Hireup is an NDIS registered online platform for people with disability to find, hire and manage support workers who fit their needs and share their interests.
Hireup is great at checking in on workers and ensuring our wellbeing is adequately supported. Hireup also offers an excellent app interface which is easy to use and navigate. I love receiving notifications on available jobs near me as this is very helpful and there are great resources available :) Adequate training modules are also provided, helping me feel more confident in the service I am providing.

Hire Up app is easy to use. I find I can plan my fortnight ahead and know who ill be working with and the tasks ill be doing each shift. The client profiles make sure I only take on the clints who live close and makes sure i only take on clients within my scope of work. The payment system is great, I know how much ill be earing each shift and for the fortnight, it makes working out my budget a lot easier. I get positive feed back from clints about Hire Up as they like they can pick the support worker right for them, also they like knowing how much each shift will cost them, so no hidden fees that didn't expect. Overall Hire Up has made a defiance to clints and support workers.

There's effective communication between me the support worker and my client as well as the office. Any challenge could be addressed within a short time. A lot of effort must have been put in place to achieve this.
I’ve been using HireUp for a few years. It’s great that they look after their workers and pay them superannuation etc. Billing is easy and accurate. Lots of good workers to choose from and find a good match. I appreciate the support from HireUp’s head office staff when I’ve run into issues, they are really good.
I find my experience with Hireup to be supportive when it comes to customer service and the Hireup platform is very user friendly.
Hireup staff very friendly and helpful
Every person i speak to is lovely and helpful. The only reason i took away 1 star, is because i called 15 minutes before closing on a Friday knowing i couldn't contact on the weekend, i was waiting till 15 mins after closing. So im guessing there was no one there to answer the call and im just sitting there waiting. However the customer service when u do speak to someone is great. Its not just an online platform, the full timers behind the scences make it feel like ur part of a sort of family work environment.

I was very hesitant about inviting a stranger into my son's life but the staff at hire up spoke to me several times until I felt comfortable and then tailored my search so that we got the right person for the job. We have found a great support worker. The Hire up team took me through each step from making bookings to editing and paying invoices. They are very accommodating when it comes to NDIS requirements.From my own experience it has been a pleasure dealing with them.
Really bad pay rates for hardworking individuals. In review of NDIS pay rates- hireup is taxing/deducting/exploiting large sum of budgets in ‘admin’ fees
Hireup bost that 83% of clients are happy with service. They certainly told tell of the 17% dissatisfied. Been with the company since 2018. Stopped using them in discuss. Since Covid they don't screen their employees as well. During radiation treatment I required additional support workers to cover the random starting times. Knowing the importance of assisting to and at radiation, all of the support workers arrived late for shift, between 10 and 20 minuites late and logged themselves as arriving on time billing the NDIS. One didn't show up at all for a 9:15 start, calling me around 10am to appologise she had "Slept In". as a result I had to taxi in and hospital staff met me at the entrance and gave full assistance, for FREE. For the remaining 6 weeks of radiation the hospital provided me with free transport and full assistance. It saved my NDIS over $800 a week, Hireup lost around $4800. The hospital staff did a better job than the over paid Hireup employees that arrive late for work and play with their mobile phone every chance they get. I've switched to another company. You also need to watch for over charging on transport. Their staff will log additional mileage at a cost to you of a ridiculous 98 cents a kilometre. When complaining of this, Hireup simply dismissed it sending me links to the Queensland Disability Advocacy Program, Fair Work Ombudsman, Australian Competition & Consumer Commission, Australian Taxation Office.
