Hireup is an NDIS registered online platform for people with disability to find, hire and manage support workers who fit their needs and share their interests.
I have had such great service as s support worker, everything is made very easy to get around on the platform which for being a bit older is great. I just love working for Hireup
There's always support when u need it. Platform easy to use .... I love this job like being your own boss and you do get a lot of self satisfaction from this job. Why didn't I do this year's ago. Thankyou
I’m a very qualified carer but am cleaning houses because my car insurance isn’t recognised by hireup It’s a fight for jobs and rarely do I get a response from client or their agents.
It has been amazing. Everyone I’ve have spoken to have been amazing.
I find the system works well most of the time; however, I sent an email some weeks ago and have never had a reply to it.
Good because I have found a way to work directly with the client. Thank you very much.
I am registered as a Support Worker for Hireup. The application process was relatively quick considering I applied during one of the most busiest times of the year (Christmas Holidays), it was simple and easy to understand what I had to do, I applied late November 2019 and it only took until mid January 2020 (6 weeks) for the entire application to be reviewed and accepted before I could start working for them. I like how there are steps listed in Booking History which get ticked when the task is completed e.g. when the booking was created, confirmed, reviewed, submitted and approved. I like the Dashboard Calendar view, it helps me stay on track. I like the updated Messages platform. I like how Hireup removes the need for a middle man, they do all of the behind the scenes work for you, you just have to submit your hours worked after you have completed a shift. As for finding clients you have to get a bit proactive, you get notified via email when there are new jobs available and if they seem like a good fit you can click on the 'I'm interested!' button to save it or you can send a message to them directly. I find sending a message much more efficient as the potential client can see your willingness and personality a lot better. I have only had one client who has actually messaged me first, the rest I messaged first, and I would say about 80% of the time I get a response back. I even got called by a Hireup Support Coordinator about a potential job in my area, which I didn't even know was possible, I thought you had to find jobs yourself so that was nice, but it has only happened once so do not sit around and wait for that kind of thing to happen. I am happy that I have the ability to pick which clients to work with so I can make sure that I am suited for the role, will get along with them, and are capable of performing the tasks they require so I can offer the best service possible. I enjoy the flexibility in the hours that I can work, though the shifts can be small (only an hour) at times depending on the clients needs, I can make it fit perfectly within my schedule. This is definitely not a full-time job but if you are proactive enough and have regular availability you can end up doing a lot of additional hours per week on the side of your main job. If you're lucky, you may end up doing things and going places you wouldn't normally do as well. I enjoy the clients, getting to know them, forming new relationships and like how I am making their life just a little bit easier in some way shape or form. The only negative thing I would have to say is that I do wish that Hireup had an App for more user convenience, other than that it is a pleasure working for them!
Very well run organisation. I can not fault HU on anything. I feel completely confident with HU process's and Le el of guidance/ support /education
I’m loving it I’ve always been a people person and the clients I have are really good and we have formed a friendship As I have said in the past I want to build up my experience dealing with all sorts of disabilities and it would be a good thing if Hireup had some sort of courses that you could do through the day or night to gain That experience and walk away with a certificate from the course in certain fields that way I will be more confident in dealing with certain people disability That mentally I can move forward positively And more confident but I’m not going to let that person down by making a mistake
Love this job! Love my clients!
I’ve worked for other organisations for 10 years and honestly the best thing I have done coming over to hire up. It’s a win win situation for workers and service users

No issues here
Simple and easy, also all my questions have been answered promptly.
a great way to hire, book and pay for support workers. Very quick to sort out any problems. I am very happy with the service
I absolutely enjoy the freedom of choice to pick & choose whom I would like to work with me. Your platform is easy to use, and I love that I can keep an eye on the hrs I’ve used the money I’ve spent.
Hireup is honest, thriving to make things better, easier, fair. They not only look after employee’s but also the safety of their clients. I think I have the best job ever. They try to the best of there ability to be professional and accommodate both parties. I am so proud to be part of an amazing company.
Professional, supportive and great training.
No real assistance to find a good support worker. Platform fairly average. Charging top dollar for a lot of people with no background just uni students on average.
