Took my money for 3 shirts .then said they didn't have one of the shirts they said they would refund for the shirt they didn't have, why take the money for the third shirt when they knew before they sent them they only had 2. Now I have to wait a week for refund, very manipulative, I would like to hold their cash for a week.
The response to my order was prompt. I was advised on the status of my order and offered a good deal on replacements for items out of stock.

I ordered a suit for a ceremony with a special discount offer but my package was never delivered. H&C declared the parcel lost and made no effort to arrange a new delivery and simply told me after 1 month that I would be refunded. So I didn't get my suit for the ceremony and have to order it again without the same discount. I called customer service, who told me it wasn't their problem and that I should complain to the transporter!

I ordered 4 of the Non-Iron White Twill Fitted Slim Shirt with (double cuff) on the Saturday night and paid the extra £5 for 24-hour delivery (Why not?) The shirts arrived first thing Monday morning at 09:30am in a professional Hawes & Curtis corporate coloured box, it looked fantastic. I tried the shirts on and they fit perfectly, the thick twill is excellently put together, the collars have stiffeners in them already and the cuffs are 2 size adjustable. I couldn't be more pleased with my buying experience and I'll be returning soon. Thank you to everyone involved in making my purchase with you a memorable one.
White City, Westfield branch's staff was very rude. The guy started finding me my size, showing me everything, but when he realises that I am in doubt that whether to buy it or not, he just left me. After I went to Moss store the staff was very helpful, polite and smiling. Probably, will buy from Moss soon my lovely suit. I recommend Moss Bross. P.S. I am independent customer. I just mentioned Moss, because I really went there and got what I need, and the service was good. Thank you
What a shame that customers can only talk to a "BOT"!! I was sent a referral voucher offering me 20% discount off my first order, which didn't work. I have tried talking to their BOT, which was useless, and I have emailed, but that has been ignored.
Why have you removed all your bigger sizes from your website and playing with people's time/mind on your small size. No one has asked you to do black Friday sales so if you can't reduce your shirts at this time like other shops, then please stop advertising and wasting people's time to browse through you small sizes sales shirts. I guess you are playing with people's minds.
Hawes & Curtis gave a convenient excuse that 4 shirts out of 8 (50%) I ordered are "torn" or "defective" within a couple of months were due to wear and tear because it is more than 28 days. Hence, we can imply that the quality of Hawes & Curtis shirts are not guaranteed beyond 28 days. While my TMLEWIN shirts of 10 yrs are still durable till date. Not a good experience as a first-time customer. No thanks.
I recently purchased a complete black tie outfit from Hawes & Curtis for my son and was really impressed with the quality of the garments as well as the excellent customer experience and service offered by the team in the Jermyn Street store. Special thanks go to Aleksandra for her expertise and delightful manner and to the tailor who adjusted the trousers to the perfect length.
My first purchase…. A merino roll neck sweater. Beautiful fit, wonderful quality and arrived very quickly. I am very happy with this purchase and the buying experience absolutely banging…
Call me old fashioned but taking a week and half to deliver a package in 2024 is bordering on the ridiculous. Giving off buying from a catalogue back in the 1980's. Be better.
Product quality isn’t great for the price. I paid around 100 AUD per business shirt (for 4 shirts) and several of them had buttons that fell off due to loose thread. The suit trousers I ordered also looked great initially but then the polyester lining started ripping. Also, the belt support bands had loose threads.
Purchased a suit, 7 shirts, a pair of shoes and a tie. Excellent experience, the lady serving us was absolutely brilliant. She was knowledgeable and very professional. Quality is really good Shirt sizes and sleeve length options were extensive. Wonderful experience, mainly due to the lady serving us.
Ordered 4 shirts and all were too small - ordered the same size I have had for last 15 years from Charles T. Sent back for an exchange for next size collar up but was refunded and therefore lost the postage and a handling fee. So I have no shirts and lost about £8. Was first told that it was because I did not put exact product code on exchange form (although it just asked for size, it was deep in T&Cs that had the stipulation for product code or no exchange). Then when I complained, I was told it was because they did not have that size. I asked for next size collar up and that does not come with same sleeve length, of course I would have taken the regular sleeve length for that size. Basically an overly complex system that so easy to get wrong for the customer. All I wanted to do was hand over some money and get 4 shirts, not have a long T&Cs discussion. It’s not like other businesses don’t do this better a seems a very short sighted approach. No wiggle room to waive any fees if I re-ordered, it’s or standard T&Cs so I decided to take my business elsewhere.
I’d like to share my experience with Ellie at Hawes & Curtis. She was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, Ellie was incredibly patient and attentive while helping my boyfriend find the perfect suit. She took the time to ensure he was comfortable with every option, never rushing or pushing us, and her sense of humor made the entire process so enjoyable. Ellie’s professionalism combined with her friendly, approachable attitude really made a difference. She is truly an asset to the Hawes & Curtis team, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!
So far, I ordered two fitted ladies' shirts from this company. They carry very nicely designed cotton, which, mind you, is very thin and not suitable for under a prickly woollen. But their sizing is terrible. I first ordered my usual UK size 12 and they sent me a 10. It sort of, fits. Second time I ordered a size 14, for a more relaxed look. I measured both shirts and they are THE SAME SIZE. This is no luxury brand when there's no difference between their sizes. Second quality products. Will not be ordering again. Shame Trustpilot doesn't allow photo uploads, because I took photos of both shirts on top of each other- the size 10 is actually slightly wider than the 14.
