Apr 09,2024I was recently summoned to the Chester Magistrates Court for a motoring offence. A new and daunting experience for me. I contacted JMW 10 days prior to the case and was extremely pleased with the service provided, particularly by Helen Kelsall. I can't speak highly enough of her. She responded to all my messages promptly, took the time to answer my questions and was very clear and knowledgeable about how to move my case forward. After speaking with Helen, I felt immediately reassured that I was in very competent and professional hands. On the day of my hearing, Helen had obviously prepared very thoroughly for my case and I felt extremely well represented. She clearly understood all the fine details of my case and put a very strong case forward. I would highly recommend Helens services to anyone facing a similar issue to mine. She understood how important this case was for me personally. She is professional, hard-working and communicates very well. My case ended with a successful outcome which would not have been possible without Helen. Thank you once again for all the help.

Mar 22,2024Charged with carless driving, I contacted JMW for legal Advice. They were quick to appoint Helen Kelsall, who updated me with all the possible outcomes to the charge. I asked for her services taking into account my particular situation and facing a possible tooting up ban. Helen Kelsall, support and guidance through the case prevented the tooting up driving ban. An outcome which I so desperately needed for my family and work.

Mar 15,2024JMW Negligence / Internal Cover – up / Misguided advice A case lasting four years. JMW have cost me around £20,000 JMW provided incorrect advice by recommending the placement of a caveat in my step-grandmother's name. THEN continued to work the file in the incorrect name. Halfway through the case, another solicitor from JMW took over and advised that the aforementioned caveat was incorrectly placed in the wrong name. It needed to be removed and replaced under my grandad's name. THIS is then acknowledges the caveat was incorrect. The new solicitor from JMW persists in pursuing past fees accrued by advising on "pre-court costs." This approach has led to JMW accruing additional fees. A qualified solicitor must then surly advise their client it was in the incorrect name, we should not pursue previous costs as a duty of care. The solicitor representing my step-grandmother has now invoiced me £6,000 as the final settlement amount for their legal fees. Their defence is that the original caveat should not have been placed under my step-grandmother's name; instead, it should have been under my bloodline grandfather's name. This isn't a case of losing - I was told to place a caveat in the wrong name, JMW worked the file in the wrong name, they then proceed to advise me there's a chance we can claim previous monies back. For anyone seeking a probate Wills professional - please think twice !!!!!!

Mar 15,2024Nicholas Young was my solicitor through an extremely lengthy clinical negligence claim. A mixture of standard hold ups and the Covid pandemic extended my claim greatly but Nick supported me through every step of the way. There were times that I could, quite easily, have walked away due to the upset and emotional upheaval! Despite all of this Nick was readily available to answer my questions or alleviate my concerns. Nick worked extremely hard to secure a multi-million pound payout that I will always be grateful for! Not only do I now not have to worry about the future but I can have the best private treatments moving forward.
