Mar 13,2024I just want to inspire others that are on the fence. I had my operation 4/3/24 and eight days on everything is healing well. I got on the scales today and I have lost over a stone in weight. I haven’t got any pain, I do not miss eating massive meals and I do not feel hungry. I am hitting my protein targets at the moment. I had Dr Eyup Yeldan in economy, and despite them not telling me this in advance, he speaks amazing English and has a lovely bubbly personality I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. Absolutely zero regrets. My coordinator, Busra Tuhran,was fantastic throughout the whole process and always comes back to me with answers to any questions I had.

Mar 13,2024Absolutely best decision I have ever made! Outstanding service from all at gozde hospital, carinf and well trained staff throughout my stay. Always felt comfortable and cared for. No surgery complications and 1 week post op. Staff was easy to communicate with and companions got looked after too. Nothing was too much trouble. You can research as much as you want but what you need to remember is everybody bodies are different, you are in safe hands at gozde Izmir.

Mar 12,2024Very happy with my face surgery. I was able to communicate with English speakers on WhatsApp if i had any questions they would sort it out and were very responsive . The hospital was exceptionally clean. The Hotel was also spotless and very comfortable I would highly recommend Gozde Hospital to anybody who is looking at Surgery abroad

Mar 11,2024Absolutely could not fault this hospital,went Premium and they couldn't do enough for me,always checking on me if I needed anything.My coordinator Batuhan Yetki was brilliant. Any questions I had he answered them ,he went through everything step by step,he also came and visited me after surgery and wasnt a quick visit ,he came and talked to me,if I had any questions I couldn't of asked for anyone better,thankyou. My surgeon Dr Ergin Arslan was so professional, kind,kept me upto date with everything he was going to do.Told me about the pre tests I was having,what would happen in surgery.He was amazing, he came to see me twice a day checked how I was if I needed any more pain relief,checked my tummy, drain incisions.So polite and caring,highly recommend Dr Arslan and Batuhan. The hospital itself was beautiful, so clean,staff extremely friendly always someone to speak too. Just couldn't do enough for me. Thankyou so much to you both and the rest of the staff. Xxxx

Mar 11,2024The whole experience was made easy due to my co-ordinator Ata,he was very helpful and did everything that was required, very efficient, nothing was to much to sort out. My surgeon was Dr Mehmet Kemiksiz,he explained the whole procedure throughly. After the procedure he came at least once a day to check on my recovery, couldn't recommend him highly enough. All the staff and nurses were very pleasant and helpful. Excellent service, I would highly recomend this hospital. Keep up the good work.

Mar 10,2024From the moment we booked our surgery to the week after being home we have been treated fantastic. If we had any worries Batuhan helped us and made sure we were happy and healthy. I was skeptical of going to Turkey for surgery but we were treated with the best care from the moment we arrived to the second we left. My mum and I had the Gastric Sleeve and it was sore but the staff were always there to help if you needed anything. Language barrier was a little tricky but the nurses overcame this by us conversing using google translate. Dr Ergin Arslan came to check on us every day after the surgery and answered any questions we had. I was very pleased with my experience and would recommend it to anyone but the gas pain is crazy but well worth the long term goal! Thank you very much to every one at Gözde International Hospitals Izmir! Especially Batuhan not getting annoyed with the amount of questions I asked and I am still asking.

Mar 06,2024I recently came to Gözde Izmir for gastric sleeve surgery. My coordinator was Piril and I cannot fault her at all she was amazing from start to finish. Would always reply to my questions and was very polite. My surgeon was Dr Arslan who again was amazing. He was so kind, very polite and well-mattered. I felt very safe in his hands. The staff at the hospital were polite and helpful. Some were working 24 hour shifts which I found at times was maybe too much as they seemed tired at times (rightly so) although they were always willing to assist. The hospital I stayed at had air con however, it was just blowing out warm air also so it made it really hard to sleep and I ended up going outside to cool down during the day/evening. The facilities at the hospital were average. It done the job but could do with some modifications (my shower leaked into my hospital room when in use). Other than the few issues with the hospital I cannot fault my experience. I highly recommend Gözde because the service was perfect. I have contacted my surgeon since my operation and he has been amazing and replies so quickly. Thank you Dr Arslan, Piril and all the nurses/staff at Izmir hospital.

Mar 03,2024Just been discharged and brought back to the Deluxe MyWay hotel before my flight tomorrow. Had my surgery on 29/2 at ozel Saglik Hospital with Dr Mehmet Deniz. What an amazing experience I have had start to finish, and I feel great !!! Victor for always being so attentive and running it all like a well oiled machine and the lovely Ceren who was just the kindest soul who also couldn’t do enough for you and keep us all so informed with everything , every nurse who were just so caring and made me so comfortable. Lastly the main man Mehmet Deniz you really don’t know what this means to me having this done!! I feel a cloud has been lifted from my head and I have the chance to have a better future. I have recovered so well in the short three days that have been after surgery and now sitting comfortably waiting to go home this hotel is beautiful …. Thank you thank you thank you 😊

Mar 03,2024Had an excellent experience from start to finish. From the moment we enquired about surgery we were allocated a coordinator Devrim Umut. Devrim was on hand 24/7 for any queries/questions we had. Never went more than 10 minutes to receive a response each time. Excellent English and any questions he couldn’t answer he got back to us once he had found out. He even made a special trip to our hotel to meet us after surgery. Thanks Devrim, you are a true asset to Gözde hospitals ☺️ also big thanks to Dr Yeldan and all the nurses and staff that contribute to the great care.

