May 14,2022We stayed at Waipouli Beach Resort with Kauai Exclusive Mgmt. We rented two condos with KE. They were responsive, the app worked great, and check-in and out was easy. When we checked out we left an item in one of the units we rented, and they phoned us, which was great. We were still on property so we got it back easily. Our kitchen was well stocked for cooking for a family and a nice beginning supply of dish & laundry soap and paper towels. We used the BBQ's a few evenings for dinner. They were so clean! Loved having all of our family over to our oceanfront balcony. And the pool and hot tub was great! We even were able to go into the ocean in front of the resort. We feel there were quite a few small things that needed attention in our oceanfront condo. We paid for a luxury oceanfront/ ocean view, but the windows needed to be cleaned upon arrival. There were a number of lights out, a fan not working, no blinds or blinds not working on a bedroom window. They replaced some of the lights, but there was still one they didn't replace. The fan couldn't be fixed until they spoke to the owner. They put up blinds, but they didn't work properly. Recap: KE was responsive when I messaged them through the app. That part worked great. We feel that there shouldn't have been so many issues that we needed to let them know about. It took away from the relaxation of our vacation. One or two little issues wouldn't have been a problem. These were things that could've and should've been taken care of before guests check in. Bottom Line: After all is said and done, our multigenerational family had a dream vacation adventuring on Kauai and we would stay at Waipouli Beach Resort again. Kapa'a is a great location on the island. Easy to go north or south.

May 12,2022We rented 3 condos for our family trip. They all were so nice and clean. Perfect set up for 15 people. The kids loved the pool and we all loved the hot tubs. We are ready to go back. So nice to have washers and dryers in each condo. Loved the location.

May 08,2022Team was quick to respond to calls about issues in the condo; however, several of the issues we noted upon arrival (leaking emergency sprinkler, running toilet) and took days to be fixed. We heard audible roof maintenance daily (we were not made aware that it would be happening during our stay), which woke up our toddler during nap time. On departure day we not only had someone knock on our door 2 hours before check-out to remind us of check out time, but also received a phone call on the condo phone about an hour later- seemed a bit excessive. Kitchen overall well stocked with dishes, but could've used more forks as well as some basic cooking items (oil, salt, pepper). Corkscrew was terrible. Pool a little chilly. The property itself was ideal for our family. The issues during our stay brought our rating down, but there is a lot of potential in this property.

May 06,2022We spent a week on Kauai, staying at Waipouli Resort in Kapa’a and it was the right choice for us. Celebrating our 52nd wedding anniversary, we enjoyed coffee on our balcony each morning, overlooking the beautiful pool and the ocean beyond. We fixed a few meals in the room, and we’re so glad to have the washer and dryer IN our unit. The location was perfect, as we rented a car and drove north to Princeville a couple days, and south and west another couple times, and had time to relax by the pool. Having a convenient place across the road was really nice to pick up essentials and some food for meals. I’d recommend guests bring packets of sugar, creamer, salt and pepper, as we were unable to find small amounts to use in our unit for the week. I highly recommend using Kauai Exclusive for your stay on Kauai! Make sure to rent a place with the ocean and pool view. I thought I’d add a few details about our unit. It was very well-appointed with paper towels, dishwasher detergent and even liquid detergent for doing hand-washing. We had an ice maker, the dishwasher and stove seemed to be brand new and we had laundry detergent to throw in a couple loads of clothes. Hand soap, shampoo and conditioner were a nice touch. Ceiling fans were helpful, tv worked like a charm (we didn’t turn it on in the bedroom). Wifi worked great. The whole place was clean and welcoming - just perfect!

May 06,2022A true disappointment. We choose our vacations for the location as much as the pools. This pool, though beautifully set, was so cold you could not enjoy getting in because it was soooo cold. Management had turned off the heat. After the first day i called our management company and they explained that as soon as the weather gets up to 80 degrees they turn it off. Well it was never over 77degrees while we were there. Then after speaking with ground workers, they explained it was due to chlorine shortage. All sites advertised HEATED pool! The few people in the pool were wearing full shirts or wetsuits! Definitely was a huge bummer. As for the room, I gave it a 2 star because it was clean. But…the carpets are a true hazard. They were wrinkled and needed re-stretching desperately, if not totally replaced. I can’t believe their insurance company has not dinged them on that yet. The stove was a challenge to cook on (couldn’t even get an egg white to cook through on high) so that limited that part of the trip as well. The dishwasher door was a challenge as it was broken and needed to be finagled to shut. Be prepared to buy everything for kitchen. Including paper towels, salt and pepper, etc.. I understand with the Covid issue that it may be their policy to clean out everything, but we have stayed in at least 7 condos in various places, including during Covid era, and it was never that bare. There are no extras such as beach chairs, ice chests, etc., and though it was not listed that it did, I hadn’t realized how nice it was to have access for those items. There were no instructions left in the room (you know, like those nice books for the little things) only an email we got before checking in. The email did not have the correct Wi-Fi password and they instructions for the tv remote were a joke. The bedroom was poorly lit, even in the daytime, but they did have amazing darkening shades. 👍 in the instruction from management company they specifically wrote not to use front desk/lobby services as we were renting through third party. So I called Kauai Exclusive to get a few more towels because they did not leave enough for 3 people for a week, but they never showed up with them. Location was very convenient to grocery store and centrally located, but it lacked that special something in this area. When we go back we will stay in Poipu again or go north to Princeville.

Their communication was great—offering to help book activities and checking in to make sure everything was working well. It was a great stay—beautiful island, nice condo, and professional service. Would recommend!

May 05,2022Beautiful property! Through the full fold away patio door, the view was amazing. Easy walk to great shopping and several good restaurants but you’ll want a car to go further afield. Beach is small but wildly beautiful. The condo has everything you need to cook a great meal. Loved the wine fridge!! Definitely would stay again.

May 15,2022They changed the unit from when I booked. The new unit was similar but the view looked better in the original one. I didn’t realize that the unit number had changed until my sister couldn’t find us because I sent her a text with the original unit info. I called and they said it was correct. I freaked out for a few minutes though. When I read my lease it says they have the right to change your unit to a comparable one. Just wish they would have brought it to my attention. Also con was we were with my mom and stepdad, both in their 80s, and there was no elevator in building B. The elevator in building A only goes to the 2nd floor and we were on the 4th. We had to go up the elevator in building C then walk quite a distance. No issues for my husband and I, but my stepdad has bad knees and the extra walking was hard. Otherwise everything was great. The stove top didn’t work and I was able to call and get someone right away who told me to flip the circuit breaker for the stove top and it worked. The condo was great quality with heavy wooden doors that give you privacy. Also the sliding glass windows double so you can close and get quiet from the pool.
