Sep 01,2021Rachel, Sophia and the rest do the team were unbelievable throughout the whole process in planning our wedding. We had the stress of moving our wedding from July 2021 to august 2021 in santorini. Where most people since the pandemic moved their weddings back a whole year we tried to move it back 3 weeks later and Ionian team were brilliant in helping us move our special day only 3 weeks later which was not easy, well they made it easy! So all 60 guests were able to. Thank you so much…

Aug 29,2021After a very stressful and unpredictable year, Luke and I were feeling very anxious and worried about our upcoming dream wedding in Rhodes. We booked our wedding with Ionian weddings in January 2021, just before the pandemic and got married this month (August 2021), during the pandemic. We were made to feel welcome and special right from the start. Due to the pandemic we weren’t able to see our wedding venue until 8 months after we booked it, but we were sent lots of photos and information about the venue which made us feel we had definitely made the right decision. We originally invited 30 guests but due to Covid-19, we had 15 guests attend our wedding. This did not matter as we still had the perfect day we had both dreamed of. We met Michele and Beverly a few days before our wedding day and they were both extremely helpful and went through all the details of the day and answered any questions we had. Michele was just a text or phone call away between our pre wedding meeting and the wedding day. They made us feel more relaxed and ready for our wedding day. The day itself ran smoothly and was everything we imagined it would be and more. On the day, Michelle and Alex were amazing, talking myself, Luke and our guests through all the next steps and what we had to do and where we had to go. We could not be more grateful for your help and support. Thank you. I honestly believe the violinist was one of the highlights I’ll remember from our wedding day. We were unsure at first whether to pay for a violinist, but we definitely made the right decision. Our ceremony would not have been the same without it. It was perfect and the emotion it brought to the ceremony was unbelievable. He had everyone in tears. He was the most talented violinist I have ever seen. Thank you so much. Everyone has been talking about the violin music since the wedding day. If anyone is unsure about an abroad/beach wedding, don’t be afraid. Do it! We have dreamt of this wedding since we were little and it was everything we dreamed of and more.

Aug 26,2021My wife and I (!) recently got married in Santorini (15th August) and it couldn't have gone better! Right from the start we were amazed at how reactive and supportive our planners Cassi and Rachel were, no matter how small the issue, they would respond via email or arrange a short notice zoom call, which given the time difference in Dubai was tricky at times! The flexibility with the guest number planning was a huge help especially with the uncertainty of travel at the time. Rachel was especially supportive right up to the big day and we couldn't thank her enough. The website for the wedding catalogue and booking form was user-friendly on the whole, and we were so pleased with the little touches on the day, the catering staff were so friendly and attentive, suffice to say our guests had a whale of a time! Aug 20,2021We had our wedding in July in Portugal and it was quite honestly the best day of our lives!! Due to COVID we had to change the date from August 2020 to July 2021 all of which was handled beautifully by our planner Maria. Quick communication via email sorted all questions out instantly! When we were in Portugal the planner over there (Marta) was also fabulous, nothing was ever too much trouble! The actual planning of the wedding (COVID issues aside!) was smooth and effortless, our day was stunning and we just loved it - I would definitely recommend an abroad wedding and using Ionian Weddings to plan it for you!! Aug 18,2021I’ve recently got married in Santorini (04/08/2021) and booked my wedding with Ionian back in November 2018. I chose then over other planners due to their friendliness and competitive prices, as well as being the quickest to respond. My correspondence with Ionian has been brilliant, I’ve had a few different planners since we initially booked but they were all quick to get back to me, friendly and informative. My planner Rachel who was my assigned co-ordinator for the last 18 months was just amazing, so friendly and helped get the wedding I wanted and adjusted my package where it wasn’t needed which was reassuring with weddings easily becoming expensive. Rachel was always just a call or email away and rearranged my wedding to the following year (due to covid) so quickly without any issues, I couldn’t fault her at all. She’s taken all the stress of planning away and was completely understanding and gave great advice when we weren’t sure whether to postpone from 2020. My wedding was incredible and I would recommend Ionian to anyone eloping in Greece! Thank you so much to Rachel, Sofia and the Ionian team!

Honestly from start to finish they couldn’t do enough… having postponed due to covid in 2020 it was very stressful planning for 2021 with all the uncertainties, Rachel was so reassuring and so helpful with updates right up to our wedding day, her input with all and little/ most important details where greatly appreciated! Once we arrived in Santorini and days before our wedding Sofia was so helpful… on the big day Sofia was present all day to make sure every single thing went perfectly! Wow what a day, what an experience… Thank you Rachel, Sofia and All the staff at Ionian wedding 👰 🤵♂️❤️🇬🇷

Aug 04,2021I started my booking with Ionian weddings in 2019 before, everything was smooth sailing and no stress at all planning the wedding. Maria has been amazing throughout and answered any questions i have had and is a lovely person to deal with. We viewed the venue with Marta in December 2019 and she was lovely too and answered any questions we had :) The stress only hit when covid came along which of course no one could predict a pandemic to ruin all our plans. We've changed dates a number of times and Maria has been great throughout and has ensured we've had a positive experience even with all the uncertainty with covid, we had to make a decision and cancelled the wedding for guests due to the uncertainty and now we are doing a ceremony for just us (bride and groom) which will now be next month.