Feb 29,2024From the initial communication with Atakans my coordinator right through to being back home the service and care I have received has been outstanding! Atakans answered all of my queries with care and empathy. He definitely made the build up to the op far easier. Dr Mehmet Deniz is and outstanding surgeon who is exceptionally thorough. I would not of booked with anyone else. Victor Dr Denis’s assistant was also very thorough and met us as soon as we arrived at the hospital. He stayed with us through all out pre-op tests (which would cost thousands in UK) and explained everything thoroughly. I can’t recommend them enough! I’m now 8 days post op and feeling great!

Feb 28,2024I rarely share my experience on the internet but I am doing it today to thank Dr Mehmet Deniz the surgeon who performed my sleeve gastrectomy and Emre my medical coordinator and also hoping that this will help other people to make the right choice with Dr Deniz Mehmet and his amazing team. Since my first contact on November 6th, Emre who is the bridge between the surgeon and me has always been available by answering all my questions. There was no waiting list, Damla organized the logistics perfectly after I told her the date I wanted to arrive. Accompanied by my friend, we left London on February 16. We had a transfer from the airport to the hotel (large room with equipped kitchen, impeccable property...) and the next day from the hotel to the Ozel Saglik Hastanesi hospital where I was entitled to a series of pre-operative examinations. All my results were analyzed by Dr Deniz Mehmet before his OK for my operation. The post-operative follow-up was very thorough. Couples of pain the same day, then my friend was happily surprised to see that I was fine the next day. I had a visit from my surgeon during my hospitalization and I was delighted to meet Emre who came to check on me. I was even able to watch the video of my surgical procedure. The dietician gave me a booklet for nutrition and recommendations to follow after the operation. I was also given all the medications and vitamins to take for a month. The hospital rooms are spacious and very clean, there was a sofa bed for my friend and she had breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had a transfert at the hotel the day before we flew back to London on the 21st February. Honestly, my experience was very positive and even beyond my expectations. Thank you very much Dr Deniz Mehmet for your professionalism, you are the best, thanks to the whole team and especially to Emre for your availability and your kindness. Claudine G.

Feb 28,2024From the initial enquiry to the surgery and the aftercare. It has been amazing. My coordinator Atakan was available to ask any questions. And I mean any from medical to what my companion would expect. The co-ordinator was second to known. Instructions of what to expect we're very clear. The pre-op test were very thorough, so much so they have noted something my own GP hasn't. Everything was explained all the way through. The aftercare in the hospital was very efficient, nurses were always available. Information at the discharge meeting very clear. The hotel was very clean and comfy, again the staff there very helpful and polite. Now at home, I am still in contact with Atakan, who is still as attentive as before the op. Dr Mehmet Deniz was my surgeon and he is amazing. Viktor my in hospital coordinator made the experience great, being able to have a laugh when nervous puts you at ease. I would highly recommend this hospital, Dr and staff to anyone thinking of have a procedure.

Feb 27,2024I had done lots of research when looking to get a gastric sleeve and godze international stuck out to me the most. I contacted them and got a response straight away. I was given a coordinator Afaf. She made the whole process easy from answering any questions that I had to looking at the best flights for me. I could message her at any time and she would have quick replies. I stayed throughout at the deluxe hospital. I could also message afaf whilst in the hospital if I was unsure of something and again she would message back straight away. She also came to visit me in hospital after surgery. The hospital staff were lovely they kept on top of pain relief and if I needed anything they done it for me straight away. My surgeon Ismail yaman came to check I was ok each day after surgery. I would definitely recommend this hospital to have surgery done and I would go back there myself. Even 5 months post op I can still message Afaf and she will respond quickly. Thanks to Afaf and the hospital for making it a pleasant experience.

Both the hospital and the hotel are superb. From the first time I contacted them to make enquiries until now I have received the best care. I felt relaxed and at ease. They answered all my questions and I felt reassured. Thank you so much.

Feb 24,2024A company cannot survive on reputation of good surgeons alone. With that must come good customer service, transparency, trust and reliability. Sadly Godze have double standards and once they have your money do not honour their agreements. They want you to pay cash as THEY charge a 10% commission (which goes to the co-ordinator). When they refund you they state this has to be on a card…… go figure!? Going through surgery is emotionally and mentally draining. Not honouring a quote, lying about a refund and making a patient fight for what is theirs and was paid in good faith tarnished the experience. If you can book your surgeon through another provider please do consider doing this. Gozde are a disgrace

Mar 15,2024So far so good, My coordinator EFE, very helpful, fully informative, answered all my questions, just booked for next month with Dr Deniz so will update UPDATE: flew 16th April, op was planned for 17th, unfortunately I had a bit of tonsillitis left and they refused op ( risk of further infection) the kept me at the hospital for an extra 3 days and gave me antibiotics via drip, finally had my op on Friday 19th April, I didn't get charged for extra meds or hospital stay!. I had to change my flight of course. Nurses are lovely, and will use translator if needed. Medications was given on time before even asking. Food for companion arrived 3 x daily. Rooms lovely and clean. Wifi good. Some sweet shops and little food places nearby, ( I was Ozel Saglik- premium) Would be happy to go again for other treatment. EFE was ment to contact me again for teeth whitening. He didn't contact me once whilst in turkey so that was a bit of a let down.
