Carol was very helpful and helped me by giving me all the details of Insurance options for my little Cooper after Agria did the same for Wilma a month or so ago. She was clear and answered my questions. We sorted out the insurance and Carol also explained about the Agria Vet Guide App which I downloaded while on the phone. It looks amazing and a huge help if I ever needed it. Many thanks to Carol and Agria would definitely recommend.
Our pet dog had to go to the vets requiring x-ray and potential ACL surgery. The Agria app worked well and the advice was prompt. The Kennel club were attentive and paid out the claim fast. No silly deductions.

I accepted the offer of an introductory free period while I was registering my new puppy with the Kennel Club - why not, I thought ? BECAUSE THIS INSURANCE COMPANY UNLEASHES A BARRAGE OF EMAILS, TEXTS AND PHONE CALLS AND WILL NOT STOP ! Every day, I get a new text and / or email that I cannot answer or unsubscribe from, telling me how much time I have left until the end of the trial period and laying on the guilt if I don't take out a full policy. The person I kept receiving phone calls from LAUGHED AT ME when I told him I did not consent to the repeated calls ! He then called me a LIAR and said I HAD CALLED HIM. The introductory free period of insurance has so many carve-outs and exceptions that it is near worthless anyway, and judging from other comments the real insurance policies are not any better and extremely over-priced when compared like-for-like with competitors. Just avoid this relentless hard sell. The Kennel Club should be ashamed of associating themselves with this type of sleazy behaviour. UPDATE And cue a form reply from this company insisting that I call them to remove myself from a marketing list I never asked to be on. Every reputable other company gives an option in each text or email to opt out of marketing but not this one - they want a final opportunity to sell you one-on-one, and you called them, so that makes it alright and not yet more harassment. Just so sleazy. UPDATE You do not need my details, because it is obviously your policy to automatically harrass those who get misled into accepting your BS free insurance. Just stop automatically sending daily texts and emails, provide a way to opt out without requiring a phone call (like every other civilised company) and respect the wishes of those who do not want to be repeatedly called to be sold insurance. There - solved your problem for you and you did not even have to "investigate" anything. UPDATE Now this insurance company is insisting that I provide my personal details to "prove this is a genuine customer experience" or they will get the review removed from this site. Talk about high pressure and sleazy tactics ! I prefer to prove this is a genuine review by quoting from the latest email I received, WHICH HAS A COUNTDOWN CLOCK with the hours left remaining on the free introductory policy: "Dear [REDACTED], [REDACTED]’s free policy ends on [REDACTED]! It’s important to upgrade to our lifetime cover before your free policy expires, to prevent exclusions being applied to your policy and enjoy the complete peace of mind that comes with our award-winning lifetime protection. Upgrade your free policy to one of our lifetime policies today – and we’ll give you the first 3 months half price! Simply quote promo code GIFT24. Get a free luxury dog hamper from Love Louie. Plus, you'll get your first 3 months half price! We'll email you details about how to redeem your hamper 90 days after your new policy begins" How would a fake reviewer be able to provide THOSE DETAILS ? UPDATE The text of the email I received from Trustpilot: "You’ve written a review for Kennel Club Pet Insurance, and they’ve asked for more details to better understand your experience. Just a reminder that you have 2 days left to provide more information or your review may be taken offline." Sleazy people get others to do their dirty work and deny they had anything to do with it. UPDATE This insurance company sends multiple emails PER DAY with subject lines like "It's time to protect [pet name]" and "Last few days to keep [pet name] protected!". To say nothing of the similar text messages and phone calls. This is just harrasment, but when faced with a negative public review of course, all they want to do now is "understand my experience" and "improve the services we provide". They know full well what they are doing, they do it deliberately and it should not be necessary for anyone to have to "opt out" in order to escape this revolting treatment, or engage with this sleazy company any further by calling them or providing personal details ON A REVIEW WEBSITE. UPDATE NOW I AM GETTING SENT EVEN MORE ADVERTISING FROM THESE PEOPLE BY POST ! It's apparently being sent by the Kennel Club, but to an address that I only gave to this insurance company, and claims that my registration is not complete. More fearmongering, all just to sell their useless insurance. THESE PEOPLE ARE JUST AWFUL.
Easy to set up, fast claim pay out
Fantastic service from Kennel club insurance. Not only are they quick to process any claims, but they keep you well informed at each stage. I had some questions regarding vet bills today and spoke to a lovely lady called Jennifer, who was soo helpful and really went above and beyond to answer all my questions clearly. I left the phone call with a much clearer mind, which is invaluable when you have an IVDD dachshund on crate rest and you are feeling a bit overwhelmed with everything. I can really recommend the Kennel club for all your pet insurance needs.
So helpful great service always
I have had my dog insured with the Kennel Club for five years and never made a claim, until now. The insurance is very expensive and I thought I was paying for a gold service, little did I know. The process is extremely slow and in complete contravention to what they claim and the information from their own e mails, service times and settlement are totally out of line with their information. Further delays are introduced by staff who can't even read a basic invoice and I have been accused of claiming the wrong amount. More delaying tactics in actually having to pay out. I had my previous dog insured by Tesco and when he fell ill they were brilliant and paid out within 24 hours. I shall not be renewing my policy and will be moving my insurance back to Tesco.

Oct 25,2024I have used The kennel club insurance for both of my dogs and my experience has always been positive. They actually do what they say they are going to do and are so helpful on the phone. I can not praise them enough.