Jul 26,2021Ionian were so helpful from start to finish planning our wedding in Santorini. Back when I initially sent enquiries and asked thousands of questions, right through to being in resort and even still now upon our return and our wedding has been and gone! Jack and I got married back in June this year just as the UK government traffic light system started and travel was uncertain. Ionian Weddings were very accommodating to all our last minute changes and our planner Rachel was very reassuring. Rachel has since helped us on our return to the UK with our documentation and has been liaising with our venue on a refund from the meals and drinks we did not receive (not a fault of Ionian). The communication and planning process for us was absolutely fine and I would recommend to anyone who wants stress free planning at a good price. Don't get me wrong, I did add on extras and booked with a few suppliers directly but of what was included in our package via Ionian (and you don't actually need to add anything on in all honesty) it was perfect, so thank you to the team!

Jul 20,2021After a stressful time of having to cancel our wedding due to the venue charging us to move it to next year due to covid, Ionian took our complaint seriously. They listened to how we felt and understood the implications and hurt it caused us. We are so thankful for their help and dedication to get our complaint sorted. They really went above and beyond considering it wasnt entirely their fault.

Jul 19,2021We started planning our wedding with Ionian Weddings in August 2020, firstly we spoke with Cassi via a virtual F2F meeting to go through any concerns we had, questions and potential destinations before then making our decision to get married abroad and to use Ionian Weddings to plan the event. Cassi was lovely and listened to us both and answered all our questions, she gave us time to think about all the information and then helped us get setup with Ionian Weddings when we decided we wanted to go ahead with our abroad wedding. We then spoke to Pat throughout 2020 to get most of the organising done, flying out to Portugal to see our original venue in September, where we got to meet the local wedding planner who would be at our wedding. The use of the catalogues to pick your extras is very helpful and makes the process very easy. I like the packages that Ionian offer, as it's very clear what is included and then the brochures allow you to tailor the day further if you want to. We then spoke with Maria throughout 2021 to finalise all of the details and confirm everything. Everyone at Ionian Weddings that we dealt with came across as very thorough, helpful and responsive, Maria especially. For us, 1 week before our wedding in Portugal, the government rules locally changed, which unfortunately meant our wedding wouldn't be able to go ahead. We spoke to Ionian about potential other options (including cancelling completely, postponing, as well as changing venues), they could not have been more helpful and sympathetic to our situation. They found an alternative venue with the same availability for the following week as our previously planned Portugal event, they assured us they could get the documentation changed and turned around within the required timescales and so we agreed to change the country! Ionian weddings helped us change our entire wedding to Cyprus in 3 days and everything went ahead as planned and was perfect. We didn't miss out on anything and we are extremely grateful to them for their help during this time! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to get married abroad, with us both being super organised and enjoying planning, we were worried that it wouldn't feel like we had had much of a say in our wedding but this is totally not the case with Ionian Weddings, to us it felt like the wedding was completely organised by us, with everything we wanted, but without any of the actual organising, co-ordinating or booking! Jul 01,2021We first booked our wedding in 2019 for a wedding to take place in Cyprus 2020. Booking a wedding had never been so easy! Helen, our planner, has been beyond amazing throughout, I really cannot pick out any faults we have encountered along the way. Unfortunately our wedding was postponed in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, as stressful and as heart breaking as this was, Helen made it as stress free as possible, we had a new date and all our plans had been easily moved over to the following year. Helen helped me settle decor plans with a brilliant eye for all of the small details a bride would wish for on her special day. She assisted us brilliantly with all of the legal side of things, and I never felt like I couldn’t ask any questions! Unfortunately, our 2021 wedding was fast approaching and again due to COVID this had to be cancelled, unfortunately due to personal reasons we could not set another date for the future, but Helen quickly looked into this and provided us with all the help she could. I really cannot recommend Ionian Weddings enough, although we didn’t get the wedding we planned, the service we were provided with was fantastic from start to finish, brilliant communication, consistently lovely and all around amazing! If you are planning a wedding abroad, Ionian Weddings is the place to go! I have never met the team personally but I trusted everything completely in their hands and that speaks volumes. I wish Ionian all the very best and I cannot wait to see their future weddings on their media platforms!

