Hireup is an NDIS registered online platform for people with disability to find, hire and manage support workers who fit their needs and share their interests.
I've been working under Hireup online platform since 2017 and have been very happy with all aspects. Highly recommend.
I would love to see families have access on the portal to progress notes or any notes that support workers have written about our family members they are supporting.
Reliability
Even the support worker didn't have experienced cleaning, she tried her best for the service. I apreciatte that very much.
You can choose your cares and make change’s of your choices
flexible supports that focus on what you need, rather than what others think you need, excellent online platform, saves me the paperwork etc having to employ my own staff. Like the transparency on wages and back up support to support workers if required. Have been with hire up for nearly 4 years and its really made a difference in being able to truly choose my own supports. Support workers who are allied health students seem to work really well for me
Easy to use when searching and also booking however if booked multiple bookings do one carer the system doesn’t allow to delete multiple dates it. Instead having to delete each one
50/50 chance of getting a good competent quality value for money support worker. Back-end operation is less than satisfactory with multiple SLA breached and poor interpersonal communication and solutions development. Also only answer half of communication sent. One time had a bossy manager tell me she’ll tell me when I’m wrong even when they were ill-informed, and miss-informed. Telling someone how to manage their disability when you don’t know them and participant is highly skilled is highly inappropriate! UPDATE: Lisa, thank you for your stock-standard response. If only it were that easy for someone from your customer experience team to contact me a ‘sort things out’… except it’s a very painful and protracted experience and that’s why I wrote this review when you asked for me feedback. So unfortunately you seem one step behind the process already!
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the realtime database access to support workers. Everyone is so friendly and keen to help where possible. I have nothing bad to say except they should really get paid more! 😁 Thanks hireup. Much appreciated.

The girls that care for my daughter are genuinely caring and considerate of my daughters needs and treat her as their very own sister. I love them sooo much.
I am very happy with the support from hireup admin team and very happy with my hireup support worker who accomodates my individual support needs. Trish has life/work experience qualifications suited and is a lovely lovely person. Hireup staff have been helpful with my tech posts, understanding my individual support needs to seek support out of my area. Thank you Michelle

I find the app easy to use. The training modules were very useful for information before I started work. I like the flexibility of casual shifts as I am also studying at the same time.
I was able to connect easily and quickly with clients, The help from Hireup is timely and the training is really informative and helpful. Excellent experience so far!
