Nov 30,2021I purchased a Honda Jazz two months previously to purchasing the Hyundai i10 from Howards Motor Group. The Jazz had shown a few issues which I had found difficult to cope with - loads of gizmos - and then when the car was taken to a body shop (my fault), it was pointed out that it had suffered other knocks (prior to my ownership) and repairs not very well done. Upon returning to Howards and Alex, their response and follow-up has been superb. I was immediately offered an exchange. Two days after our initial meeting, Alex telephoned to say that the Hyundai was coming into the Showroom and invited me to visit to see it. As a result, it was exchanged together with a cash-back payment. As in our previous experience, the whole procedure was treated in a very friendly and courteous manner and there was nothing I could criticize. My sincere thanks to Howards and especially Alex.

We had already visited another showroom but did not feel confident in what we were being told, so decided to try the Weston Super-mare showroom this was the right decision. Nov 20,2021Two year ago I bought a Honda Jazz through Howards (Citroen) Taunton and was delighted with the purchase. So when I decided to try an electric car I decided to go back to Simon Collings and see if he could procure a Nissan Leaf for me to see and try out. Simon soon managed to have a Leaf delivered to Taunton for me to see and test drive. I was bowled over by the car and Simon soon arranged the exchange for me. He was terribly helpful in the whole process and I am most appreciative of his attention to detail and how easy he made the transfer. I am delighted with the Leaf and thank Simon for helping with the transition to electric. Thank you Michael Turner-Welch

Nov 13,2021Having been a customer for many years,my latest NEW? car ,C1,i was sold a dud,nothing but trouble.Being unable to drive for3 months due to an injury,its only the past few days i have driven, 1 rear light works and last night when out I switched everything off,when i returned to the car 4 hours later,ALL the lights were on,unbelievable, and now when out shopping today the same thing happened again.And this particular model was out of date,new it might be,but old model YES.Was i told this ,NO...and i was not offered a test drive. I think because of a lot of personal difficulties lately,i know i am vulnerable,and people latch onto this,and preying on peoples anxieties and grief is apprehensible.Not that its of concern to people,but common courtesy and kindness costs nothing, and it costs nothing to be nice. (would i really have had new tyres fitted on my Cactus and then changed it immediately the same day had i been in a good place at the time,I dont think so.) Until now ,my late husband and I had nothing but praise for Howards,and indeed recommended them to many colleagues, Car dealers have always been known to be questionable, and i really thought Howards was different.?

Nov 06,2021So… I received a company vehicle by a leasing company, a 3008 Allure Hybrid and upon delivery I was shown the basics by the delivery driver! Wanting and needing to know more about certain functionalities of the vehicle I phoned my local Peugeot dealer which is in Taunton and spoke with Mike, as I didn’t purchase the vehicle from them I felt quite guilty to ask but Mike kind enough to spend a little time with me showing me what I wanted to know… Mikes response was basically ‘doesn’t matter where you got the vehicle from you are a Peugeot customer’, that response speaks volumes to me as it was enough to know my vehicle would be in safe hands regarding servicing and any repairs in the time I have my vehicle.. Bravo Mike…
