Jan 18,2024For the first time ever in my life I required a Criminal Solicitor. Despite me knowing I was innocent I found the experience to be extremely stressful and upsetting. I will forever be grateful for the experience and advice given to me by my solicitor Rob Taberner. Rob settled my nerves and had the personal skills to ensure I was supported both emotionally and in terms of legal guidance. I have finally had my name cleared and hope never to go through such a experience ever again. I can only praise Rob for his services and hope he knows how much I value his assistance in what has been the hardest time in my life.

Jan 18,2024Madeleine and all the other members of the team involved in dad’s claim were exemplary. We were consulted and informed as to procedures, every step of the way. They had genuine empathy for our case and worked extremely hard to achieve the best possible outcome for dad. JMW immediately realized dad’s case was worth taking on and fighting for, where other law firms were not willing to do so. They not only took the case on, they achieved a significant win on our behalf, and we are extremely grateful for this. No amount of compensation will make up for the clinical negligence endured by dad, which has left him permanently scarred, however it’s a bitter sweet satisfaction to feel that those to blame have been brought to account. Thank you Madeleine and the whole JMW team for all your wonderful help and support throughout the whole process.

Jan 12,2024To cut a long story short, I exposed a scam in court that was being operated by ParkingEye and Popla. They were basically colluding to rip off innocent motorists - preying particularly on the old and disabled, who scare easily and pay up when they deliberately ignore all evidence. Following the court case, I asked the directors of ParkingEye for an apology and heard nothing. As the journalist advised me - "when a scammer gets confronted they tend to crap themselves and run to the hills like cowards", which is clearly what happened in this case. I did then "troll them Joe Lycett fashion" in order to evoke a response and without making any contact with me, they appointed JMW Solicitors in Manchester to confront me as "they were suffering from distress". When a solicitor takes on a case, it's normal practice for it to be delegated to someone with sufficient competence. That person should do some due diligence - familiarise themselves with the facts and get an understanding of what the case is about. The solicitor at JMW did none of these things and emailed me with a threatening and aggressive tone, even inferring that I was some sort of right wing racist, trying to intimidate an innocent company into waiving a parking fine. He basically didn't have a clue what he was talking about and was duped by these scammers into totally misunderstanding the case. When you fail to do your research, you very much risk flying off the handle and spieling a load of slanderous garbage. The only reason I've given an extra star here is because the practice manager took my complaint seriously. The solicitor in question was stunned, rocked backwards on his heels and was sent packing with his tail between his legs. I think he was taught a very valuable lesson. I'm sure there are plenty of good solicitors at this firm and hopefully they've improved their procedures on the back of my complaint. If not, it is possible that you may have quite an appalling experience. I'll point out that I've never had any sort of apology and you'll note that nobody from the firm has commented below - speaks volumes!

He was extremely patient, showed empathy and cut through to the facts very quickly. During negotiations Tom kept me focussed on the bigger picture, with a dose of reality, rather than just the number, he has the ability to resolve your issue quickly and efficiently. They sent me the document quickly, so I had plenty of time to read it thoroughly before signing. Scott helped me contact the developer to arrange the right time to complete it. then I no need to rush. Samantha let me have a clear view of my statement which is essential for my schedule review.
