During the hurricanes of Helene and Milton I went to Destin Florida for work. I booked a room with the Regency Inn by calling the number on the website thinking it was actually the Regency Inn. Turned out to be this third party company Hotel Planner that didn't acknowledge they were not the Regency Inn on the call. When I got to my room, it was unacceptable being that it had bugs and looked like it was used before I checked in because of trash in the room. I instantly decided to not stay for my duration and cancelled my reservation on the very first night. I agreed to pay for the first night but requested a refund for the remaining stay. The actual Regency Inn manager issued the refund in front of me and told me that the money was sent to this third party company. This was the very first time I knew of this third party company during my cancellation process. Being on the phone with Hotel Planner I was told that a support ticket was sent for my refund to be issued. I have not received my refund of $987.00 and it has been a month and three support tickets later. My issue is I did not stay at the hotel I paid for and I was unaware I was booking through Hotel Planner. Yet Hotel Planner is keeping my money when they don't provide the service of lodging. If I knew they were a third party company and not the actual hotel I was requesting service from, I would have never given my card information NEVER!!!! In addition, Hotel Planner was issued their money back to their account via Regency Inn's hotel manager as I was at the front desk listening to the call when my refund was processed. I want a cash refund as promised Oct 8th as I have an email that says a refund has been issued. Not a voucher, not a gift card... I want my cash back.

A reservation was booked through Hotel Planner unknowingly as a third party. The booking was to evacuate during hurricane Milton and had to be cancelled due to evacuation changes. That has been a month ago and we are still having a terrible time getting a refund. A voucher was offered, but that was not acceptable. It has been 15 days since an email was sent to confirm a refund within 10 days. Not a happy camper.

Christine was very efficient and polite and helpful. However I think this hotel should charge one night and the balance when we arrive rather than the full amount 3 months ahead of time. No hotel does this. I was told the nightly amount and the cancellation policy but not told I would have to pay total amount up front

I had a credit voucher to book a hotel before January 2025. I booked a hotel for November 1-3, 2024 at Minneapolis marriott Nothwest. I called hotel planners to verify everything was valid and was told information is ok. When checking out of hotel on November 3, the voucher didn't show on my printout statement. I have been having problems with hotel planner from the beginning. It should not be a problem to get my credit applied to.my hotel stay. I have NEVER had this much problem with a hotel reservation.

I booked a hotel using the Instant book on the website. I booked a whole group of rooms. I paid in full and received confirmation of the room. The hotel had no record of the booking!

Nov 06,2024I thought I was booking my room directly through the hotel until I arrived and was informed a third party picked up my request. On top of the high rate you charged I ended up paying extra money to leave my car. Also my reservation was not added to my Marriott credits. Talk about a scam!!!
