Total incompetence from the repair team. Installation went well but machine broke down within 4 weeks. 2 visits from Engineer? now 4 weeks later I am still paying extra staff to wash and sanitize by hand in a very busy kitchen. Last 2 booked visits, no show from JLA. Not in a good place with this Company.

Once again let down by the service team - our largest machine has been out of operation for over three weeks. After almost daily calls, I was given today's date for a fix. Once again, the 'engineers have been unexpectedly delayed and will not attend today'. Rescheduled for Monday (??) by which time our laundry backlog will be even bigger. We've been a customer for many years with machines on maintenance contract. We rarely ask for help but it seems whenever we do, we have these delays.

The installation process with this company is so bad, it’s unbelievable. I ordered 3 machines in March and they still havent properly installed them. No fault of COVID, just pure incompetence. They’ve sent 7 or 8 different people, who all slag the others and the company off for being so bad! Ive had 3 or 4 ‘install dates’, then a chap turns up (one guy twice), and then he walks off with no feedback apart from ‘not me guv’ attitude. After sales repair is good to be fair - but Sales and Install couldnt be worse. i gave them a 2nd and 3rd chance on different sites, but NEVER AGAIN. AVOID!!!

I have emailed customer resolutions twice now with no reply. Shocking service from jla with several complaints, the most important one being that a contract has been extended/resigned without my knowledge or consent last august.

Amazing service, even during a pandemic. From the help desk administrator to the engineer arriving, each step of the engineers visit is updated with the customer by email, text and phone call. Practically perfect in every way.

Our JLA dishwasher - repaired last Friday 23rd July - just broke down again on Wed 28th. JLA have finally agreed to replace this useless piece of equipment but this has not happened yet. In the meantime we are without the dishwasher for the 3rd time in a month! If JLA had replaced this faulty machine when I asked them to at the start of 2021, this problem wouldnt exist. DO NOT LET THEM FOB YOU OFF WITH FAULTY EQUIPMENT!

Have to laugh... On the phone and their opening gambit is 'customer service is our primary focus' What an absolute joke. It should read 'company profit is our only focus'

Very expensive and not good customer services at all Paid for new machine Install and confirmed the date wasted my day as Install not happened.Raised complaint no one bothered so JLA Lost 5k and i am moving to another vendor for new machine Install

Time for an update on my JLA nightmare! After being left for two months with 2 broken down dryers that were beyond repair (both dryers on the total care contract) JLA finally turned up to replace them. The two new dryers are in but auto dry function doesn’t work on either dryer, and one has an intermittently faulty door switch which makes it think the door is open when it is closed preventing it from running. They left the two old dryers on the pavement outside my shop window having not arranged for them to be taken away. Despite calling to ask them to be removed and yet another empty promise of a call back to arrange this, I had to pay a local company to come and take them as it was a terrible image for my shop and for the street, looked like I was running a scrap yard! Oh did I mention they want full payment for the dryers for the entire time they were left broken in my shop! Crooks!! This is really just the tip of the JLA nightmare Iceberg and I will share more soon if they don’t resolve things.

I Would of preferred to no stars. I have been a customer of JLA for over 20 years. Over the last 5/8 years their customer service, repairs, infact everything about the company is diabolical. Previously do to lack of support, lack of customer service, lack of fit for purpose machines, I have threatened to put their machines on the doorstep and they could collect them. But oh no because you will be charged the remaining rental as per contract. My contracted ended in Nov 20, of which I gave them written notice in June 20 to terminate my contract and to remove all their property from site on 19Nov 20, which was my contract end date. They didn’t remove and finally came in Feb 21 when the home had closed down due to Covid 19. Even tho my contract had come to an end and I had terminated it in writing, they are now attempting to charge me till Feb 21 at £1000 per month, also for duct cleaning of £380 pounds, which I don’t think was carried out, previously they attempted to charge for this service in 2014, of which I objected and they waive red the cost. So I am now being threaten with County Court, it’s laughable, over the period I have been contracted with them they have been paid in rental over 120,000 and want more, for a disgusting impersonal, poor quality service and as I and many others have I experienced with long repair delays, parts not being available, machines not being fit for purpose, no response from enquiries, and when there is they are rude and unhelpful, one lady in particular I have had dealings with. The list is endless. SO PLEASE ANYONE CONSIDERING RENTAL FROM THIS FIRM, BE WARNED READ THE OTHER REVIEWS ON THIS SITE, ALL IS TRUE, LOOK UP WASHSTATIONS ALSO.

They are so slow to respond to fixing issues. Whenever you complain they try and upsell you a more expensive support package. We are going into the third week of having a leaking dishwasher and JLA just don't seem to care. Please save yourself the hassle and avoid them.

I reported the tumble dryer fault at 7.30am and within six hours it was back in action and working hard to dry our mountains of laundry. Thank you to all concerned especially the Engineer that made sure that it was working properly after the repair.

An excellent start and will probably justify an extra star next time around. First visit relatively routine to service a dishwasher, but efficiently carried out, knowledgeable and friendly engineer. Bodes well for the future.

Unfortunately due to a dishwasher breakdown (in a care home) the engineer arrived promptly, within 24hrs of the initial call, he informed that the control board has packed up and that a new one was needed. We waited 8 days before contacting JLA to find out the replacement board is obsolete and we would require a new machine. I asked when we were actually going to be informed of this, to which no response other than a 'I'm sorry'. As this was the 2nd machine (same model and brand) in less than 3 years I requested a discussion on changing the machine completely, I was informed the sales team would call back. I waited until 4pm (being a care home everyday is an extra workload on the team) I heard nothing so I phoned again, to be put on hold then cut off! Due to the 'tight' contract unfortunately we are now stuck with no working equipment, no service without yet another battle, and trying to deal with an impossible company.... this is not the first time we have had major problems with this company. 15/07/21 Update, I was very hopeful this was going to be a really good positive updated review as I was eventually contacted by JLA, it was agreed the dishwasher is unfixable and they agreed to send an engineer to open it as it requires power for the door to be opened as it is the main board that has gone, such an unusual problem it would take to long to get the parts. Also agreed that we would get a replacement dishwasher. Due to this being the second dishwasher in less than 3 years and us now having purchased a replacement one from currys so the staff aren't breaking their backs, I asked to be released from the contract due to the amount of time the dishwasher(s) have not been working, the fact we have had to chase agreed refunds for when the machine(s) have been out of action and the poor service. Yes we can be released from the contract, but only if we pay up the remainder of the time (almost another 4 years!!) Very unfair under the circumstances, I believe this is a reasonable request. Hence JLAs Ts and Cs don't cover reasonable requests. So we are stuck in a contract, we still do not have a working JLA machine because the said replacement has still not turned up, and I'm guessing they are expecting us to keep on paying our monthly charge......... come on JLA a bit of fair customer service here please.
