Sep 19,2023We were super impressed with James, his professionalism and patience. Simply, nothing too was much trouble. He explained everything about the trike and we couldn't believe how many extras come as standard, it is a superb piece of engineering. They also arranged for us to collect the trike in a couple of days so that we can take it back home with us at the end of our stay in beautiful York. Simply outstanding. Thank you James and Rosie. PS… Big shout out to Elton too, who along with his sidekick’Jack’ 😁🐦⬛helped us with a very smooth collection process. Indicators being delivered today. Thank you all again.

Sep 15,2023Jorvik helped me to resolve a charging issue with my electric trike, even though I bought it second hand from another consumer! Turns out it was not the original Jorvik charger and buying the right one solved the problem. Also provided some screws I needed, which was very kind. Great customer service.

Sep 13,2023Rosie was extremely helpful in listening to my needs and what it was that I wanted. Extremely professional start to finish and extremely professional. The aftercare was brilliant and was always on hand to answer any questions I had whether this was down to parts or services or how the tricycle worked. Rosie was kind and very down to earth as were the rest of the team. Would highly recommend if you want a hassle and stress free experience buying your first tricycle!!

Sep 09,2023As part of holiday from Inverness we had arranged a visit to enable my wife to try out the trikes. We met with James who was outstanding in his knowledge and was very patient and helpful with my wife explaining the different characteristics of the range of trikes. He guided her on the handling characteristics until she got the hang of how to steer the trike, initially manually pedalling then using the electric assist mode What is also a fantastic help is the company can accept a deposit then pay balance and arrange a delivery for Feb/March next year. Pre booking your visit ensures you have the personal attention for 1 hour without any interruption from other potential customers. It is an excellent way to deal with customers. Now we have seen the trikes in person rather than on line pictures we can see the high quality in the manufacture of these trikes. We were happy to place an order whist we were there

Sep 06,2023I have been a cyclist for many years and hoped the three wheeled trike would be easy to handle and help balance issues.The trike is difficult to ride on road cambers and pothholes.The videos suggested are all American and the riders are not on busy British roads where I wish to ride.There is little useful advice about how to keep the trike level on turns etc.

Sep 05,2023We visited Jorvik for my wife to try out a trike. She previously rode bicycles but now can't because of balance problems. We were warmly welcomed by Rosie and we're introduced to Elton who helped my wife try out several trikes. She was very nervous but Elton was very supportive, patient and encouraging. He made the whole experience fun for us both. We had a thorough discussion about the characteristics of front hub or mid drive before my wife settled on the one she liked best. Elton made us tea while Rosie took us through the sales process. As we were going away on holiday Rosie suggested delaying despatch until our home arrival date. We chose Jorvik after research online. There aren't many alternatives but we thought the Jorvik bikes looked better so we decided to visit by appointment. All in all, this was an excellent experience. We haven't yet received the trike so I will submit another review at a later date.

Sep 01,2023Having to give up my driving license, due to the progressive nature of Parkinson’s Disease, seemed to be the loss of my independence. My purchase of a Jorvik Elite Mid-Drive Dual Battery Electric Folding Tricycle JET-E2 restored it. My daily commute of 11 miles with a climb of 870 feet is not easy but I’m fitter for it. A 6 mile round trip to the local shops is now a doddle.

Now enjoying the freedom it gives as my husband can now join me on our cycle rides, although he is now faster than me. Great product and excellent customer service.

Tricycle in stock and order placed without popping up to York to try first. Tricycle arrived when stated and in 100% good condition. Watched the video at same time as putting it together - hassle free :)

Aug 06,2023I recently purchased a JMT9. I was a bit wobbly on it at first as I am an experienced cyclist. I went for a visit to a caravan site recently and wnted to transpot my trike there. I have a Zafira in which i had to fit the trike. to that end I bought a pair of ramps; I advise the longer the better. I removed the saddle and folded the handle bars. I also needed to remove the front wheel (only possible on the mid drive models). I found that to do this, and to refit it, it is best to tilt the bike so that it is resting on the carrier at the back. This unfortunately abrades the paint from the carrier. My suggestion to avoid this is to fit bumpers on the carrier. This is my only complaint and I think the JMT9 is a great trike. I enjoy riding it.

Aug 05,2023Had a run over to jorvik tricycles this week following ringing to book an appointment. Really impressed. A nice family business feel to it. Staff knowledgeable,friendly and approachable. Got to look at all the different tricycles which is always good. All models explained with the background to the firm start tp present. The tricycles seem to a high standard,be made for comfort and the electric side will a plus for my worn knees. From what I experienced one to look at if you are in the market for going electric. 10/10

We had the opportunity to ride the trike we were interested in. All in all we couldn't have asked for more from our visit.

Jul 26,2023Overweight and with a couple of dodgy knees, I found that I was unable to ride the lovely e-bike which my husband bought me and was absolutely gutted. I chanced across Jorvik Tricycles, bit the bullet and made an appointment (without telling husband). I cannot thank James enough for giving me back the confidence to get in the saddle again. He had me riding round the car park in minutes, quickly realised that I needed a ROM pedal (who knew such things existed?), fitted it and WOW what a game changer. I cannot wait for my Trike (bright red, and to be named Pat as it makes me think of the Post Office) to arrive and to be able to get out on the road. Thank you Thank you Thank you

Jul 22,2023Both of us are in our later eighties and found that bicycles no longer felt safe so rang and ordered two ex display tricycles and they arrived a day ahead of expectations which was nice. It took sometime to put the first trike together but much less for the second, the use of Allen keys to tighten all the bolts was great. we are still getting used to the different ride and the power of the `power assist'. We had a couple of minor problems (a missing widget on the saddle fixture and a cracked plastic clamp) but these were quickly sorted, without demur, by Rosie

Sep 19,2023James was incredibly helpful and very patient. He showed us everything we needed to see and answered all our questions fully. The trial on the trike was essential as I have not ridden a trike before and James helped to give me confidence to ride it. He spent a lot of time working with me at my pace. We were so pleased with the experience that we ordered a trike before we left, which has now arrived only a week later.
