Oct 27,2024Klass Wagen is a car rental shop 5 km from the airport that scams customers. They demand a €3,800 security deposit and pressure you with add-on fees. If you refuse, they threaten to withhold most of your deposit. In the end, I paid over four times the original price. Avoid these fraudsters.

Oct 26,2024Klass Wagen is a small rental agency off the airport specializing in ‘hidden’ charges and fees. I was asked to pay an additional 55 Euros per day to cover “scratches” - much more money than the initial rental fee. The pushy and young sales agent made very clear that ‘new’ scratches on the car will be found, whether I make them or not, at a cost of 200 Euros per scratch. No morally decent person would work at such a rip-off place. Avoid.

Oct 24,2024Recently, our decision to rent a car from KlassWagen was heavily influenced by their stellar reviews. However, our experience revealed a stark contrast between their reputation and the reality we faced. Upon arrival, we were pressured to purchase additional insurance, despite having already paid for everything online. The representative insisted that without it, we would be at risk for hidden damages. After careful consideration, we declined, believing our initial payment covered all necessary protections. This refusal seemed to trigger an unprofessional response from the staff. During our interactions, it became evident that the staff was distracted, with employees texting and chatting amongst themselves. This lack of attentiveness made us feel undervalued as customers. One representative even indicated that we would face a charge of 100 euros for every scratch on the car, despite her assurance that the vehicle was in fine condition. Adding to our frustration was the absence of prior records regarding the car's condition. When we attempted to take photographs to document any existing damages, we were abruptly told that if we continued, the representative would terminate our contract and refuse to return us to the airport. This level of intimidation was not only unprofessional but also deeply concerning. After our experience with Klasswagen we learned that Trustpilot has a paid service where companies can buy paid positive reviews. Most of their reviews are generated this way and they do not publish most of their negative reviews.

Oct 17,2024BUD-17539462364347Just used klass wagon budapest last week and it was one of my best rental cars i ever used .. helpful staff good 9 seater van and fast check-in and check-out, suggest to always do fully insurance so you will have hassle free .. by the way they only charge me 100 euro deposit and they release it when I returned the Van while big companies wanted 1500 euro deposit even with fully insurance so I recommend Klass wagon for budapest ..AAA+

Oct 14,2024Klasswagen is always my first choice to rent a car in Budapest. Their fleet is young and the cars are reliable. Easy to book a car online, they quickly take you to their base from the airport which take about 10 minutes. Unfortunately you can’t open an account on their website, hopefully this option will be available soon. Thank you.
