charged £2990 for my surgery even though I’ve never had rhinoplasty before and yet I personally know of 2 non black people who both had rhinoplasty or even filler and you charged them over £1000 less than me. Also, I am a student nurse I have worked in acute medical units. None of our patients experienced the after surgery hypothermia that we all experienced in your clinic. I spoke to several patients at your clinic whilst recovering and all had the same experiences. I’ve spoken to medical professionals here in England who have confirmed hypothermia after surgery is an abnormality and shouldn’t be happening as often as it does in your clinic. My gums were hurting for an entire month after the procedure and that is likely from the shaking of my teeth chattering whilst laying on a cold table for hours. To top it off I went to a private rhinoplasty doctor in a top London Bridge clinic a few months post op and he confirmed I have a severely deviated septum, with a high probability that it was created during the rhinoplasty and not after or before. Again, I mentioned this to the surgeon during my review she was dismissive and had a brief look up my nose and that was it. I would have expected for her to have her tools with her so she can really have a look and examine before giving a medical opinion. Honestly, she took more time to look at my friends nose even though she did not go for a second opinion and was not informed of any issues with her nose. All in all, I would say that I prefer the nose she has given me to the nose I am born with. But that is all I can say. I am 9 months post op and honestly my nose looks as though it will stay like this and not go down to the size of my table picture which was so pretty. I am not yet a qualified medical professional so I cannot give any professional opinion. However I will say in my personal opinion that any black person who goes to this service is risking their life based on the experience I had. In my opinion as a second year student nurse I believe I could have died due to improper discharge and therefore I would not recommend any person of African descent to Gözde International Hospitals. It is a pretty hospital but there is no point going to a snazzy hospital if (in my opinion) they put your life at risk. I hope that you as a clinic can learn from this experience. Thank you

May 24,2024I would love to highly recommend my favourite hospital ever 😘😘😘😘😘😘 The most amazing team I have ever meet The most amazing people I ever met Everybody were so lovely there: doctors, nurses, cleaners and my lovely coordinators: Yunus Emre Ekici 😘 and Selin 😘 they both came to visit me 2 days after my surgery I had the best care I could ever wish Can't wait to visit this beautiful place again in few months time See you soon lovely people Cheers Marta

May 24,2024I had my surgery on 7th May at the premium hospital. Dr Arslan was my surgeon. He was amazing. Operation went well and he repaired a hiatus hernia I had. This was only found after my endoscopy. The pre op tests were extremely thorough. Much more than you would receive in the UK. My coordinator Busra was fantastic. She answered all my questions, extremely quickly and sorted out my change of hospital with no hassle. The whole package was amazing and I would recommend coming to this hospital. Transfers and hotel were fantastic. Everything ran really smoothly. The care in hospital by the nurses was amazing. Meds given promptly and very efficiently.

May 24,2024I had a gastric sleeve here in premium in may. Everything was as described. Going to theatre awakes a little scary but it’s how they do things. Dr arslan is amazing so caring. Piril very helpful.. replies very quickly. Even booked my nails in for me bless her but was too unwell to go. Thanks for everything x

May 24,2024I recently accompanied my son to Gozde premium for a gastric sleeve. We were appointed Alp as our coordinator. Alp was in contact with us every step of the way, answering any questions we had regarding the surgery and also very helpful in regards to Izmir itself. The surgery was performed by dr. Mehmet deniz and the care and information we received was outstanding and second to none. Alp checked on us several times at the hospital to make sure all was ok, and has also been in contact since our return to the UK, which we appreciate so much to know that we are not just a statistic!All the team involved with my sons well being were amazing and I can not thank them enough, and would certainly recommend them .🙂

May 23,2024I went to izmir hospideal the 26th march and had my op done the staff were lovely room was clean and everything ran smoothly I had dr aslam him and his team made me at ease my co ordinator mert organised everything helped me with flights and dates and gave me all my information and helped if I had any questions was really happy with how everything went

May 23,2024I can say nothing but positive things about here....Busra Turhan from day 1 has been so patient and informative on anything and everything I needed and can't thank her enough for that,even the aftercare.The hospital was 5* also,so clean and all the staff was just so friendly and understanding.Massive thank you to Dr Ahmet Ascioglu for changing mylife although it's still only been a couple of weeks,I'm healing so well and seeing the amazing results every day that passes. I would recommend GOZDE to anyone and everyone 5* from me x

May 21,2024From start to finish my experience has been fantastic, firstly I got put in touch with my co ordinator Alp, what a gentleman, kind, positive, supportive, and absolute true gent, he helped remove all worry and stress that I had about going, once there victor and the team did a really good job on continuing the support Alp had given me, the surgery team were amazing and I felt I received a top class service, the after care was top notch and thorough I never felt anything other than important during my visit. If I had to do it again I wouldn't think twice about going to the ozel saglik A******* from me

May 17,2024I was a companion for my daughter who had a gastric sleeve. I’d broken a tooth on the plane from the UK eating a boiled sweet and was complaining about it when the coordinator came in to see how everything was going. He mentioned there was a new dental service next to the hotel we’d stayed in on arrival in Turkey and arranged for a consultation. I’d been quoted nearly £900 in the UK as I had to go private after lockdown (long story) so when they told me I could have all 4 fillings for £260 and composite I had to do it. It took a very long time but they were thorough and when the local anaesthetic wore off I had a bite issue so they took me back and sorted it no extra charge. Everyone was so nice only downside is I left my daughter in a foreign hospital on her own which was a bit selfish of me 🥺

May 17,2024I had a gastric sleeve done by Dr. Mehmet Deniz. I am now on day 12 and very happy .. Piril my coordinator is amazing and so sweet she is checking up on me from Time to Time and she answers every question I have ( and I have many 😅) The hospital is beautiful and everyone speaks English that's nice and comforting. The staff is also very nice and attending with every need and question there may be. The deluxe hotel is also very pretty and in a very good location. You can take your walk down to kemeralti market or down the street too kordon where you will find all the cafe's and restaurants.. you can order soups also 😄 I really want to thank everyone that has been by my side through out this journey 💖

May 16,2024I’m 6 days post op from gastric sleeve. The pre operative tests were very thorough and I was found to have a hiatus hernia and gallstones plus a few other things which have never shown up here with my own gp despite regular blood tests and complaining of abdominal pain. The experience was great, Dr deniz and his team were excellent and I would highly recommend. Can’t wait to see what this journey brings. Thankyou
