The staff at Kia Taunton are fabulous. Called me to book my service and MOT, extremely professional. All done whilst waiting in the reception. Sales also took an awful amount of time talking me through the new EV6, and giving me an excellent overview. Well done all at Kia Taunton.

Yesterday, I took my Peugeot 308 to Howards seeking an opinion about the 'ride' which had seemed unusually bumpy. I had not consciously driven over any potholes and so feared that there might be something wrong with the suspension. A most excellent technician, Karim, inflated all the tyres to the correct pressures (he found that they were a bit low), drove the car, with me sitting beside him, and declared everything OK. He had given his time, willingly, to provide me with the reassurance that I needed. Best of all, there was no charge. I am more than ever impressed with Howards' superb service.

Wanted to say a big thank you to sales manager Stuart at Howards MG Yeovil. He was really accommodating on arranging and extended test drive in an MG4 and a short drive of the X-Power variant. Knowledgeable and non-pushy with a great car knowledge, I can highly recommend this dealership from a sales perspective. Sadly we'd couldn't do a deal on price but would certainly have bought from them if we could have. Will be back for servicing for sure.

My Astra needed a MOT & service, easy to check in, all completed on time. I was very pleased with the curtesy lift to take me home, and to pick up and return me to Howards. All in all great service

I took my Vauxhall Corsa for its annual service & MOT & used Howards Vauxhall for the first time. Very impressed with the service received. From booking the original date to collecting the car after completion, communication was very good and for first time was able to book a courtesy car for the day. Received prompt information concerning MOT everything was done in timely manner. Very pleased.

Distance buy, never again! Once they got the full payment, I was completely ignored. They were late delivering the car and offered paint protection as compensation. This was poorly applied and didn't last long. For successful PP, the paint should be machine polished and decontaminated prior to application. It was not. I didn't hear from this dealer once the car was delivered. The delivery chap was very professional, unlike the garage. A follow up call should've been made, particularly after a very late delivery that inconvenienced my plans. The communication between sales and the workshop was a farce. Apparently the delay was due to my request of the latest software update. My local Kia dealership confirmed this was not even completed! Avoid this dealership at all costs. Thankfully, it's an excellent car!

Meeting Jack for the first time was so good as Jack sorted my car so quick for me. My original car was delayed so when my current car packed up he quickly sorted out an alternative car in just over a week. Now my new car is ready for me to drive. I just can’t thank Jack enough for his help. Thank you Jack.

Very poor quality of service since Howards have taken over We booked our 2 year old car in for it’s annual service at Howards Kia Taunton and explained that we were having problems with both rear door handles sticking causing the doors to remain unlocked when driving off (very dangerous). We arrived early at the showroom as we entered we were immediately approached at the front door and asked if we would like to look at new models with a view to changing our current car. Next at the service desk we were called by a completely different name, we left the car having been told a time that it would be finished. We arrived back half an hour early to find the car parked at the front of the garage supposedly finished. At the service desk we had a run through exactly what had been done, after the main essential had been covered we were told that they couldn’t check the tyres properly as we had metal valve caps fitted and it would cost £400.00 if when removing the valve caps damage occurred. Now exactly the same valve caps went through the service on that car at the same garage last year, in fact I had removed them from my previous Kia that had been serviced many times at that same garage without any problems (before Howards took over from the previous Garage owner) very strange I took my car to my local garage to confirm that this was a problem only to be told the caps are fine as the are made of coloured plastic (Not Metal) and perfectly ok. I then asked had they checked the spare wheel the answer was no as it had no spare wheel. Now the man I was speaking to had in fact in the past given me the part number for the replacement spare wheel that was now in the car. It was completely obvious that the hadn’t even checked or opened the boot of the car. He then said that they had sorted the rear door handles out and they were now working perfectly. On the way home we stopped off at a shop and when opened A rear door it was still not closing properly exactly the same problem we were experiencing before the service. In the past I I have had similar problems with Howards Honda, and Peugeot hence I moved over to Kia without any problems until now that Howards have taken over. The entire experience at Howards was awful it seemed as if the staff were unhappy and under pressure my car was obviously rushed through the service leaving important issues unattended. And new issues found without proper investigation. It’s such a shame as I was very happy with the garage when under the previous ownership it was a completely different experience. It would seem they are under pressure to invent problems to save time. I will be looking for an alternative garage in the future.

I had a great experience buying my first Toyota, Jordan was helpful and made the process relaxed and not pressured as previous experiences at other garages have been stressful. I was also fortunate enough to take advantage of the event that was on that weekend so all in all was very pleased with my deal.

Called in just to look at the possibility in having an electric Hyundai Kona. We were greeted by Steve who was very friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable regarding owning an electric vehicle. Steve was more than willing to let us test drive an EV Kona to understand how it works and how it handles which was good. From this and Steve's patience in answering all our questions we decide to buy one. Steve was brilliant throughout and displayed excellent customer service. There was no pressure to buy unlike we've had at some other dealers. Would definitely recommend Howards 100%.
