Reservation was made at the wrong place

Online booking booked me into wrong hotel in a different state. When I caught the error, agent would not correct booking, but required me to cancel the first and rebook the same hotel in the correct state. Resulting in my incurring two charges for one booking. Someone - the hotel or the agent - got the windfall.

Laura went out of her way to locate me a room near the Yamava Resort where I was attending a show when Yamava was booked . She secured my room quickly and did a great job all the while being very polite and friendly.

Hi my name is david. I was looking for a room at the fairfield inn in corning. Rene was very helpful in making sure i recieved the room i wanted and also made sure the dates and times were correct. She was very clear with any questions I had. she was very pleasant and made it a nice experience.

ABSOLUTELY the WORST service I have ever experienced..confusing directions, options not clearly explained, representatives not able to speak clearly/ nor easily understood. Will do all I can to never use hotelplanner service again and express same to associates and friends regarding future travel plans. Cancellation policy/process onerous.
Process was long, with agent repeating information that he already had. Despite repeated appeals that I did not have much time, he seemed to be “locked into a script” and simply “parroted” information back to me that he already had.
Called looking for to do a block of rooms for my cheer club, unfortunately they didn’t have enough to block, was not the fault of the person I talked to but frustrating on my end trying to get enough rooms to offer my parents which allows everyone to stay in one place

Aug 27,2024Rates advertised do not have taxes/fees - resulted in mild sticker shock. Also difficult to manage names of guests in rooms.
