Hireup is an NDIS registered online platform for people with disability to find, hire and manage support workers who fit their needs and share their interests.
Easy to use but I suggest you make a calendar view for booked item for a whole month.
I have noticed a big change in Dylan feeling more positive about where she wants to head with her future. More colour in her skin and just smiling heaps
the ladies I’ve meet have been so nice we get along so good it’s been really good I’ve still got more to meet but I’m hopeful there is more for me to meet and love being with it’s been great
HireUp has been very useful to find support staff for my son. Had used it for a couple of years pre Covid. Being in Melbourne for long lockdowns had to stop using it altogether for 2020. Now using it again and the staff are great. The website is really easy to use which helps a lot
I am grateful that hire up has made my experience easy to connect with people that can help me with my particular needs, it's easy to choose and find people in my area and to connect with them to explain what areas i need help with, it easy to look through the areas so i can approve and also contact people, thank you for helping to make this experience easies and let me be more in control of my decisions.
We are very happy with the wonderful person that is helping our son.
Found Hireup to be easy to join and navigate to find capable and reliable carers
Excellent service, very quick and easy booking and job performed well
I find that hire-up is a great company to work for, helpful with any questions or queries I may have. I am employed for the hours that fit into my schedule and clients schedule the clients are lovely and live in the country side as well as in the city. I enjoy my drive in the country the clients are checked prior to commencing at hire-up and after every visit I have questions to be answered about the visit and any safety concerns that have risen. I feel that my position at hire up is not a job but a social visit as we get along so well together it is like assisting a friend.
Good overall, however I think pay is a little low especially for all the appropriate certifications we have to pay for
A lift to the hospital. And help with some shopping. Friendly staff.
Good people and grate company
I was doing my First Aid course many months back when another lady attending said why don't you join Hireup. That way you only do what you are trained to do or comfortable doing. Well, since then I have done numerous support jobs and just today, I did a 2-hr gardening shift followed by a 2-hr cooking shift. I am now doing regular hours for this lady and her daughter and I love being able to help. I am getting the hang of how they like to have meals prepared and I absolutely made a mess of the mashed potato (on cooking day one) so that went to the chooks. This week I supplied the sweet and mashing potatoes (when I mess up, I pay up) and got it right except for the added salt. They are lovely people so if you are on the fence out there you will find helping others one of the most rewarding things you can do.
Please stop smoking
Love how easy it is to use and I’m so happy with the support person I have found for my daughter
The whole process was easy to navigate and to use. Help available when I needed it.
It’s a good service - most support workers get back to you - others dont even bother replying. HIREUP needs to get with the NDIS program and offer it to support coordinators who are trying to match people to support workers -very frustrating that you don't do it.
I am still new in this system . Am learning as I go . At the moment as far as my experience I think it’s above average. I’ll give further review after a few months if that’s ok . Thank you .
Hire up is a great way to find the right person for your needs in your area!
