Jul 05,2023House of Tents were extremely helpful in sourcing spare struts for a gazebo that was felled by a freak wind the very first time it was erected. The very high cost of shipping the two broken struts from Germany amounted to an unrealistic GBP £50, so they kindly offered to replace them free-of-charge as a godwill gesture.

Jul 04,2023I wanted a gazebo that was good quality and looks like it will last. I'm certainly not disappointed! The courier let the side down a bit by having me sit around all day waiting for delivery, only to be told (at 5 in the afternoon) they couldn't make it and would try again the next day. It would be nice if you would list replacement roofs and side panels as accessories so I could purchase some at a later date (not that I'm expecting to need to replace the roof anytime soon, just want another colour for different uses).

Jul 03,2023Premium product arrived with a few small missing parts, which in the scheme of things was no big deal. I had emailed over the last week but due to the volume of emails their sales team got back to me with a big apology and sent the missing bits by courier and a small refund for the bits which I sourced else where ( bungees ) which was a welcome offering.. So the Marquee , 8 x 5 is absolutely fabulous, we erected it over the first week end at a friends wedding and it oozed quality and was a big hit with all the guest as it was baking hot! We bought the grey and white stripe version and its looks gorgeous. The frame and tubing is a good size and once up the frame is very firm. The building process was well laid out in the manual and I marked all the joints with marker pen as the labels can drop off. It takes 3- 4 people to lift and pull the canvas over the frame but it was very easy and dismantling was equally as easy. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, well done and thank you for your response.

Jul 01,2023Update - TERRIBLE QUALITY! went to set it up for the second time and it broke! Will be asking for a full refund asap. —————————————————- Not great quality. I’ve spent over £500 on a “pop up gazebo” with house of tents and to be honest I’m a little disappointed. Issues we have encountered are as follows 1. The gazebo itself is supposed to be “dark blue” it looks quite dark on the website and description yet when it arrived I opened it to find a bright royal blue gazebo ( definitely not the same colour as described) I ordered the colour particularly to match my business colours which it sadly doesn’t. 2. The case the gazebo comes in is not of good quality and made of flimsy material which ripped as soon as I picked it up by the handles. You’d think for such a large gazebo you’d have a good quality bag. (I am still waiting on a response regarding the ripped bag). 3. The bag is ridiculously tight!! It’s hard to even get the thing out of there. You certainly can’t put it back in the back with the roof material on (which you can do with all other pop up gazebos) the only way to try get it to fit back in the bag is to take the hole thing apart roof and all… and even now it’s still sat there half in the bag and half out because I’m too scared to try force it in there and end up ripping the bag further or somewhere new. 4. The sides of the gazebo fall slightly short in material, so when you put the sides on there’s gabs in the corners where really it should be nice and taught. All in all, really not happy for the money I’ve paid. Pretty crap to be honest.

Jun 27,2023I ordered well in advance (2 weeks) for an event. The order was meant to be shipped from the UK warehouse (if it exists) but was instead shipped from their German warehouse. When I originally rang I asked about the delivery times as I was skeptical of the 1-2 day window. They were honest and said it would be about 5-7 working days due to a change in courier. Plenty of time to get it to arrive or so I thought. It's taken about 4 different phone calls before they even offered to resend another from their UK warehouse, which quite frankly should have happened first when they couldn't locate where it was after it had been dispatched from their German warehouse. It's then taken another 3 phone calls to ask them for a refund. And I've had them mansplain to me how courier and logistical planning works on all of those calls, as if I was a child who didn't understand. I've now had to go elsewhere to get a replacement. Do not be fooled. This is not the place to buy tents. I'd say to spend a bit more and go elsewhere. Preferably somewhere that is in the UK! Interestingly enough when I rang the replacement company and explained that I'd been let down and needed a replacement they knew straightaway who I'd been let down by. Think this company has a reputation for not delivering so I'd say to stay clear. I just wish I'd known sooner and wasn't fooled by them initially.

In fact, it arrived a day earlier than planned and in good time for a long weekend event - thank you to Yaqoob for going 'the extra mile' for us.

Jun 19,2023We bought a 3mx3m Gazebo via Amazon on 30th May, it arrived earlier than expected, so I gave House of Tents a 5 Star TrustPilot Review on 9th June. On Sunday 11th June, I emailed and requested two spare cross members that got damaged in high winds. On Tuesday 13th June, Yaqoob kindly replied requesting me to identify the part numbers and quantity required. That same day I returned the email with the information requested. On Friday 16th June having heard nothing, I emailed them again using the same reply system, asking what was my order status. Nothing was heard over the weekend. On Monday I completed another TrustPilot Review, this time only awarding them 1 Star, for failing to get back in touch after six days. Not sure what went wrong, perhaps they lost my inital email details. but they did contact me over the review comments, success ! Since then, they have been exemplary, within two days my spare parts have been selected and dispatched. They were 5 Stars, they went down to 1 Star, now I am pleased they are back at the top, where they belong with 5 Stars from me, thanking you all.