The planning from start to finish was amazing , they were really quick at responding to any queries I had , there was a lot due to travel restrictions. Rachel was my planner with some help from Patricia . They where both fantastic at organising every little detail and any requests I had would be sorted quickly . The process was very smooth , I picked what I wanted and they did the rest . Ionian weddings organised my perfect wedding in Santorini, the day was everything I could of ever wished for and more . Sofia was my planner in Santorini, who organised and made sure everything was running smoothly on the day , she was also amazing . If you want a fantastic experience and a perfect wedding then I would highly recommend Ionian weddings .

Jun 07,2021From the moment we got in touch with Ionian Weddings, the welcome was perfect. Cassi was fantastic, there was no pressure and no question was a silly question. Once the process moved forward, we had the pleasure of working with Helen. She has been brilliant from day 1. Everything was made clear, nothing was a problem and even during the Covid crisis, she reassured us we could work with it and made it all OK. The whole process was made so stress free, they took it all in hand and made sure we were perfectly happy with every decision made. The communication from Helen was so, so efficient which was such a reassurance and we were constantly kept up to date. They ticked every single box for us and the day itself was beyond everything we dreamt of. The team in Cyprus were also second to none and made the whole lead up to the day so relaxed and it all ran smoothly with not one hiccup. For anyone questioning whether to have an intimate beach wedding with the perfect wedding planning company then look no further. Ionian Weddings have exceeded all expectations and we couldn’t have asked for more!

Jun 02,2021My partner and I got engaged in December during the pandemic and we decided we would wait until 2023 for our wedding but would go ahead and start looking for venues etc. We did lots (and lots) of research and found Ionian weddings - they had everything we wanted for our perfect wedding and more. We have been emailing Cassi over the past few months, even chatted via Zoom and she's been amazing answering our many questions. We have officially booked our special day for September 2023 and we're looking forward to putting our dreams into place for our wedding closer to the time - thank you so much!

May 27,2021We had booked our wedding through the company 2 years ago , then due to covid had to reschedule dates and again we are waiting now 3rd time lucky. Maria and the team have been so helpful sorting things out. Hopefully it will go ahead this year ! This year has been stressful but I have no problems from the wedding team they have been so informative and been in touch on a regular basis too . We also went out to see the venue before and met up with the Italian team too , we were looked after very well .

May 19,2021I cannot fault Ionian Weddings! Amazing service! We have been speaking with Ionian since 2019 as we were planning our destination wedding in Italy. We were first put in touch with Lizzie who was incredibly helpful, friendly & took the whole stress of the wedding planning process out of our hands from the very start of our experience. We met with Lizzie in early 2020 at the office & it was so exciting to meet with her in person after lots of excited emails back & forth. We sadly had to postpone our wedding due to covid & again Lizzie just took the entire stress load off us & handled everything, all it took was one phonecall with Lizzie & it was all left with her. Maria recently took over our planning & has again been so helpful & taken so much stress out of the process. We cannot thank Ionian enough! We are so gutted to have had to cancel our wedding abroad now due to so many uncertainties around travel, and we are just keen to get married now. However I hope to be back in touch with Ionian for some form of vow renewal ceremony in the future. Apr 06,2021Me and my partner got engaged in December during the pandemic, we decided we would wait until 2023 for our wedding but would go ahead and start looking for venues etc, we got in touch with Ionian weddings after we spotted them on a website. We have over the last couple of months been back and forth talking with cassi to get our wedding booked and asking info and she has been absolutely fantastic and been a brilliant help throughout. Our wedding is now officially booked for 2023 thanks to the help of Cassi and we can not wait going to forward to get plans in place. Thank you again x

Sep 07,2021Absolutely blown away by our experience in these pressing times! From start to finish the service we have received has been second to none. Helen from Ionian weddings was our wedding planner and she has been there from start to finish to help us get our wedding across the line. After having to postpone from September 2020 to August 2021 Helen guided us through every question and detail we needed to make our day complete! For anyone having doubts about getting married abroad our advice would be do it and use Ionian weddings!!! We chose the venue for its authentic style and to say it lived up to its expectations is nothing short of an understatement. We can’t thank Helen and the team at Ionian for supporting us through the past 2 years of planning! One of the biggest concerns we had was being abroad with no contact but Ionian had every detail covered, they handed us to a local wedding planner who finished off with the same service as Ionian started and promised. Debbie our local wedding planner treat us like both and friend and a client to help make the day flow perfect!! The venue we chose was 5*+ both for aesthetics, views and service and given the chance we would do it all over again. Thank you Helen, Debbie and all of the team at Ionian and Liopetro for the memories you have helped us create and cherish forever!! Eternally grateful!! If we could rate more than five stars we absolutely would x
