Sep 21,2022The condo was outstanding, it was in a great location. The pool was extremely close, just to the left of the front door. There was no noise at all from the pool. It was a two minute walk to the beach, out the sliding door or front door. The parking lot was very close and convenient. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The kids did fine on the pullout couch in the living room. There were two toilets, one was behind a partial glass wall, the other was in the shower area. So the one didn’t have much privacy, but the one in the shower area did. The kitchen had a huge Subzero fridge/freezer. Coffee maker, dishwasher, dishes etc. it has a full-size washer and dryer in the unit. The central AC worked great, ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room. Two chairs on the lanai and a table, four chairs and table in the living area. When it came to things like soap, toilet paper etc. they were lacking. We had to go buy more laundry detergent, shampoo, dishwasher detergent, and even toilet paper after we ran out of those items. For nine nights and four guests in the condo, we were a little surprised not to have more of these items. With four bath towels, we found ourselves doing a lot of laundry, because the towels were wet. But, having the laundry in the unit was certainly helpful. The pool was amazing! A few hot tubs, some for families, others for adults. Water slides, and a kiddie pool with sand. Overall, it was a great property and experience. I did hear a lot of folks complaining about the lack of room or pool keys, and having to use a lengthy code to get in, but it could be worse, you’re in Hawaii. 🤙 The only complaint about the room was the view out the living room was into another hallway. So people walked by a fair amount and could see right into the room. But, the view to the left and from the bedroom and bedroom lanai was amazing and looked out to the beach. Safeway was right across the street, Panda Express and ABC etc. Kenji’s was a great place to eat. They had excellent burgers and was an easy few minutes to the left of the property. A great experience that I would highly recommend. Aloha!

Sep 21,2022The location is great, but…… when we arrived it was over 90 degrees inside the unit. The filters on each unit were so dirty I don’t know how they were functioning. After cleaning then we left so the unit would cool down. This property is old and could use some updating. Overall we enjoyed the stay, but don’t expect this property to be a 5 star. More like 3.5.

Sep 19,2022Communication prior to our rental was great and everything went exactly as had been described. The security was perfect and the condo exceptional. Everything was fantastic including the pool and restaurant. The final day they even worked with us for a half day rental that allowed us to stay until our flight home late that evening! Overall a wonderful experience.

Sep 14,2022Amazing place, perfectly located.My wife and I went to Kauai for out anniversary and stayed in Waipouli Beach resort, room D304, it was amazing! Our room had an Amazing view and the pool was a great place to unwind. We had dinner at the Oasis Restaurant with spectacular views. All the staff there was supper helpful, will recommend this place to everyone!!

Sep 13,2022Loved our experience. Every morning we got up, opened the walls up to the ocean facing view and let the breeze and salt air in, all while drinking our Kauai coffee! It was glorious. Easy island to get anyplace! Fun to drive the little neighborhoods, see the glorious mountains, and eat incredible foods! Our stay was magnificent! Thank you!!

Sep 13,2022Unit location and view were great. Comfy beds and beach supplies were great. Air conditioning did not work upstairs. Ice maker broken. Outside tables on the lanai should be square. Round tables are hard to put together so everyone can eat comfortably. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Excellent pool.

Sep 09,2022This was our 2nd time visiting the island and staying in this unit at Waipouli Beach Resort! The grounds are beautiful, the pool is so nice and perfect for all ages, and the room is spacious, clean and had all the amenities we could hope for! The only thing we were hoping was a little better was the outlets seemed to be in odd places and there weren’t many available, and it seemed like some of the furnishings could use a little updating, but that could just be personal preferences! We will be back for sure!

Sep 08,2022Kauai in August, my experience was amazing the first day there was a bug problem called the management company and they responded within 5 minutes within another 15 minutes they set us up in an amazing place, couldn't be happier with the customer service would definitely go through Kauai management company again

Aug 31,2022We found the accommodations perfect for our large group of adults of varied ages - family. It was spacious and very clean. We had one glitch in that when we arrived our codes did not work. By phone we were given new ones and received activation. Also we were not given any instructions on leaving the units. We just followed past experiences and hope we left Pane Makai as you wished. Overall it was a perfect vacation.

Aug 30,2022We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It has everything to make our stay comfortable, even beach chairs, coolers, and umbrella for our trips to the beach. The only gripe i have is the small bottles of shampoo and lotion that the management company provided. They are not environmentally friendly. Install one of those dispensers in the showers and fill those up. Also, the dishwasher does need a rinse aide that should be made available to guests.

Aug 29,2022We had a wonderful experience at Waipouili Resort. The condo was spacious, well equipped, comfortable with view of the ocean … the building has an elevator and the property was equally accessible. Delicious meal was served at on site restaurant-Oasis and the spa on site has excellent massages. . We would definitely return!

Aug 29,2022The house was nice, but outdated. Jacuzzi bathtub was just a bathtub, very disappointing!!! The refrigerator stunk extremely bad!! Pool was really nice. Asked the concierge if we needed any permits for the beaches or hikes and his answer was no, could not go to Ke'e Beach because we needed a reservation. This was the one beach we wanted to go back to, highly disappointed!!! The house was very expensive and I don't think we got what we paid for. You need to get someone to take care of the yard and plants!

They asked us booked us in a fabulous house, Poipu Makani Lani, on the south shore and it was not only a house that is modern, clean, uncluttered, it has a custom kitchen, outdoor shower available, pool and spa! The house has all the little things you usually wish they had. Kauai Exclusive also offered concierge service to hall us book activities (helicopter, Nepali coast snorkeling, zip lining), and restaurants as well!! Great folks who know what they’re doing and treat you like Ohanna!

I would truly come back to this place if we come to Kauai again.They had beach chairs, snorkeling stuff, cooler and etc. for your trip to the beach or just taking a cooler with snacks to your hiking adventures.
