May 11,2023I ordered a 3m x 3m Forest Superior (oak finish) gazebo from Houseoftents. It was delivered on time, the only issue was that there was delivery damage to the boxes resulting in damage to parts in one of the boxes. I contacted Houseoftents immediately by email to report the damage, along with pictures, they were extremely helpful and organised replacement parts right away. I really enjoyed building this gazebo, it is a quality product, all parts are clearly identified and a good step by step instruction manual is included. With proper preparation of footing ( everything level and square) this gazebo is easy to build, all parts fitting together very well. I am delighted with the finished product, it is sturdy, extremely well designed watertight roof and it looks great with its oak wood effect finish and its grey curtains. Looking forward to dinning out under this gazebo with the assurance that regardless of the weather we will stay dry

May 09,2023Highly recommend House of Tents. From initial ordering to final assembly the staff were on hand to help answer any queries. Instructions were relatively easy to follow and with 4 people it took just under 4 hours to assemble. I would suggest assembling the Marquee during office hours, so that help is available over the phone! There is also a very good youtube video on how to erect a HofT marquee. Also check the parts carefully to ensure they are all there, (the carrier damaged/lost some parts which were replaced very quickly - Not House of Tents' fault!). The assembled marquee looked very smart and I am sure putting it up next time will be very much quicker! One small point, we recommend that you check all wing nuts are on the inside, so they do not put any pressure on the Marquee roof cover.

May 05,2023Ordered a 16x8m marquee used it once, the second time it was damaged by the wind. Personally don’t think they are fit for purpose they way the poles have bent. The delivery driver didn’t deliver the roof the first time round. The original package had a hole in and screws were missing and bungee ties. £60 later I’m screw fix. The company said they would provide new poles as a good will gesture but I’ve been sent a quote for new poles and £80 shipping charge. Our annual event is in a few weeks time. Email contact is very slow and I think they are only getting back to me as I’ve been ringing twice a day. Really disappointed as we spent £2.5k on the marquee and £300 on bags and storm kit. Now need to pay another £400 for new poles that should not have bent in the small amount of wind we had. Debating about employing a legal professional. We are a community organisation run by volunteers!

May 05,2023We ordered on Sunday night and Monday was a bank holiday all parts of marquee here by Thursday! It did come two separate days but I think that was a courier issue. We have put the marquee up and no issues. Good quality very sturdy would highly recommend! Thank You.

May 04,2023I ordered the 8x4 Premium Marquee which arrived within 3 days. Due to some wind damage I had some repairs that were required. I contacted the service team who were firstly very helpful but secondly agreed to replace the damaged parts as an act of goodwill. Incredibly impressive experience and firm.

Apr 27,2023We had a problem with our delivery. A number of the marquee poles had crushed ends. No problem, Houseoftents took note of part numbers and asked fir some photos (for audit purposes). I supplied photos same day as reporting damage. Next day new parts were already on their way, priority delivery, from House of tents. Excellent customer service, no quibbles. Very impressed.

Unfortunately we left it up in a very strong storm, some of the poles were damaged, however House of Tents customer service were great and organised replacement parts at a very reasonable price. The gentleman on the telephone was excellent and very helpful. Have no hesitation recommending this company to everyone.

Apr 21,2023I was going to write that customer service is terrible - but it is none existent so I have no idea. Bought a Sunset deluxe gazebo - awful design. Ended up employing a roofing company to build it and they were swearing. Just don't buy from this company. Update, As per their response below, House of Tents did contact me. They were keen to understand the issues I had faced and will improve their guidance on how to build the roof part of the gazebo. I also asked about the email communications but they couldn't find them. This looks like a problem on their side, but explains why there was no response. They are trying to improve on the customer service. I advised they test their email and add better videos of how to build the products. At least they got back in touch with me and wanted to know how to improve. I have therefore updated this review to 3 stars to reflect this.

It was almost better to deal with a problem with this company than it is to just deal in general with most others. HIGHLY Recommend.

Apr 19,2023Service has been terrible No response to emails Very disappointing UPDATE yaqoob took ownership of this for me . Yaqoob arranged a collection for me and arranged for my refund also. Yaqoob updated me throughout the process . If customer service had dealt originally it would not have got to this . Thank from 1 * to 4 only because issued has been resolved . It would have been a 5 if my emails had been dealt with originally . I also want to say . I would buy a new marquee from house of tents again if I ever required one . The frame is solid and has with stood some bad weather

May 12,2023Totally unfit for purpose. Sold as premium and its really cheap. Won't last more than a couple of days. Trying to engage the company to get a refund or replacement and they are ignoring all emails. You have since responded and you will do absolutely nothing to help sort this situation so there is no point in pretending that you will here
