Mar 24,2019advertised as year round industrial tent,lasted 3 days before poor quality zip failure and and torn material, after a week of phone conversations to germany not uk we received replacement roof ,sides and ends,we have managed 4 weeks before same issues plus poor quality welds that have failed,,and worn through cover, we have spent a vast amount of time and effort and over 1k in extra fixings and straps to replace poor quality items supplied,but have now decided to not waste any more time and effort on this item.and disposed of it. £3000 of poor quality junk.and an insult to use the uk to hide cheap imported junk from germany PLEASE BE VERY AWARE. we have plenty of evidence if anyone would like to view ,

Mar 22,2019Tent arrived late but did receive tent cleaner and bungees for free due to courier problems. Very good quality and easy to assemble . My wife is very pleased with the look and they are being used for short term storage while garage refurbished.cant find fault with the overall product.

I had lots of questions about the marquee I wanted to purchase and they answered all my questions and made the buying process easy. Unfortunately I had to cancel my order due to a change of our circumstances. They were understanding and cooperative with this matter. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future.

Dec 28,2018Due to the weight of the gazebo we purchased, we have been forced to return the tent unused as it will not suit our long term needs. House of Tents will not pay for the return of the goods and therefore we have been told we must pay to return the good to Germany from the UK! This will no doubt incur a huge cost.

Apr 22,2018We were originally sent the marquee some months ago but didn't put it up until the weather got better, which we did. Unfortunately, we were sent different panels which didn't match. House of Tents agreed to send replacement panels once they were notified which were gratefully received. Generally, good Customer Service and I do recommend them. Thanks. Shafiq

Mar 27,2018Very good communication with the company before and after purchase and speedy delivery from Germany of the 5x6 Premium PVC marquee. Although not yet erected, the frame looks very strong and well designed and the PVC material is not flimsy and should stand up to the worst the British summer can throw at it. So pleased I have ordered a second one 5x5 to attach to it.

Mar 26,2018I ordered the marquee via the website on the 20th, received email confirmation the same day and shipping tracking numbers on the 21st with the marquee arriving of the 23rd via UPS. This is an excellent service shipping from Germany to the UK. The marquee itself is well packaged arriving in the three boxes (one for the poles, a second for the connectors and the third with the sidewalls and roof). I watched the online videos available on the House Of Tents website which made the construction very simple including the tip of constructing the roof section and installing the roof cover prior to installing the 8 legs. The poles are connected using bolts (with hex key) and wing nuts which make for speedy fitting. I have bolted the legs to decking (with timber bracing beneath) and along with the guy ropes make for a sturdy tent. The PVC material is very good. I found some defects with a sidewall and the roof. After sending an email including photographs (as per the confirmation email), customer support (Wencke ) replied with the goodwill offering of replacement roof and sidewall. These arrived within 3 days. Overall, the quality of the party tent is great, and the level of customer service is second to none.

Mar 20,2018After having a weather related problem with our tent gutter leaking after a few months use, we inquired if this could be considered a warranty issue. The supplier sensibly asked for a short video of the problem and then without question agreed to replace the gutter without admission of guilt. This was hoped for but not expected. Because of their decision, we consider them a good and caring supplier who puts their customers ahead of themselves, something which a rarely seen these days. We are indebted to their consideration and would have no hesitation in recommending, not only their after sales customer services which was polite and prompt, but their base product which for us was a 18M x 6M quality catering marquee. Thank you House of Tents.

Sep 06,2017Avoid. Ordered a very expensive Marquee. It has just arrived with all of the boxes broken open and poles dented - except for one box which is missing!! Avoid this company. They appear professional but their customer services is non-existent. I have had to ask them to come and collect it and I'll order elsewhere. They are very clever with the marketing but you would be really shocked to see the condition of the delivery I received today.

Aug 07,2017We ordered a marquee 5 x 8 for my sons birthday party. which was on sunday 6th Aug 2017 on Saturday we start assembling the marquee and found four major parts were missing. when we rang customer services we been assured some will ring us as they open till 6 pm . we made 3 phone calls and every time same assurance was given. it was stressful time for us. we even requested that we are willing to drive to their despatch warehouse to collect missing parts. when we rang the customer services at 5:45 said that their office will be closed in 15 min time you have to ring back on Monday . we were so annoyed as on first instance they should send us all the parts and second if they could not resolve the issue they should honestly tell us that they ca not do any thing. at the last minute we end up hiring a marquee at double the market price because of the short notice. After all this chase we also found out that company is based in Germany and they have a 3rd party call centre who can only answer the phone but cannot do much. we strongly recommend not to use above company . few other issues :- all the parts were not numbered and the side panels are not the same thickness 500 as they are advertising.

Apr 10,2019Ordered a 4x3 budget product on a Monday for a function the coming Saturday. It was delivered on the Thursday albeit in 2 parcels that came separately? The product build is excellent and is of a high quality. The best thing about it is it is so easy to assemble and I did it on my own after locating a video on YouTube which was really helpful. I did um and ah a little before deciding to go for it as the £249 felt a little steep but I can genuinely say it so worth the investment. Great product, superb quality and even at £249 amazing value for money. I would highly recommend.
