Oct 29,2021We booked our wedding through Ionian and went to Sorrento. It was the most beautiful and amazing day we could have wished for. Maria helped us with any queries or worries we had and put our minds to instant rest. When we got to Italy, Antonella and Bernardo were so helpful and kind. They helped us every step of the way. Thank you for such an amazing wedding and great memories!

Oct 26,2021We had our wedding in Hvar Croatia in September 2021. It was all amazingly put together by the wedding planner and Ionian Weddings and couldn’t have been more relaxed! I highly recommend them if you’re wanting a wedding abroad as they provide you with so much information and guidance! Everything was perfect that they sorted - hair & beauty was exceptional, food was the best wedding food we’ve ever had and the photographers made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. Ariana kept everything running smoothly on the day and Maria (UK based) was so helpful!! Especially when we requested date changes. Wouldn’t have changed a thing!!!

Oct 25,2021We decided on having our wedding abroad and wanted a relaxed beach wedding. It was daunting looking online and we werent sure where/how to get started. I stumbled across Ionian Weddings and we are so glad we did. From start to finish, the service we received was excellent. The team at home were brilliant, professional and always quick to respond. Especially poor Helen who had to break the news to me that my wedding was going to have to be postponed with only 2 weeks to go due to Covid restrictions. She made the whole process of changing dates so easy and stress free, and was always there to reassure me. We picked Cyprus for the wedding which took place at Thalassines In Ayia Thekla. Words can't describe how utterly beautiful and romantic this place is (my new happy place). When we arrived at the venue, we met Sheena to chat through the final wedding arrangements. She was brilliant and is excellent at what she does. We had the best Wedding day which was everything we wanted and more. For anyone feeling unsure or worried about using Ionian Weddings, Don't be... Go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Oct 21,2021Thank you Ionian Weddings for making our day so special. It was really perfect! We got married at Thalassines Beach Villas in Ayia Thekla, Cyprus. Cassie made booking our Wedding day so easy. I was sent lots of information and she was always so prompt at coming back to any questions that I had. I was then handed over to Helen who started the planning with me. Everything was so up in the air with Covid being in the mix and I was always so last minute but Helen was always there! She would always reply to my emails, call me when I needed a chat and nothing was ever too much to ask. She was also incredibly patient and made everything seem straight forward. When we arrived in Cyprus, I met Sheena who finalised everything, added some extras and made our day run so smoothly. We honestly can say we had the best day of our lives. Thank you again Cassie, Helen and Sheena. Mr & Mrs Sutton.

Oct 11,2021Ionian were brilliant from start to finish in helping us plan our wedding in Santorini. Cassi, Lizzie, Rachel and Sofia were all excellent. At the beginning, they really did a good job of gaining my trust and answering all my questions about how it would be working with a planner, which not all other planners I approached were as comfortable doing. They were super flexible during Covid and changed everything, multiple times over, in a way that made it very easy and hassle free for me. I trusted them throughout the whole process and as a result, the actual wedding day was amazing. It all ran very smoothly and the guests commented on how excellent the staff and planners were. I have since recommended them to other friends who are getting married in Santorini. Would highly recommend!

Oct 06,2021I cannot recommend Ionian enough. They were fantastic. Rachel was our planner and she was amazing. Got back to me promptly re covid guest cancellations and booking things and general queries /amendments. We held on without cancelling and thankfully it all went ahead as planned. Oct 04,2021Covid destroyed our plans twice and throughout it all Helen was reassuring, extremely accommodating and always there when we needed her. We were then passed on to our destination planner, Leanne who was equally superb. Our wedding at Liopetro Venue, Cyprus was unbelievably stunning, something straight out of a fairytale. We got our day finally, and it was truly the best day of our lives. We went through Ionian via a recommendation and we are forever grateful we did we did.

