Ana, our agent was so pleasant, professional and helpful with booking the dates and times we required and arranging our extra legroom seats. Sep 28,2024SCAM Thought I was calling Spirit Air. Surprised they answered so quickly (What airline connects you with a human with no holding time? Should have seen that as a red flag!) Asked if they were Spirit and the rep said they do the ticketing and changes for Spirit. Sneaky play on words, as they have no affiliation with Spirit (or any other airline). Just needed to change 2 tickets. They charged me more to change to an identical, same price ticket, than it would have cost me to buy new ones. They talked in circles (good strategy to confuse people). I probed and probed for clarity, but got none. Only when I realized the price they quoted me was the ADDITIONAL amount they were charging me, on top of what I had already paid, and not just the market price of the actual ticket, they told me it was too late to undo it. They refused to cancel the transaction, told me they had been clear about everything, advised that I call Spirit customer service (that's who I thought I was talking to, in the first place), and then hung up on me after I refused to open the confirmation document they sent or to approve the transaction. Going forward, I will always get the customer service numbers straight from the airline's website.
