Feb 18,2023From the day we made our reservations to the day we checked out of our rental, Kauai Exclusive made the renting process as painless and easy as possible. We received our booking approval quickly and easily made our deposit and final payments. We were emailed our rental instructions within a week of checking in and, before our arrival day, we received a call from our rental agent checking to see if we had any questions. Our rental was clean and well stocked. We did need beach towels and those were delivered within an hour of calling to ask for them. We couldn’t have had a better experience.

We had several issues with safe, stove top, lighting and fans; staff and management were helpful in rectifying some challenges, but others required more extensive repair and were not fixable while we were there. Overall enjoyed our vacation and would visit again.

Feb 17,2023Location was great - convenient to Poipu Beach area and all of the activities/attractions on the south side of the island, but in a quieter setting away from the crowds. Beautiful garden and pool out front door. Great snorkel beach across the road. Excellent ocean views from deck. Room was clean and everything up to date and parking was convenient. As a bonus, utilized boogie board and snorkel equipment in closet.

The KEM website says the hotel had a "lazy river" but when we staying it was a "dead river" just one long swimming pool, KEM should be discounting our room charge because they misrepresented the hotel had a "lazy river", we'll see if they do what they say. If they don't willfully discount our room..... buyer beware.

We had issues with a lot of little things - screen doors stick - issues with living room TV remotes - had to get more dish soap - carpet was dirty - very limited kitchen ware - room price increase from last stay was steep Overall we love staying at the WBR, these are a few things that would make it a perfect stay Aloha

Feb 07,2023The location of this condo is great. Stunning view, walking distance to a great breakfast bakery, coconut market for other eating options. We we were 3 couples, ourselves and 2 adult children couples. The space is perfect. We loved having the laundry in the unit, so we don’t need to pack as much! In general, I would have appreciated some written “hints”. I’m talking about all of the remotes on the table, 5. (Batteries needed changing.) Also that there is a bathroom/shower by the pool (with a code) so we didn’t always have to run upstairs. We figured out how to turn on the ice maker in the frig, but it would have been nice to have instructions. Lastly, the air conditioning in the upstairs loft bedroom ( also the main living room) didn’t work. We finally figured out that the remotes for the bedroom would work for the living room once we changed the batteries. The bedroom never worked, and since heat rises, it was a little stuffy for a few nights. I don’t mean to make it sound bad, but with a few tweaks it could be 5 stars. What kinds of things would you want if you were on a vacation 4000 miles from home??? Mahalo
