Jan 15,2025Delivery longer than stated Delivery date confirmed and then missed which cost me money due to having to pay an employee to be on site to accept delivery, no communication from the delivery company until the day after so already off to a bad start. Started putting the tent together to find one of the roof poles had was missing. Got hold of customer services and had the missing part sent which took another week. Tent was finally erected as per instructions with front and back put on including the supplied rachet strap tensioners. Came in the next morning to find these had torn the eyelets out and ripped the rear cover of the tent both sides on the rear of the tent so had to tie them off to prevent further damage. Various photos of this damage where sent as the supplied tent was meant to have a 3 year rip proof guarantee and now house of tents is refusing to honour this after only being up for 1 day. They have offered us a 20% discount on purchasing a new rear cover but they won't be getting another penny out of me.

Jan 15,2025customer service is a joke this has to be the worse company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with I would advise anyone not to use them and don't complain as they will just refuse to engage with you still waiting for Cs to contact me as they have replied saying they will now the 28th still nothing after they said they would reply to my review please do not wasteyour money on this awful company they just lie after lie photos sent every step was followed by there instructions then they blame you to get out of covering warranty

Our order no is 100800901 - we are still waiting for a response from Carlos who has not called us back despite several calls.

Jan 10,2025After finding this company we would not bother with any other. The gazebos we have ordered are extremely well made, easy to put up and dismantle. Communication on deliveries have been on time and always communicated properly. We have also found customer service to be top quality.

Jan 06,2025Short delivered. Then arrangements to sort by their Customer Service Team were shocking.. total lack of customer service or communication and UK Warehouse team seemed not to care. Comms between the non UK team to the UK team are shocking.. email only and a chat channel.. very very poor - had to hire a marquee in, in the end to cover what we needed this time.. really dissaopinted

Jan 04,2025Terrible gazebo!! I bought one of their 3x3m gazebos in November 2024 for a Christmas market we were attending. Tried to setup the gazebo on the Friday evening, found that the centre pole would not fit at all, ended up having to use countless zipties and a piece of 2x4 timber to hold up the centre of the gazebo (photos sent to House of Tents). Towards the end of the Saturday the frame had twisted so much it wouldn't collapse. The brand new gazebo lasted less than 24hrs!!! Absolute waste of money, really wish I hadn't bothered. Please don't waste your money on their products, there is no support from House Of Tents when trying to solve the issues. As I stated to House Of Tents, would perhaps understand if I had left the gazebo setup throughout the year in all sorts of weather but to last less than 24hrs is ridiculous! Despite there being an obvious issue when setting up they still state it was weather related so not covered by warranty!

Despite providing all necessary documentation and clear communication, I have still not received any response. This ongoing lack of engagement is incredibly frustrating. I had hoped for a prompt resolution, but instead, I’ve been met with silence. It’s clear that their customer service and support post-purchase are severely lacking. I caution other potential buyers to consider this when deciding whether to purchase from House of Tents. If you're seeking a company that stands by their products and provides reliable after-sales support, this experience suggests that may not be the case here. **************************************** I purchased an 8x12m storage tent from House of Tents (Toolport GmbH) in April 2023 for £3,090, along with their "Safety Plus Package," which was marketed to enhance stability in adverse weather conditions. The tent was installed exactly as per their guidelines, using storm straps, ground anchors, and reinforcing wires. Despite this, the tent failed catastrophically in November 2024 during moderate wind conditions (22–26 mph), which are well within the limits outlined in their Statics Calculation Booklet. The tent was advertised as suitable for wind speeds up to Force 5 (20–28 mph) with the Safety Plus Package installed. However, despite following all instructions and maintaining the tent regularly, the structure suffered severe damage, including a shredded roof, buckled poles, and torn seams. When I contacted House of Tents for support under their guarantee, I was met with the following: Claims that damage caused by wind is excluded, contradicting their own documentation, which explicitly states the tent can withstand such conditions with the Safety Plus Package. A bizarre assertion that dog urine caused material degradation, even though the roof—unlikely to have come into contact with urine—was the primary failure point. Refusal to honor their warranty, offering only a 20% discount on replacement parts instead of addressing the product’s failure to meet advertised standards. This tent is sold as part of Toolport’s Professional Range, implying durability and reliability. Yet the product failed under conditions it was supposedly designed for, and their customer service has been dismissive and unhelpful throughout. While House of Tents replaced parts early in the product’s life for unrelated issues, they refused to acknowledge this major failure despite extensive evidence showing correct setup and compliance with their guidelines. I strongly caution potential buyers to think carefully about whether House of Tents storage tents can meet their needs and whether their guarantee offers any real protection. Based on my experience, both the product and warranty support were far below expectations.

Dec 17,2024I ordered a large ( 12 x 6m ) domestic marquee for what seemed a very reasonable price so was not really expecting the quality of the tent that turned up - it went together easily and actually looked better than their promotional pictures. We had some very strong winds ( 100kmh) and I was unable to dismantle in time - whilst their was minor damage to the covering the fact that it survived unscathed is a testament to the build quality.A couple of joints did fail ( to be expected given the conditions ) and the office in Norderstedt could not have been more helpful and proactive in helping to sort. In conclusion - far better than I was expecting for the price with excellent after sales back up -100%
