Feb 02,2023My family and I could not have been happier with #4 Dolphin Cottage. Spectacular views of the mountains and the Hanelei River. The cottage is quiet, clean, spacious, and well equipped with good kitchen utensils, beach chairs, grill and patio, outdoor shower. The location is great- easy walk to beaches and shops; easy drive to fabulous beaches and hikes. The management company was very helpful and attentive.

Feb 02,2023The management company was responsive and helpful when we needed them! They were very thorough with all the condo instructions. The unit was clean and nice! It would have been nice to have a parking spot assigned to the unit. But, we made it work in the spaces available next door!

Jan 24,2023Check-in was easy with responsive staff via the app that was recommended. Temperature for all hot tubs should be the same, one was hotter than the two others which made the one popular and overcrowded, we only got to use it once during our 7 day stay. Later hours for the bar would be nice, 9pm seems early. Overall, great place to visit and kid friendly, plenty to do in the area outside the resort.

Jan 22,2023Everything was good at condo except the handle on sliding glass door kept falling off. They came and fixed it once, but fell off again before we left. We loved the resort! It was in a great location where we did lots of walking. We stayed for 10 days and we found not enough storage my husband lived out of his suitcase. Would I stay in this unit again? The answer would be no. For the reason of lack of privacy being on the ground floor. I would definitely come back to resort, but would like upper level and oceanfront. We were next to the pool which wasn't a problem it was quiet when inside. Also a few suggestions; hooks on back of bathroom doors would be a plus in order to hand towels and a robe. Not enough silverware.

Jan 22,2023Every person we interacted with was so kind. We were supported and accommodated every step of the way. I was traveling solo with a five month old and a five year old. The team arranged for us to check in on the day I called and had someone meet me to help carry my bags. We got Covid and Michael, the manager who lived on sight reached out to see how he could help. We extended our trip and the team was so kind and fantastic as was the house and the location. I cannot recommend enough. So much integrity and kindness

Jan 21,2023Having a whole house to ourselves and not sharing a swimming pool with anyone was great. Our host had beach umbrella's, chairs and toys for the kids, even a boogie board! 20 minute walk to beach or a 2 minute drive, either way, we had fun!

Our checkin wasn’t a smooth one, we went into an 80F home being told AC was out of service and took us the whole evening to finally realize the AC was in fact working and getting the house cooled down so we could sleep! There was a conversation about reimbursement which we never heard from and we didn’t let it ruin the vacation. Other than that a good experience overall. The house is super clean and new but kitchen could be better stocked and dishes in a better shape(many are chipped).

Jan 11,2023Place was nice. Furniture in the living room is out dated and stained. We also had no wifi when we were there so had to use our data ($12) a day each to get maps and download trails/ activities. Kitchen is missing some cooking items, but we went out for dinner so it didn’t effect us. I’d probably stay somewhere a bit nicer next time but over all place was fine for 3 nights (first night we didn’t get in until after 10pm).

Jan 09,2023We were in Nihi Kai unit 601. The unit itself was very well equipped with everything we needed. The upstairs part of the unit was fine but the two bedrooms were located in the walkout basement at ground level with both bathrooms downstairs which was very inconvenient. One bedroom had a king but was outfitted with an extremely fluffy type foam king mattress which we couldn't use, no support whatsoever. The other bedroom was two single beds with cheap mattresses, very uncomfortable. The description given to get to the parking lot was totally confusing and turned out to be incorrect and it led you to the next door property parking lot, it needs to be corrected with the mention that the unit is in building 6 out of the 8 buildings in the complex. Also that parking lot was first come, first serve not assigned parking. However the pool was great but was lacking a hot tub. Overall this unit gets a 6 or7 out of 10 but was way overpriced.
