Plenty of notice given and automatic renewal. had policy for a few years now, we haven't claimed, so can't comment.
I have a claim outstanding from 18-July for an operation that took place in June. Citing 'a high volume of claims' backlog as the reason for the continued delay. Interestingly there was no delay with the renewal of my policy. To be honest I am not sure what I am paying for, the level of service is shocking!

Over 20% premium rise, no claims and policy cheaper for new customers I keyed in exact same details on IYPs own website and policy was £30 less a year than I pay now as a new client. Raised a query and got given vague "lots of factors determine premium" but not really addressing why new customers are charged less for the same product. Am concerned this will be one of those products that starts off affordable and then when pet reaches age no one else will insure the premiums will rise exponentially. Price walking is banned in home / motor insurance, perhaps time to extend it to pet insurance as well.

Easy to set up my new dogs pet insurance. I am a new customer for them having used a previous pet insurer for my last dog. I won't be able to judge or compare properly until it comes to renew the policy each year or should I need to make a claim for vets fees. Otherwise very happy with the policy I have set up. Would be nice if they had an app for your phone as the website is confusing and hard to navigate.

What ever you do, do NOT choose Insure your Paws, they have taken 5 months to approve our claim, they left questions unanswered which I will be following up with a call and this has not been a good experience at all. Would not recommend whatsoever.

Took a while to sort my claim, or it would of been 5 star 🌟
Had to make a claim and this years premium did increase significantly. After checking this was a normal increase for a dog reaching later years (7). The claim was settled with no issues and premium is very competitive. No reason to shop around.
Never insure your pet here. My loyalty has been met with a 100% increase in price per month for my 6 year old dog who had one small claim in 2020. When I spoke to customer services regarding this, I was faced with no flexibility and hostility. Beware!
I have had different pet insurers over the years for my dogs. I was a bit apprehensive about using a company I hadn’t heard of. My dogs have now been with them for 9 years and I have no concerns. Each claim is dealt with rapidly with no hassle. I would definitely recommend.
Process really slow Made a claim - 21/6 - had to pay for Vets Treatment in full 3rd July - You said that my claim would be resolved in 5-8 weeks 24th July - Asked me to be patient as your still working on the claim 27th July - Asked for full vet history for as first claim, called and advised that this was not the case, you hadnt checked my account correctly I have moved, all the details confirmed and I was told sent to the insurance underwriter 07th August - Asked me to be patient as still working on the claim 11th August - Chased for an update which has now come back to say that you got all the necessary information on 21/6 but this would now be 10-12 weeks? Can some-one please give me an update on my claim Policy Number IYPU0011LA/202135/1 Claim number 57021130. ***** UPDATE - 15/9/2022***** Still not resolved, still waiting for an update............
Claim now ongoing for nearly 6 months, now asking for vet info for when the pet was a few months old and not even in my possession been with them for 2 years and no issues up to point I made a claim. Update - after contact with Natalie, the claims team have came back to request exactly the same question that I have already answered. 5 months since I made this claim. Have multiple policies for years with this company, this year looks like the last Update - Claim has now been approved after I highlighted the case so thank you to all involved in that. I have updated rating but due to length of time the claim has been ongoing and lack of contact to this point, I think this is a fair reflection, although I can't fault how customer relations handled and resolved the case within such a short period.
Fabulous company, very good with payouts when necessary and reasonable prices.
