So far so good , used the Agria app a couple of times to book an online video appt with a vet . Very impressed with this service. Haven’t had to make a claim so far so not able to comment on that process and hope I don’t need to .

I cannot fault the service I have had from the Kennel Club Insurance Co. The claims are settled quickly and any issues are addressed and dealt with. The call takers are very knowledgeable and helpful, in particular Sharon Millar, who assisted me with various questions today re my dog who has a number of different health issues.

My details were fraudulently used to set up a policy. I reported this to the kennel club immediately and they cancelled the policy and told me they would mark this down as fraud. However, I have since been invited to give a Trustpilot review as a customer. I was assured that my details and file would be marked as fraud but clearly it hasn’t if they still have me listed as a customer of theirs.
Shane was very helpful and took time to ensure all my questions were answered in full.

We're pleased to have continued with the kennel club insurance for our puppy but didn't realise that we could have gone direct to the underwriters. I also forgot to add the gift code and missed out on the puppy hamper. Something others need to watch out for, it's easily missed but we were pleased to have had the first five weeks free so 4* for this. Until we actually need to make a claim we can't give a 5* as don't know yet how good the insurance will actually be when needed. Further to my review Kerry from Kennel club has been in touch. It was great to talk to her especially as she was extremely kind and happy to give us some very helpful information and suggestions. Thanks. We still highly recommend the Kennel Club.
Shane was incredibly knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and unerringly polite (even when I, somewhat rudely, spoke over him !!). I was able to find out all the information I needed, and was not at any time made to feel like I was being rushed. Well done, Shane ... thank oyu!
Have been a customer for a number of years. Needed assistance with a claim and spoke to Shane who was so helpful, lovely to talk to and very kind.
We are paying high monthly amounts but not able to claim for a year... our dog was attacked by another dog...we cannot claim a thing...? We are leaving..we were recommended but I don't know why...
We searched and purchased our puppy with the confidence that it had 5 weeks insurance with the Kennel Club. When we collected him the breeder pointed out that the little spot on top of his head had been checked by her vet and it was nothing more than a little cyst and I quote "nothing at all to worry about". We returned home with our new puppy and on request of the breeder we had him checked over by our own vets within 4 days of collecting him. I mentioned the little spot to my vet and she said we'll keep an eye on it. On our return to the vet for his vaccinations the vet decided to take a small blood sample from the spot and after tests it was declared it was a mast cell tumour and needed to be removed ASAP. The operation cost over £1000 and after my vet contacted the Kennel Club to make a claim they decided they would not cover it as it was a 'pre-existing condition' which is utter nonsense ! We purchased the puppy on the understanding that it was "nothing to worry about" and at no point had it been said it was a mast cell tumour. The Kennel Club contacted the breeder and the breeders vet to be told the same and yet still they refused to cover the claim. At such a distressing time we really hoped and expected the Kennel Club to have a better understanding and a level of compassion over the matter. What a complete waste of time the 5 weeks insurance policy is ! For a 'supposed' reputable company its absolutely DISGUSTING that we had to pay the £1000+ and yet through no fault of our own. Be aware, a typical insurance company that will try every loophole possible not to settle a claim. And then have the audacity to ask me to pay monthly fees to carry on with the policy !! If I could give 0/5 I would.
The company has a good name, that’s why I chose them as well as a good offer at the start when my dog was a puppy, but since then the price rises and rises I’m now over £200 a month! Every claim they take a big excess so you are constantly paying. When I’ve spoken or written to their customer service they are quite cold and abrupt! I definitely wouldn’t choose them again!
