Jun 03,2024We used Ison Harrison for both sale & purchase on the advice of our estate agent, originally allocated to a solicitor at the Harrogate branch who was an absolute disgrace to the profession. Ignored phone calls and emails, rude conduct, unnecessary delays, poor advice and a complete lack of professionalism throughout. We endured months of avoidable stress. After several months we were eventually reallocated to a new solicitor at the Bingley branch who actually cared about client experience and was very competent at her job. We only discovered our case had been reallocated however when phoning the solicitor at the Harrogate branch following yet another ignored email, and halfway through the phone call his assistant out of nowhere said ‘you do know we’re not dealing with this anymore’. When I submitted a complaint there was no accountability whatsoever and attempts to fob me off with a ‘goodwill gesture’ which only added insult to injury. Customers should not have to get angry in order to be listened to and compensated for a poor experience. They have now refunded me with a more appropriate sum but I have not received a genuine apology for the experience we had or any indication of how the complaint will be addressed with the original solicitor. I wish I had taken time to read the reviews on Trust Pilot as I can see I’m not the only one who has had this experience.

May 30,2024Infuriating service. I will not mention the name of the solicitor as there is a chance she is overworked and it is not entirely her fault, but she has still been deceptive, oblivious and is currently running the risk of breaking my chain. I am in contact with the buyer directly who is constantly contradicting the solicitor (saying certain forms haven't been finished when they have been) and asking the same questions ad nauseum. I am selling in England and buying in Scotland, I gave ample time to complete the sale, but after three months we were still being asked initial questions, some of which we had already answered, some of which multiple times! I am currently at risk of breaking the chain and losing my property in Scotland. I have moved a few times now and this is honestly one of the most stressful and infuriating experiences I have ever had. Avoid like the plague.

Leashia and Sarah responded promptly, they were always available, and they knew their stuff. Previously I have found the whole house moving process incredibly stressful but this time it was so much easier, thanks to Ison Harrison!

May 15,2024AVOID AVOID AVOID. at the Guiseley branch, especially Rebecca Austin. This woman thinks £££££ Took on my very frail 92 year old Mothers will 2 weeks before she died. Without checking her capacity to understand everything this woman has said to her. Mum was at the beginning of Dementia, the denial stage and was starting to get tested but kept cancelling the visits. Mum thought her next door neighbour was a solicitor too but wasn’t, they just manipulated her into going with Ison Harrison’s at Guiseley. At the time of Rebecca going round to mums to take on another will Mum had a broken wrist from a fall, her hand and arm was completely black but never asked what Mum had done. Although the fall was a week before Rebecca came to Mums house, and still made her sign the will with a heavily bruised hand. At the time of Mums death I rang Rebecca to inform her of the sad news. At no point did this woman pass on her condolences!!! Rebecca has breached GDPR twice ! Accusations and assumptions towards us without checking facts first. I sent a complaint in as per their protocol, and after eight weeks not had an acknowledgment or reply. Please look up the protocol for Ison Harrison solicitors. I asked a question with regards to certification of my self and daughter never got an answer to my question, but came back avoiding the direct question. Myself and my daughter work at a vets and wanted to know if the senior vets could certify. I already knew the answer but they just wouldn’t respond. Rebecca just seems applied to making our lives even more difficult.

May 05,2024An excellent journey with Ison Harrison who helped with the selling of our old home and the purchase of a new build home. The process was very easy and simple with nearly all the various forms we needed to complete being available online. No pages to print out, complete or post back. We were easily able to access the completed documents again after we had submitted them when needed for future reference. Kirsty Blinkhorn and her team provided help promptly by email or over the phone if we had any queries. Ison Harrison were recommended by Miller Homes. Their professional charges for the purchase of our new home were very competitive against the terms on offer from a local solicitor. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them.

May 05,2024If I could give ZERO stars I would. I would avoid these useless solicitors at all cost. They do not know what they are doing and have left me with a situation I would never have dreamt in a million years. I bought a property which did not have proper planning permission and I was never alerted to this. All they are after is your hard earned money. They were supposed to get indemnity insurance from the sellers solicitors Gordon Brown law and I would avoid them at all cost as they have not done what they were supposed to do. I have complained to Rachel Warsop who is useless and never returns your calls. I will be seeking compensation via Litigation Solicitor when my current transaction completes. These lot must think they are above the law but have a shock coming their way very soon.

From providing face to face consultancy to providing input into key legal documents Afzal has been excellent. I attended a hearing in order to obtain an occupation order on my property and Afzal provided great advice and direction to ensure I was able to navigate each part of the hearing in the best way possible. I was successful in obtaining the occupation order which was largely down to the great advice and input from Afzal and Ison Harrison.

May 01,2024We had an appointment with Jordan to complete and sign a will, he was very friendly and polite. Very happy with his service all round. The premises in Castleford are difficult to access with a large amount of steep steps. My sister dropped us off at the front and pulled in off the busy road to the car park at the side to wait. Unfortunately she had an extremely rude exchange with a Mr. Richard Pinto who blocked her in in the car park, shouting and being generally disrespectful. Very abrupt man, no manners. We will not be carrying out any further business with the company.

From start to finish she has been unlike any conveyancer I’ve used before - really responsive and easy to get hold of, made the process really simple, really easy to communicate with and most importantly just gets what needs to be done promptly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend and I will use them again for any future work that needs doing

Jun 03,2024Leashia & Sarah from the Guiseley Branch were fantastic. The communication was incredibly quick and all my questions were answered quickly & in a way that I was able to understand. The whole process was very quick too, for which I'm very grateful. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