Oct 04,2021We originally booked our wedding with Ionian in 2018 for 2020 in Sorrento. Then 6 months before our wedding, covid happened. Special thanks to Maria who has been amazing during this stressful time! We were on our 4th date when the Italy review stating only double vaccinated were able to enter Italy to avoid quarantine happened.. meaning key family members would be unable to come. We were heartbroken but desperate to still get married so we arranged a whole new wedding in Cyprus thanks to Maria! We only had 3 weeks to go but she did a fantastic job in rearranging everything for us. She was so quick to email us back regarding our wedding day even on weekends and late at night, she really has been amazing ☺️ We got married in Vasilias Nikoklis inn in Cyprus on 28th September and we had the most perfect day. The venue exceeded our expectations, it was beautiful. Leanne our planner over there was equally just as amazing! My family loved her aswell. Even came back to watch our first dance 🥰 Maria and Leanne both went above and beyond for us. I’d highly recommend Ionian to anyone looking to get married abroad! x

Sep 29,2021Ionian Weddings have been incredible from start to finish! from booking our Santorini wedding two years ago to our dream day two weeks ago, they have been nothing short of amazing. Cassie dealt with the initial stages and was so friendly and approachable, nothing was ever a bother! We were then passed to Rachel our official wedding planner who was very calming and reassuring during all of the Covid uncertainty! Highly recommend this lovely friendly team of wedding planners to anyone thinking of getting married abroad! Just wish we could do our dream day all over again!

Sep 29,2021Planning a wedding is hard enough, let alone an abroad one in the middle of a pandemic … Ionian weddings were amazing and we can’t thank our planner Helen enough for answering our million questions throughout our planning phase and just being so so helpful! She was also extremely positive whenever we had worries of whether the wedding would go ahead which we were so thankful for. We got married at the Liopetro Venue in Paphos, Cyprus which is just THE most stunning venue. The venue were also absolutely amazing at answering all our questions, giving us a FaceTime tour when we couldn’t make it out for our visit and we’re just generally amazing people. Our Cypriot planner Debbie is the most organised person we’ve met, she was incredible putting our mind at ease that everything we requested was in order at our wedding meeting when we arrived in Cyprus and adjusting to last minute changes with guest etc due to covid! Thank you all so much for helping make our day so incredibly beautiful and perfect in every way!

We were instantly drawn to Ionian after seeing the variety of wedding packages offered and the quality of their website and photography. We're in the process of booking our wedding in Sorrento Italy and we're amazed at how easy the process has been so far. Maria has been wonderful to work with: she's very responsive, caring, and in general a great person to talk with about our wedding goals. We look forward to further coordination with Maria and the rest of the Ionian team. Our dream wedding is now booked for September 2022 and we can't wait!

Sep 25,2021Ionion were really good from the beginning to end. Due to Covid there was a lot of uncertainty around whether the wedding would actually go ahead & we found out 2 weeks before it would so a lot of last minute planning & changes. The wedding planners we dealt with were all really professional & went above & beyond including hand delivering legal documents at the airport. Our planner in Italy who also acted as translater was superb. We felt in very safe hands. Would definitely recommend *****

Sep 23,2021Our wedding was originally booked for May 2020 in Santorini but due to Covid it was postponed 2 months before we were due to fly. Two dates later we finally got hitched at our dream venue in Santorini on 10 September 2021. I couldn't have done it without Rachel at Ionian Weddings. Nothing was too much trouble and she was always there to quickly respond to the many emails that I sent. It really helps that she works very closely with the venue and the suppliers on the island so was able to put my mind at rest and I knew 100% that everything was being handled correctly, I totally trusted her which is a massive thing when you are not speaking to the suppliers face to face. All the legal stuff for me was a massive help as I wouldn't know where to start with translating documents, which stamps are required etc. If you want to organise a wedding overseas but you don't know where to start then I can't recommend Ionian enough. We had the perfect day, everything ran smoothly and everything was just as I hoped it would be.

Sep 23,2021Booking a wedding abroad can be so stressful worrying about paying out so much money to suppliers abroad. I spent hours researching checking out reviews etc but I needn’t have I can’t recommend Ionian Wedding enough. With 3 postponed dates they were fantastic. Always at the end of the phone and replied to emails within an hour. The itinerary was organised to the minute and we were totally in control of our day how we wanted it. Our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and it was all down to Ionian Weddings in particular Maria and Viola. Getting married in Italy was so beautiful and the Italians made such a fuss it really was a dream come true. I couldn’t recommended Ionian enough. Love the new… Mr and Mrs Fitzpatrick married in the Cloisters and Hillside Hidden Gem with a pre wedding meal the night before at the Lemon Gardens (because we couldn’t decide on which venue so had both!) Sorrento Italy.

