The delivery Team were valiant in their effort to ascend the three floors, tackling each step to reach my flat door. It was difficult and strenuous, they did not complain. The delivery team performed their work very professionally.

Nov 16,2022VERY slow and delayed delivery further compounded by poor communication from the courier and Harbour. If you want outdoor furniture for the summer, I suggest you place the order at least in November prior Harbour reply is disingenuous. I work in the global shipping industry and having them blame non-existent strikes on their delays is laughable. They did come up with a delay compensation however. Which was gratefully received. The reality is however, that their and their couriers communications regarding the delays were pitifully inadequate - twice in my case. Update - Harbour did indeed reach out to explain what went wrong and the measure in place to make sure the errors aren't repeated. Happy therefore to add 2 stars to my initial review. Good customer service in the end.

Nov 14,2022I placed the order on a Wednesday, expecting their 7-10 day delivery time. Was very surprised to get a message about an earlier delivery - was disappointed when that was then cancelled, so called customer service and they were extremely helpful - it appeared many customers received pre-emptive delivery messages from their delivery contractor. All was resolved quickly and a few days later (but still in the 7 to 10 day window) the table arrived. Great customer service all round

Nov 10,2022When purchased the item was out of stock and then delivery was delayed. We were kept advised of the revised delivery date and the item was delivered as promised. The pergola is of good quality and all parts fit well together. The item was very well packaged in a mix of cardboard, polystyrene with protective plastic film on every surface of the metalwork. The instructions were fine, the only issue we had was the fixings provided to secure the pergola to the patio. The hole required for the fixings required a 16 gauge drill bit but the slots on the fixing plates were narrower than this. We had to position the pergola mark the fixing bolt positions then move the pergola to drill the holes. Once the bolts were installed we then had to lift the pergola over the bolts before securing. The pergola is quite heavy when fully assembled. A better design for fixing the plates would be an improvement. Notwithstanding this we are very pleased with the finished pergola and have experimented with the different colours and patterns possible with the LED light strips.

Nov 09,2022Our item was not in stock at the time of purchase. We understood this but the date when it was due to be in stock did not suit us. I emailed them and they said it had been delayed anyway so not to worry. The new date came and went with no communication as to what the plan was for delivery. I had to email them to find out when we would expect the item. They replied saying it had been further held up and they would get back to us asap. I still had no communciation from them. I was offered a £100 compensation and told to wait. I followed this up with another email after still no date for delivery. They apologised and within a day I had a text from a courier saying they woudl deliver the item in tow days time. On the day I was expecting the item, the courier text me to say they had not received the item from the company and would therefore not deliver it!! I emailed the company....again. They said someone would be in touch. I missed a call from a withheld number (turns out it was the courier) she left a message saying please call me back on this number to arrange a delivery - and left no number!! I therefore had to have a number of emails and calls with harbour lifestyle to arrange a final delivery. There is NO WAY i would recommend this company - i haven't even opened the item yet as it is outdoor furniture and its now November! I just hope the quality if good or I will be returning the item. All harbour had to do was COMMUNICATE with its customers - you cannot tell a customer one thing and not follow it up if things change - its awful to expect the customer to come to you to sort something out. This wasn't a £30 pair of trainers this was nearly £2k of furniture and I expected much better service.

Nov 03,2022Ordered July 2022 when the website claimed the pergola was in stock. At no time did anyone tell me that it would not arrive until October. Additional entry since last review…. Harbourlifestyle’s customer service advisor G leapt impressively on my clearly ‘unsatisfied’ experience and kindly offered a small gesture of compensation for the inconvenience, which I accept. Thank you. On the product - it was relatively easy for 4 people to put up (in comparison with another model ordered by my neighbour, that is) and seems robust and well made. The ‘how to’ video is essential as you do have to line it up carefully for the louvres to work etc. It looks good from the warmth of our lounge and we look forward to using it next year.

Nov 24,2022First, I found the outdoor rug that I'd hoped to find but didn't elsewhere; in the order process, customer service was outstanding in accommodating an especially speedy delivery in time for an event; and last but not least, when I did have a small issue several months after purchasing the rug it wasn't an issue at all, the customer service I received in resolving the issue is what we all hope for but don't always get; I would not hesitate to buy anything from this company because they have demonstrated how they stand behind their products and it has been a pleasure dealing with them. Thank you Georgina!
