Bought a premium gazebo which is exactly what I needed, but sadly the leg got damaged on one side due to a heavy object hanging on the side and the customer service team have been so kind to replace it for free. You wouldn’t receive this at most companies so kudos to them!

Jun 16,2023worst customer service setup i have ever dealt with. product is fine, but god help you if you have a problem with your order! IN RELATION TO THE RESPONSE BELOW FROM THEM I WILL UPDATE WITH MORE DETAIL. I WONT HOLD MY BREATH..... And here we go! Nearly a MONTH later, 12th July I get a phone call from a nice man at House of Tents phoning to apologise for the expereince i had. Various things beyond their control etc etc but as a guesture of my bad experience they offered me a £40 refund. Nice!...I thought. To begin with they said we offer the refund for your experience and maybe I might then think about reviewing my Trustpilot review. I said sure, i'll think about it. Then just before he signed off on the call he said something like "So i will tell my finance department to flag your review on Trustpilot and WHEN it is removed we will THEN process the refund!" Basically saying we will pay you money to take down the review, but not until you do!!!!!! Lets see what happens from here........

Initially, I was slightly concerned after reading a few reviews mentioning potential issues with the delivery process. However, I am pleased to share that my marquee arrived within just three days of placing the order, which was a pleasant surprise. While I was generally satisfied with the delivery speed (Tuffnells delivered on their final day before announcing administration), I did encounter a small setback. There was a noticeable hole in the box when it arrived at my doorstep. This raised some concerns about the condition of the marquee and whether any parts might have been damaged during transit. Luckily, none of the components were affected. Nevertheless, it would be advisable for House of Tents to pay closer attention to the packaging to ensure that the items are adequately safeguarded during transportation. Moving past the packaging issue, I am delighted to report that the marquee itself has proven to be sturdy and reliable. It has been standing strong for a week now without any signs of instability. The frame feels robust, and the materials used appear to be of good quality. I have gained confidence in the durability of this marquee. The size of the marquee is also ideal for my needs, offering ample space for various gatherings and events. The assembly process was relatively straightforward and we encountered no significant difficulties. Despite the minor hiccup with the packaging, House of Tents has demonstrated their commitment to timely delivery and satisfactory products. The marquee's sturdiness and durability have been impressive. The customer service I received was satisfactory, and I believe House of Tents values their customers' satisfaction. In conclusion, if you are in the market for a reliable marquee, House of Tents is still worth considering. While the packaging issue was a minor inconvenience, the prompt delivery and the quality of the marquee outweighed this setback. I would recommend House of Tents for their dependable products, and I would certainly consider them for future purchases, hoping that they address the packaging concerns.

Jun 15,2023After reading a few unfavourable reviews I contacted house of tents and they quickly allayed any concerns. Communication was fast and efficient, delivery was within a few days and the guys took it onto the back garden for me as I wasn’t home. The Gazebo (3M Sunset Classic) is superb. Well made, sturdy and high quality. Looks very premium for the price.

On contacting them to rectify the matter, they immediately sent out another side with extra tent pegs and fastenings for their mistake. Quality id amazing fir the price & the service & spares are there to back it up should you need anything in the future.

Jun 09,2023Do NOT use this company, scammers, lairs and unprofessional! I purchased for an event in plenty of time … when it arrived the boxes were sodden as courier left purchase in the pouring rain outside my home! Costing £1k I decided to return as if I use I can’t pack away after use! Company ignored my request! My event came close and they still hadn’t contacted me so I decided I would erect and see if they would offer some kind of compensation such as new boxes! Upon erection we had the wrong size poles! I made contact with them and they guaranteed new poles would arrive in time, needless to say they didn’t! I’m now £1000 out of pocket with a marquee that can’t be used and still awaiting collection. Tufnell the courier company had agreed to collect numerous times and I’m still waiting!

Jun 07,2023UPDATE - I'm unable to respond to their post back to me below - but I STILL do not have a refund and they only sent me (too late) half of what I ordered... they've stopped communicating with me - utter thieves. Do not use this company if you want to keep your sanity - disgusting behaviour! - Original review below! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They do not deliver on time and they ignore requests for cancellations and refunds. Disgusting behaviour - avoid at all costs.

Jun 06,2023Great product – Terrible service, delivery and packaging. We ordered this marque at a cost of over £1100 in plenty of time to use it for the Mayday bank holiday, the Coronation and the Eurovision contest, we were unable to use it for any of them due to missing parts and an uninterested customer service team. Most of the boxes were damaged and part of my delivery had been given to someone else who contacted my direct as he had my address and mobile number (GDPR!!), luckily he was very nice and dropped round the package and he was also missing packages from his own delivery. It took ages for the final missing box to arrive and when it did the box was torn open and the delivery driver suggested I reject delivery, but we didn’t want to miss any more bank holiday opportunities so we accepted it and hoped everything was inside (which it was). Once erected, we are very pleased with the product itself, just really disappointed with the hassle in getting it delivered. I would have thought the supplier would have made some gesture to apologise for the events that we have been unable to hold due to the very poor service and the time spent trying to sort out their mistakes , but they really don’t seem interested. UPDATE: Since posting, Yaqoob from House of Tents has been in touch a couple of times to apologise and to get a better understanding of the issues, which mainly seem to be caused by the courriers. Hopefully they will change couriers and be able to provide a better service. It seems they were exeptionally busy in April with the bank holiday events etc. Yaqoob was very helpfull.

Jun 06,2023I have just had the best customer experience, thanks to Julian. As a returning customer, I was pretty happy with my previous purchase of a gazebo, so I was confident that everything would go smoothly when I purchased a second one. The online experience was good, but when it came to the delivery Tuffnells were awful. They said they'd deliver but didn't, then they said the same again, and again, and again. On the third day of yet another promised delivery that never materialised I called customer service, and that's when Julian took control. Within 24 hours another gazebo was shipped and within 48 hours it had arrived via an alternative logistics company. It was really lovely to talk to a real person who genuinely cared, and who fixed the problem promptly and courteously. Companies need more Julians! Thank you Julian, you really have been brilliant.

Jun 05,2023Was emailed to say delivery would be on Friday 2nd June. Then email at 9.30pm on the Friday to say courier (Tuffnells) delivered but nothing! Waited till today and contacted House of Tents 3 times who say they’re trying to find out from courier what happened to the marquee. As of this moment I am none the wiser and £555 out of pocket but hoping House of Tents will rectify and deliver marquee ready for my son’s wedding. Will up grade rating if positive result , but as yet they don’t even contact me UPDATE 9th June Friday My marquee has now been delivered and one box collected. Yahoob and Henning were very helpful and communicated very well. With family and friends travelling from a long way we shall erect the marquee tomorrow and hope all is fine, but I have confidence in the team to sort it out if any problems. As other reviewers have commented, it’s the problem of their courier Tuffnells, and I highly recommend House of Tents change their courier who I believe have basically caused all the problems. Just three bits of advice, be very very clear on your delivery address, although I was, and don’t believe anything Tuffnells say or do, and check your packages off the courier’s lorry!