Sep 21,2021We booked a wedding on Skiathos with IW back in 2019 for 2021, long before Covid was even a thing. 2020 hit and the world was thrown into uncertainty. Despite this, our planner in the UK kept us updated, gave us transparent and honest advice about how best to liase any potential issues trying to get married abroad following a worldwide pandemic. The day itself was perfect. I could not fault a single thing. The co-ordination between the UK team and the team members in Skiathos was seemless and everyone was so kind and personable. Special shout outs to Rachel (UK), George (Skiathos) and Nick (Photographer, Skiathos) as well as Despina who owned the restaraunt we used as our reception. Everyone seemed to have great working relationships and we felt in very safe hands. For anyone who is considering a wedding abroad, I fully recommend IW from the experience we have had. Sep 21,2021So happy with the service and all the support I received from Ionian Weddings to make sure I had the best wedding day. We booked our wedding in 2019 for in Italy to get married the following year in 2020 but due to Covid we had to postpone 3 times! This worried me at first but the team at Ionian Weddings (particularly Maria, Viola, and Lizzie along with Rosaria and Stacey) could not have been anymore helpful and supportive. They were constantly in touch with us to help us rearrange and any time i had any questions to ask or queries they were straight back in touch, putting me at ease and arranging with the local team in Italy. We got married a week ago and it couldn't have been anymore perfect thanks to the lovely team at Ionian Weddings. Everyone has commented how beautiful and amazing our day looked and it's all down to these guys! I would recommend to any future bride and groom, without doubt! They wanted our day to be just as perfect as we did and went above and beyond. Amazing company and amazing staff. Thank you. You helped us create a day we will never ever forget. Sep 15,2021We got married in August 2021, luckily we didn’t have to change our date like many brides and grooms. From booking our wedding with Gaby at the beginning she was amazing throughout the process, constant reassurance all my anxieties were very normal and nothing too much trouble. We also had Pat who took over for a while during lockdown, we found her helpful. The team over in Santorini were amazing! Sophia especially really went above and beyond for us. The meeting was easy on arrival and they did everything we asked on the day, it looked effortless for them. Thank you so much!!! Highly recommend them all.

Sep 14,2021After our original date of June 2020 was delayed due to covid, Rachel was fantastic in helping us along the journey to finally getting married in July 2021. We had multiple dates moved along the way however nothing was too much of a task for Rachel/Ionian. Rachel is really friendly and helpful and was a great planner for us. Once in Santorini we got the pleasure of working with Sophia who was amazing, helping with all our needs and requests and then being on hand throughout the day whenever needed, always in the background with advice/suggestions of what we were to do next. We got married in Cavo Ventus, an amazing venue and everything on the day was perfect (Although a little windy!) All in all a day we will remember forever and well worth the wait. Many thanks to Ionian weddings and Rachel and Sophia in particular.

Sep 13,2021Could not recommend Ionian weddings enough. At the start everything was straight forward and the staff were always happy to help with questions and queries. Then Covid happened couple of months before wedding. It was extremely stressful so postponed wedding for 15 months. The time in between Helen kept in contact and answered any questions we had even in the uncertainty of everything. She must of had loads of stressed and worried brides/grooms but always stayed pleasant and helpful. When we finally had our day it was even more perfect than expected.

Nov 09,2021Wow, I don’t even know where to start.. simply amazing! I could not have asked for anything more, anything better. We had our heart set on getting married in Portugal as that’s where we got engaged, we looked around for ages and we found nothing until.. a little more searching and we found Ionian weddings. From the very beginning they was amazing, answered all the questions I had before I even thought about booking. Maria was my wedding planner and she was just fabulous at everything! Every question I had no matter how small or how stupid she always got back to me straight away! We had so many worries about planning a wedding in a different country and not being able to do much yourself but honestly, if that’s how any of you are feeling you will be amazed with these ladies! Maria did everything to include me on every little thing. Everything that was included in the package was perfect! It couldn’t have been a better package. My wedding date was postponed twice but Maria was always there helping me through it and reassuring us all the way! When our day finally came on the 27th October 2021. It was simply, perfect! Everything we could have ever dreamed of and so much more and luckily for us, the weather was amazing. Maria, we can’t thank you enough, you have been a dream to work with and you made our dreams come true. Your amazing at your job and any couple will be blessed to have you as their wedding planner. Thank you again! We will never forget everything you have done for us and the hard work you put in to make our day special!!
